I am sorry to bother you sir, but if you don't mind, how can I get in touch with you? Genuinely for my husband. He will be the one to contact you pls if you don't mind. He will verify all he needs to know from you directly. Pls he works as an engineer with one of the telecoms, and I run a business. Please, can you give us (him) a space to talk with you? If it is possible sir, here's my mail (chizkemss@yahoo.com). Thank you.
I don't usually do this. I only felt interested to help due to his occupation. I am well grounded about this Australia migration. I am not an agent. But I am an old OG in the process. First, how old is your husband? And how many years experience does he have as a telecom Engineer?

Congratulations sir on making it to Australia. Wishing you all the very best.

Please if may ask, how much did it cost to migrate only you to Australia. I’m looking to migrate too but will really appreciate first hand info on cost.

Another thing, I’m single. Do you think I will feel very lonely in Australia? Are there many black sisters in the country?

Thank you.
Visa AUD$4640 for one person. That's roughly about USD$3200. If you have dependant, each will cost extra AUD$2000 per dependant wife or children.

Assessment of your qualification/skills AUD$965. That's roughly about USD$650.

English test USD$125 depending on how fast you are able to get the required scores, or else, you have to reseat it.

This is just a sample for Engineers. So, sum everything up, you should have an idea of what it will cost you for the whole process, excluding flight money and upkeep money.

Come off it bruv. Stop that. No be for Australia bruv. Stop this blatant lie. Australia is a multicultural country. Everyone is treated equal. If you see any obvious discrimination, you can report to the appropriate body and they will take it up.

Australia is not your average Joe country o.

I for once agree with you. Just imagine how he is raving about some aspects of Nigeria that are purely cultural. There are certain positions in the 'saner climes ' that can give you the leverage to ask your subs for a cup of coffee, so I wonder which rubbish he is talking about?

The saying that Australia id expensive to fly to is an over statement. With $2000 which is less than what you make in a fortnight, you will come to Nigeria and return to Australia. For the investment aspect, I won't assume you think there are no real estate companies and trusted relatives that can take care of your investment while in a foreign country
Chidi, I remember when you migrated back then. I can't remember the exact year. How time flies!

Were you by any means in the Australia migration thread in the travel section back then? Or am I mistaking you for another Chidi? Kindly clear my doubts. Kindly let me know if I am referring to the same person.

Not again!!!

Unless he intends to return to Nigeria later in life, why the conversion? Is he spending naira in Australia? Just as I stated above, returning has to be planned now or else, he will be in Australia for the rest of his life, as flying to Nigeria would not be feasible unless he gets quite rich to afford it. Remaining in Australia for the rest of his life erodes whatever AUD to NGN conversion you have there.

His earnings and expenses are in AUD, stick to it. Nothing concerns NGN in Australia.
Brother, I don't even know the side you belong o. Better come out plain let me know the category to put you. Cuz I don't understand some of your comments in some of these japa threads.

God bless you for sharing.
I'm 30. Plenty hope still dey.

Still not happy with the oversabi angel that sent me to Nigeria though.
We go settle scores when the time comes.. angry
Start now. Time no dey o. 45 is the maximum age limit for a single person to migrate to Australia, except you have a partner whose age is below 45 who can serve as the main applicant. Anything above 45, you need a job sponsorship to sponsor you.

In the case of Op, it was possible for him cuz of his wife who was already there, that's why the age didn't affect him. So, better start making plans now if you really want to cuz age is still on your side.

Tellmeastory:
By ‘evil’ what do you mean?

That’s the issue.

What is evil to some is good to others.
Evil is when one pays assassins to kill his own brother or another person due to business deals.

Evil is when one intentionally oppress others by taking over their properties or their means of livelihood due to the fact that he has money. Oppression is evil.

Evil is when one is intentionally trying to tarnish another person's name or lying against another person just to tarnish the person's image or make the person look like a bad person to others. That's pure evil. The person knows what he or she is doing is not right.

