gforce5:A soul finally sees the light. We need to win more souls from the long lived darkness to the side of light. AmuDimpka, remain you. We can't leave you in darkness. Come over to the side of light let the light shines on you and liberate you from the horrific abyss call nation, filled with so much corruptions. Have you not heard they've just increased electricity tariff from 68 naira to 225 per kilowatts, with no increase in minimum wage? The earlier you know that those in power don't give a damn about you, the better for you. Since we entered this year, we've been experiencing epileptic power supply. People's businesses have been suffering from poor power and here they came with an increased in Electricity tariff. How is the common man going to survive? Imagine a country that gained independence for over 60 years ago, can't boost of stable electricity that will make small to medium scale businesses boom. Since we were kids, we started hearing Nigeria will get better. Now, we've grown to full adults and the same Nigeria has gone from bad to worse. No where is it even close to getting better. Let's open our eyes and let's be wise. Don't let anyone fools you. If you still put your hope in this country, better have a rethink. |
Eagba:Attend sign language class, you will understand or decode their signs. Back then I was learning this thing. It's a very lucrative field. I have forgotten all my sign language gestures. Chaiiiiii. |
Caramia2020:Omo,me too o. Lay low na my second name. Even to dress flashy, some neighbours fit dey envy you why are u dressing flashy. Na rags person go dey wear now o. This life get as it be. So, na common sense person take dey live am. |
Tellmeastory, back to the question you once asked me about what really is evil? I have been looking for a better example to show you. Here is a typical example of evil. Now, these are some of the evil things men commit against their fellow humans out of jealousy and enviousness. The heart of man they say is no doubt really filled with evil. The hands of people like these are not clean. To you, will you say this is an evil act or a good act that demands an applaud? |
AmuDimpka, withdraw your view about Nigeria being one of the best countries in the world to reside, or else I will petition you so you can come and explain to us the good this shithole has done for the masses. Our lives are not safe again in this country, and you and all your cohorts know this. |

So, what's the process of taking the loan, and when does one pay back? |
This is one thing I commend Africa for. Africa was created never to experience all these terrific natural disasters. The only problem we have are bad leaders and irredeemable corruptions. If not, Africa is blessed. |
Armaggedon:My question to you now is; is it only a gas turbine that can generate 11MW? Do you even know what 11MW means? |
Armaggedon:11MW might seems small right? I once had such thoughts until I searched how many homes a single megawatt can power. You will be shocked that, on average, 1 megawatt of power can supply electricity to around 400-900 homes. So, how many homes can make up a mini estate? Any way, in all, Nigeria needs to do better. |
Ishilove, come and carry your gender. Na man go still put this one for house as wife o. Men, why? |
Abdulquadrimuha:I am yet to get my assessment. I am on it. On with my CDRs. Been gathering my documents. Yeah. The Importance is that once they obtain full signatory under the Washington accord, Engineers from Nigeria won't be going through the process of writing career episodes. They will just submit documents straight up without writing career episodes to demonstrate their competencies. |
What an unsafe country I find myself! Is this the country Tendd wants me to stay and raise my unborn kids? God have mercy! |
This is the country that AmuDimpka wants me to share with him. Amu, you're a wicked man. |
AmuDimpka my guy, your food don land o. Sit down make you chop belle full. Oya fire down. |
Tendd:Chaiii! Mo na dey fear God sometimes my guy..Na wa o. This is coming from someone wey dey stay the poverty capital of the world o. |
Nigerfine3:Is it in Nigeria that people don't work? People are mentally drained in Nigeria than abroad where things work. Have you ever get caught up with Lagos hold up before? A situation where you need to wake up by 4a.m to go to work just to beat hold up. Some of you folks abroad don't really know the value of being in a sane society. That's why few of you are taking things for granted. Nigeria is not the way you left it. Things are very terrible here. We can't walk safely. I know of someone who was doubled crossed and his lab sprayed with bullets in his GLK when he was driving out of a hotel at about 8pm in the evening. He was kidnapped with and taken into a bush, cleared his account and still call family members to bring money to settle the kidnappers before he was handed to the family. I was the one that roles the guy on hospital chair into one of the federal teaching hospital. Have you ever imagined experiencing such traumatising experience? If you know you can't provide security for yourself, just know the possibility of being hijack is much. Cuz right now, if you are living flashy, you will definitely be a target by kidnappers. These are some of the things few of you abroad don't value. Have you heard of kidnapping in that abroad you are right now before? These people don't care if they kill their victims. They will spray the person bullets if he tries escaping. Pls, you guys need to really appreciate the security you enjoy abroad because here in Nigeria, without your own personal security, you can't move freely if you are a big man. I am not saying you should not come back. But be mentally ready to experience some of the things people are experiencing here so that you won't be in shock when you experience one or two of those things. That's when you will appreciate abroad life. |
Kelechi009:You're not serious. Not only setting themselves for failure. |
Chiuzk:You're welcome. |
lazkizz:Congrats to all farmers out there. You guys are the heroes. Without farm produces, hunger for dey hammer everybody for this country. You've done well! |
Richtaiwo:You no prepare for jamb be that. I wrote my first jamb in 2009. These are common questions. Even post UTME, they set these simple questions in English papers cuz they know 70% of people won't get simple questions like these right. |
Wahala. If you ever wrote jamb in those days, this is a popular question. It's actually off hand, not off head. I know the recitation off hand. Not I know it off head. |
chidi4sam:Wonderful! |
Usefulsense:I see! Thanks. |
Chiuzk:Ok. He has exceeded the maximum allowable age for the Australia skilled migration. The only route for him now is visa 482 job sponsorship. This doesn't actually come that easy though. But there is no wrong in trying. He can put up application on Australia jobs sites and look for employers to sponsor him. He can also try and look for those in his occupation who are residing in Australia to recommend him for jobs sponsorship over there. I know of a one man who got sponsored through this process. One of his friends recommended him in his office in Australia, and he was sponsored right from Nigeria on visa 482. However, if that doesn't work, if you have qualification or experience in a good occupation, and your age is below 45, you can choose to go ahead with the usual migration process while your husband become the dependant. If all these options fail, if there is funds, then the only route is through study for you, which is the same process OP use for his wife whom he later joined. Try and discuss these with your hubby first so you guys can put heads to together. Nothing is impossible! |
chidi4sam:Chaaiiiiii! No wonder! Any way, mo na prepare to welcome me in my first landing o if NSW ends up giving me visa, ma no go do like JJC in my first few months o. Na man wey know road them dey follow o. I see say most of you guys are in NSW. |
chidi4sam:Wow! That's very commendable. You are the 3rd person I am hearing this from. They said our Nigerian brothers and sisters are really helping out a lot over there. I even got to know about one bros that was recommended straight by a Nigerian guy through visa 482 sponsorship. He recommended the bros in their office and they hired him directly from Nigeria and sponsored him. Through recommendation! I was impressed. Things like these are very impressive. |
Gerrard59:Hmmm. Ma no drag you. You be old OG in the travel section. Much respect sir. |
ArewaNightmare:Not at all. That one no even reach visa money. |
Treadway:Whether una like am or not, Nigeria is not safe a place to stay. Over 70% of people are suffering in this country, trust me. Relocating abroad is not for everybody. But mo na allow those who don escape this zoo breath. |
Bassmetrics:Ain't you supposed to know this before now? Check the sky in Nigeria, it's polluted and very foggy. Then check the skies in the western world, very clean and clear. You are supposed to know this by now that the air we breathe in Nigeria is very much polluted. |
