Wha' da fecking feck are you yapping? cheesycheesy

Mumu!

You see your life?

You just jump in and want to lecture ya granddaddy on the characteristics of a gentleman when you don't even know that it's unlike poles that attract each other, while like poles repel.

Mumu!
Am quoting u to let u know that I have seen your response and by your choice of words I will not join any issue with u as far as u choose those unruly words. I have never and will not bring myself on nairaland to indulge in profanity over civil culture. that u choose to use those harsh words is solely your choice I am unaffected.

Hehehehehe. .

The moment I log into Nairaland to post a comment, I purge myself totally of any gentlemanly traits if ever there was...on purpose! grin

Can't be all civil and proper in the real world and still come into the anonymity of the internet and still act same...where's the fun in that yo! gringrin
then u are not a gentleman because gentlemanliness is an innate quality that one develop whether somebody is looking at u or not. eg a gentleman cannot divulge privileged information about another man's family or discuss it without the man's authorization. another example a gentleman can never drink milk from the milk tin even if he is alone, he empties it into a cup or a drinking glass.

Ayam yet to meet a nigerian gentleman. Is like they are scarce
my dear I have met and is still meeting some perfect gentlemen in my association. However, I will not fail to mention that they are more in the older generation than in our own generation, I have more elderly friends though. Another side of it is that if u carry nobility within you u can't help but attract noble characters as the saying goes likes attract unlike repel. Try this experiment: if u long to treat people more courtesy and treat people in as noble a manner to the best of your ability you will not fail to meet true gentleman.

After all we humans have our flaws, and trust me i do have a lot of flaws
I still agree with u just that there are some things that only maturity arising from experiencing can teach every human being, and only what a human being have experienced can he actually call his own. When he experience life over the years he will come to terms with this his thread here. I believe if the poster is on a true path to inward maturity soon enough he will regret this thread.

This is not a drill, morale over high... am astonished. What is this, I mean I know say d average Igbo man can do anything once he's determined but I never imagined anything close to this. Chei nna come and see excess liver. If Nigeria fail to address this problem amicably by releasing that KANU then Nigeria leadership must be very very naive. This is the kind of spirit that Ojukwu's driver during the war that I was privileged to meet years back told me as a story that Biafrans were wielding during the earlier part of the war when even women were singing "ojukwu nye anyi mma na egbe ka anyi gbagbuo Gowon chelu ndi awusa" that is exactly the same thing I am seeing on that video. Do u want to tell me that if u SRM this crowd that Police and Army no go run? Nigeria should tread carefully o and release this guy.

Nairaland General › Hon Amechi Chibuike Described As A Goc(general Officer Commanding) by McTobe(op): 12:12pm On Nov 11, 2015
Hon Chibuike Amechi was described as GOC I.e General officer Commanding during the ministerial sworing in today by the commentators. The GOC may refer to his former office as GMB presidential campaign organization coordinator or to his ability to weather the stormy ministerial screening by the senate especially the hurdle by PDP senators. A title am sure the top guns in the military and retired military personnels especially General officers and other red necks will find derogatory to be used on a "bloody civilian" like Amechi as the military use to refer to non initiates of their profession, politics no politics. Political conservatives may finnd it rather overrating to call him a GOC though his fans will rather be happy that he is receiving another unofficial title added to his former "The lion" isn't this rather too much praise on a public servant that is suppose to be more of level headed. What is your take on this nairalanders

Two set of oats here, oat of allegiance and oat of office, how we like to duplicate things in Nigeria, where there is a conflict between the two oats they take I wonder the one that will take precedence; the oat of allegiance to the president or oat of office which is oat towards the constitution of federal Republic of Nigeria. I see all these as intellectual trifling

Let the Igbos go,if they don't go today they will go tomorrow, they truth is the bond is weak and the unity is pretentious.

An independent Yoruba,Hausa or Igbo is better of a camouflaged united Nigeria..

We are not happy together and we are too ambitious to admit it and break up to live a competative life separately...

I'm a Yoruba Muslim d I'm an ardent supporter of 3 Nigeria_North South East rather than one Nigeria ravaged with hatred and pretence...

