ORIENTATION101:
mention your language yoruba is taught in all schools in south west.
Infact lagos state govt pass it into law that it is compulsory it for every student whether igbo, hausa , or ijaw. So far u school in lagos u must learn
Like I said most schools I know Lagos leads when it comes to doing right by school children.
Back in the day history and Edo language is taught in both private and public schools but now it is all history.

Well someday its got to be changed and am happy most of the posts agree the flag needs a change.

Politics › Change Of Nigerian Flag Now by Mcreloaded(op): 10:11pm On Sep 08, 2018
Please it is high time we clamour for change of our Nigerian flag which I must say is not appealing enough compared to flags of other nations that is supposed to be a pride and joy to its citizen.
There is no place in the whole country that this Green , White and Green is regarded with high esteem.
Truth be told I am surprised this flag is still being used.
There is no glamour in the Green White Green flag, No stealth, No sign of love or Unity.
I Mc Reloaded says let's change this flag now.
A flag is supposed to be loved and cherished and used as a symbol but even if you go to the police station which is the only place you can find one or in a military barracks the beeze have have even refused to make it flap.
No schools raise the flag again .
The Nigerian flag is just there as in it has no levels,no swag, no glamour, no stealth, no unity, no love, no semblance of representing anything.
Please let's raise out voice and see how this flag can be redesigned and repackaged to embrace a true Nigeria .
Please feel free to add for or against this drab old flag that refuses to flutter no more

obi58:
Don't say what you don't know. Can you prove the imported rice is devoid of nutrients? Till tomorrow no one has heard of deaths related to consumption of foreign rice.

You don't need to knock another person's product to project yours.

As for the government well.... 3 years down the line and in spite of all the media propaganda the truth is still out there that people still consume far more foreign rice than local. The so called lake rice that we expected to have fully established it's market share especially in Lagos is still a seasonal product.
All am saying is that the solution they seek is the same solution to solving all production problems which is electricity and for your information i it is my own opinion that local rice is more nutritious and devoid of preservatives which I like to eat and mind you Ekpoma rice has always been more expensive than foreign rice and believe it or not the rich alone buy it here in Edo state and there is never enough for the common man because its more expensive due to production cost. Ekpoma rice sweet die
Food › Re: Why Nigerian Rice Is Expensive And Scarce - Fatimah Aliyu by Mcreloaded(m): 12:23pm On Aug 30, 2018
The problem with local rice is that its too expensive because I know that Ekpoma rice which is sweeter has always been more expensive than foreign imported rice and because of its nutritional values I can tell you that people like us that have means and are well to do can never eat imported rice because its polished and striped of its nutritional value.

Electricity is the sole problem of high cost of production. Not only in rice production but in all other business so please this government should stop looking for excuses or who to blame but rather work on electricity and see all aspects of the economy grow

Once upon a time Jonathan started and completed a lot of projects in the North and we know why.
Now President Buhari is re starting abandoned projects by Jonathan and also kick starting new projects in the East and I guess we also know why.
Let's not forget at the end of the day the North did not vote for Jonathan so let's see if history will repeat itself where by president Buhati will complete both past, abandoned and present projects kick started by him.
Time will tell

The same way Oshiomhole constructed the road leading to Annenihs house. I trust Oshiomhole is behind this arrangement.
Unless the road leading to sarakis hometown is not yet tarred the I won't be surprised if the road is also awarded.
Please governors and leaders alike start working on the roads leading to your home town or house because it is a curse for opposition to construct roads leading to your houses or home town and you shamelessly ride your car on the same road.

Interesting, I watched a program few weeks ago where some people were crying that there were no anti venom vaccines in Nigeria hospitals and that patients are dying left, right and center...ah! government is useless etc etc.
Today again, I am reading a news now that snakes are exported to Europe.
You know what they do to those snakes? They harvest their venom, process it then ship it back to Nigeria and WE BUY for our hospitals. Is this not crazy?
Surprisingly, to make an anti venom is quite easy.
1. Extract the venom
2. Inject it on a life horse
3. Take the blood of the horse after few hours and extract the white blood cells. Hola that is your anti venom med.
4. Ship it back to Africa and pocket your money.
Where are all our industrial microbiologists...and Lab scientists? Waitin una even go school go do? Too many ways to make money but we are all waiting for Npower.
We also have crude oil but yet we export it and import the refined oil.
Its called the more you look the less you see.
The question you should be asking is who did we offend.

Noted but the PDP need to be vigilant because the Nigeria of today can change anything for you.
If they allow APC to even enter the house to vote whether quorum or no quorum the story go long for court.
If possible they should go and be sleeping in front of the gate to avoid stories that touch.

He doesn't know what to do with money. To some people being super-rich means to live above the unexpected but I believe in multiplication of wealth to change society.

Africans wealthy class are exchanging the little we have for the west's tech. Like this we'll still remain where we are.

White man manufactures a 'toy', we give our scarce resources to him in exchange for his 'toy'. Good to live big but not when there's hunger in the land.
Same way the brought gin, mirror, biscycle and comb and took away our mineral resources and slaves in exchange. The vicious circle continues