Evil is when one goes to babalawo to use JuJu to kill another innocent person out of jealousy. They are many ways people do evil things. At least, I have given you clues of what evil means. Such persons, there hands are not clean.

Evil is when people work for you and you intentionally withhold their salaries. You and I know that's evil. Not that you don't have the money but you intentionally refused to pay your workers when due. How do you want them to feed? That's evil.

In fact, love your neighbor as yourself is the summary of how to stay away from evil. Some evils are heavier than others. But they are still all evils.

There are some evils one will commit, your God's given conscience will surely tell the person that what he is doing is not right. But because the heart of man is filled with evil, he will rebuke that conscience and still continue his evil doings.

The greatest evil is the one that one will carry out to take the life of an innocent person. But there are some things one will do unintentionally not that the person planned to do it. Nature can pardon you for such cuz it wasn't your intention. But the person must come to the realisation and ask for forgiveness.

In essence, what someone will do to you, you won't like it, don't do it to another person.

Are you playing with village people,if you check how many of them are even happy the guy went abroad? From his father side even in his mother side?

Truth is this people are very jealous and the only way was to make the father fall sick knowing fully well he will be back to Nigeria,so they could kill him with that ant

And someone will say that an ordinary ant I shake my head for such people who are ignorant

As long as the devil exist evil will surely exist, spirituality will surely exist

Even God said that in the bible so who re those to argue thathuh

They haven't seen anything yet or experience such in life, na that time their eye go clear

Them no dey go village with ordinary eye o

Especially if you know the kind of place you come from no joke here.
Exactly. Let's always know the kind village or place we are from so we thread carefully. Evil too plenty in some villages.

Na so them just be. They no dey use eye see a young man who is doing well who decided to come for a visit in the village. Just within a night, one kind mysterious thing will just happen to the person.

Point out where I said there is no spirituality. Otherwise, you are the naive one.
All your replies imply you don't believe in spirituality. How will you even know what's spiritual and not when you can't see beyond your nose? All you know is to eat sleep and wake up freely cuz of that you think that's all about this evil world.

Go and intensify your spiritual life. You that don't even pray.

Do you know how many things evil people put on the ground for people to match? Before you realise the person leg will just be swelling.

Being too woke in this life is stupidity.

Let me drop another secret. If you are the doubting type who doesn't believe in spirituality, just make sure your hands are clean in everything you do. That will be your only saving grace.

If you doubt spirituality, make sure your hands are clean and free of evil. That will be your only saving grace, if not, if you don't believe in spirituality and still go about doing evil things, it's just a matter of time before hand go reach you by those stronger than you spiritually.

But if your hands are clean, the universe and God will always protect you because in this case, you are innocent. Just that you are spirituality weak in both body and soul. But because your hands are free of evil, you might stay untouchable.

Be wise!

If you've never been to your village for a very long time, don't ever pass the night there. Visit and leave immediately. You should know your village better than any one else. Ask your parents about your village if you didn't grow up there.

It would have been better he takes the father to the city and cater for him rather than passing nights in the village. If you used to visit your village all the time, you might not really have any issue.

But if you are the type that has been away for a very long time, don't make the mistake of passing the night in your village. They will strike you if you are not spiritually strong.

Stop doubting spirituality. Get some sense!

Everything is not spiritual. Someone from America can die in Nigeria just by drinking sachet water because immune system conditions determine levels of allergies.

The first set of white people that came to Africa died for this reason. But the ones that survived it or took preventive measures survived even the evil forests that Africans feared.

According to people like you, everything is spiritual. Not getting a visa to a country is spiritual. When a faulty vehicle (not road worthy) interrupts your journey, it is spiritual. When you want to preach or sing but your faulty sound system disturbs, it is spiritual. When power interruption occurs during your church program, it is spiritual. When voters make wrong choices and produce a bad president, you say it is the will of God. grin
You are too naive bruv. Chaaiiiiii I dey shake my head for you. Most of u should thank God say God dey indirectly dey protect una o without knowing. Na make una dey get mouth dey doubt spirituality. Chaiiiiiiiiiiii. I was once like you until I came to my senses.