Corruption, terrorism and discrimination is gross in Nigeria today bcoz nobody truly love the project Nigeria, that's why leaders are selfish and hunger is rampant

See Nigeria is like a little maize plant, planted by 3 farmers, each farmers has individu farm which they care for at the expense of the common maize plant they supposedly vowed to water and raise to fruitfuliness...

Let their be Hausa region,Yoruba region and Igbo region where each independedly exist and compete with own resources at own pace...

If you keep the igbos by force, they will frustrate the project Nigeria bcoz they are not happy and you naturally can't support what you dislike with passion
My brother, I wish u more wisdom. I take exception to my principle of declining comment when the matter is about secession of the Easterners from the rest of the country. If the Igbos are comfortable in Nigeria will they want to leave Nigeria? On the average who is even happy in this country called Nigeria? See the level of hatred between the three major tribes here on nairaland. The so called elites keep quiet over this IPOB issue because of their selfish interest. Before the coming of the colonialists with this secular state structure doesn't the Oyo empire exist side by side with the other empires, kingdoms and clans, was there this kind of hatred then? the answer is NO. I wonder why we cannot just relegate into a weaker center to enable the federating units harness themselves better in their area of comparative advantage. What is all these hate and suspicion. Better let each people go their own way if it is what will make them happier and more fulfilled as human being. left alone if Nigeria can break up into 36 countries I don't care once it will make the people happier and more at peace. The idea of the modern state is built on a wrong foundation same as this idea of western democracy. They are all as foreign as they sound. Our indigenous methods of governance & conflict resolution is superior. Let the people be happy again please. Give them their Biafra only this time not through War anymore and if Yoruba like let them also take their own independent state. why the forced Union.

If the Federal Government is too slow to strike a bargain, Nigeria may be dealing with something it can never defeat in future. This is no longer military regime where one dictator can do as he likes, this is no longer 1967 when these Biafrans where not fully exposed to world civilization and education. The most dangerous man is a determined man, one who can die for a cause. A word is enough for the wise.
Don't mind the mediocres we call our political class. instead of addressing a problem when it is still early they will be there yabbing themselves. the war in 1967 started as Police action, the rest of the story we know. We are so unfortunate in Nigeria that the worst set of people emerge as our political leaders but in that too there is the working of the perfection of the creative will of the Almighty

Igbo politicians are the richest yet no roads and infrastructure in the east. The city of Aba, Aro, Agulere has been dated back to 300 years of existence yet no development sign.

It's a call to build our nation
It's a call for everyone
Everyone who is Nigerian
Hear the sound so clear and loud
It's a call for transformation
And the time for change is NOW
Though our tribe and tongue may differ
We are still one and the same
With one hope, one heart, one future
With one cry, one love, one name
We have the power to change Nigeria
We alone can set us free
But it starts with transformation
Yes it starts with you and me
Nigeria, Our Father land
We can build this nation hand in hand
Let 's revive and let 's reform
Let 's rebuild and let 's restore
For we are the transformation
We are stronger than before
We have had our share of battles
We have moan our days of pain
But through it all, we've stayed together
In our hearts, our hopes, we made
We believe we can better
We can reach our destiny
Only when we are transformed
Can we reach our destiny
Nigeria, Our Father land
We can build this nation hand in hand
Let 's revive and let 's reform
Let 's rebuild and let 's restore
For we are the transformation
We are stronger than before.

@OP Grail Message is not based on religious mysticism as u said. U may do well to correct that impression in your own words to close that circle u have opened for yourself (if you understand what I mean). The Grail Movement and The Grail Message are purely two different things. Grail Movement in Nigeria is an organization of people that have read the Grail message and strive to live by the truth as contained in the book. Such people come together to tell other human beings of the work called the GRAIL MESSAGE authored by Abd Ru Shin through Public lectures, Book exhibitions, radio and TV programs amongst other avenues. Through the same organization the sealing is also performed on adherents of the Grail Message who request for it by one called for the purpose, also such adherents who request are permitted to wear the Grail cross(Grail cross and sealing are not the same). If you have examined the book and not just flipping through it you will not miss the fact that Grail Message rejects Mysticism. In its introductory Message "For your Guidance" the author also spelt out that he brought no new religion or sect. That there is an organized body called Grail Movement or Grail Message Foundation as they are called in the USA doesn't make it a religion please. There are also many adherent of the Grail Message who don't even make any contact with the Movement. having read through your response and answers to people I have no doubt that you know what makes an organization a religious body. I am sure you are on a the part to the maturity of your spirit and I have no doubt that if you remain in Ernest that the mercies and grace of the creator of all the worlds will lead you to the one true path to the luminous gardens of the matured human spirit. Wishing you love and strength.

the comparison is not logical. let me tell you why

The Pack FA is not deployed yet so why compare it to a plane that is already in service? US bombers have moved have beyond the B1. There is over a dozen B2 and a contract for B3 was awarded few weeks ago. Russia is yet to build a modern strategic bomber but that is not even the point. Russia have closed the air gap in the last decade but their doctrine should tell you they cant compete with USAF hence more investment in sophisticated SAMs.
well u have the right to your own opinion but saying that Russia can't compete with USAF is a fallacy and u know it. if we are to go by military hardwares Russians are better, since we the two sides have not been on a face on collision in a major war we can't judge for sure the morale of their fighting forces but as far as hardware is concern US will keep wondering.

pls sir I want you to compare by yourself the capabilities of the much talked US F35 with Russia su35. Its hard to admit but Russia war equipments are better and will beat US equipment both in comparative terms and in practice. place US best five stealth/ jet fighters and Russias' best five let's compare them here and now. The MiG-29 against the F16/F18, the SU35 against the F35, the “Sukhoi’s PAK FA against the f22, Tupolev Tu-160 strategic bombers against US B1-B Lancer bombers, even US know that the Russian guys are good. the fact is that we go through school being fed a lot of wonderful stuffs about the west with little or no truth about the east. however a honest objective analysis always show the west weaker than we can ever imagine. meanwhile I am waiting for the comparison of the above equipments by u

Leave them, they don't seem to realise the importance of aerial superiority in combat. When you can deploy fighter jets and all sort of fighter aircrafts from almost every part of ur enemy's territorial waters, that's true power.
take a look at this comparative analysis of US and Russia fighters. Sukhoi Su-27
The first on the list is Sukhoi Su-27
(NATO reporting name “Flanker”), an
exceptionally maneuverable
machine, one of the most agile
aircraft ever built. It is an extremely
nimble jet, which can be controlled
even at very low speeds and high
angles of attack. A Cobra
(Pugachev’s Cobra) – briefly
sustained level flight at a 120° angle
of attack – is a dramatic and very
demanding maneuver usually
demonstrated by Su-27
during airshows.

It was the Soviet’s answer to then-

internet website, was superior
in many respects. Even The National
Interest admits, it jumped ahead
of the F-16 and F/A-18 in terms
of speed, hitting 2,525 km/hour
(compared to the F-16’s 2,200 km/

The website Air Power of Australia
however gave advantage
in firepower, speed, raw agility,
range and manoeuvre performance
to Su-27, while comparing it
with The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. the Su27 have been upgraded to SU 35s

yes strategic advantage but not In comparative terms to the Russian armed forces. in strike force capability Russia equipments are better than that of USA, In counter values measures if Russia strike Territorial USA and US strike RUSSIA federation US will loose more. in Both countries posses first and second strike capabilities no doubt. the fact that USA hv bases proliferated all over the world doesn't make them any better than Russia in combat its just to maintain their hegemony. in how many of these Commands can they airlift to fight Russia effectively?

It not about the total amount spent on the military but the actual amount spent on weaponry; the United States overhead cost is 5 times of that of Russia while America spend over 100 million dollar to manufacture a military platform, the Russians manufacture the same if not better for 1/3 of the same price.

The United States is funding several wars all over the world one way or the order & they give military aids to several countries eg Israel, Egypt which amount to around 8 billion dollars not to talk of other countries & NATO while the Russians really give military aids and if they do, they are in millions not billions like the United States.

Another thing is that the United States have military bases in every region of the world & this require lots of money to maintain while the Russians have very few.

Let me say that there ain't much differences as per as what both Russia & the united States spend on their military If we factor all these together.
Good analysis just that u contradicted yourself in your conclusion. if US have military installations around the world like u said and Russia doesn't that is a simple conclusion that USA military budget is higher than Russia. Moreover one don't even need to be an expert in military study to know that US spend more in defence than Russia the following are US commands around every continent of the world
