PoliticsRe: Police IG, MD Abubakar In N4.7b Shares Scandal by MeAboki(m):
DerideGull: I known you can not strike a difference between an apple and orange. It is an act bordering on lack of human intellect to equate using police fund to engage in capital investment bound to produce profit to the fact of an agency purchasing an operational vehicles for a ministry of aviation that is not bound to accrue any dividend. Nigeria is indeed a waste of human endeavor.
How would you expect an intellectually challenged goro chewing Hausa man to know what an apple is, let alone the difference between it and an orange?

On the other hand, it is profoundly shocking and most embarrassing to observe the failure in a person with supposedly superior intelligence and exposure not to notice and appreciate obviously blatant SARCASM when he meets one.

What a pity, its evident that you must have been well tutored by Mr. Odechukwu himself.

BTW, in case you didn't notice, the 1st paragraph of my reply to was a deliberate example of sarcasm (just to coach you a little) so don't go about taking it literally - though it wouldn't surprise me if you still do, olodo rabata sad

Brimmie: Corruption Has Been Illegally Legalised In Nigeria, Just Dont Get Caught
It doesn't matter any more if you are caught, just as long as you are a known friend of the gov/ruling party you'll have immunity, worst that can happen is that they'll set up a fake committee to exonerate you or if found guilty the president is ever ready to give official pardon.
PoliticsRe: Police IG, MD Abubakar In N4.7b Shares Scandal by MeAboki(m): 4:16am On Dec 02, 2013
^^^^ Borrowing from Oduoh's defence, he probably would ask:
Were the shares bought in his personal name?
Was the money lodged into his personal account?
Since when did it became wrong to help subordinates invest for their future?
Shouldn't ppl be congratulating him for the improved police force with their smarter new uniforms?
Oduoh did it and got away with it so why is he being discriminated - is it because he is not Igbo and a Christian?

Anyway, should anyone dare call for his sack let them be ready to witness big demonstrations at Eagle Square by placard carrying Hausa - Fulani youths, handsomely paid N4,000 per head, crying genocide and marginalization threatening to take their case to the International Court of Human Rights, for this gross violation of their own son.
PropertiesRe: Construction Of A Self-Contained Room In Abuja With 300k In 8 Days (Pictures) by MeAboki(m): 9:46pm On Dec 01, 2013
I think OP's claim is believable, considering the room had no proper foundation, no pillars, used 6" blocks (not 9"wink, surface wiring (not conduit), Zinc roofing (not Aluminum), PCV ceiling limited only to main room (not in toilet or kitchen), cheap labour and project supervised directly by himself (did not contract anyone e.g QS or Arc) - other finishings e.g. tiles, WC, sink etc look like cheap china products.

My only concern is the lack of foundation; he should have started at least 1-2ft below the ground to give the structure the required stability, especially against attendant problem of shifting of the base ground due to rain - the floors could also be vulnerable to dampness caused by seepage.

Anyway, OP says he would be using the building for only a few months, so that's ok.
He should, however, not contemplate letting it out or allowing anyone use it afterwards because the building doesn't look safe enough to me.

^^^^^ What utter rubbish and nonsensical rambling.
Shebe mad dog bite you na him you come here dey froth in the mouth like person with rabies?

How on earth does the ban on sale and consumption of alcohol constitute to slavery?

BTW, the state was within its constitutional right to enact relevant laws for the common good of its people - it really doesn't matter whether you or anybody else disagrees - so long as the majority of the citizenry accept it then its ok.

FYI, the ban on alcohol was not promulgated under sharia but under a special edict through the state house of assembly; in same manner as any other state or the country would enact laws it deems fit e.g. ban on narcotics such as cocaine, heroin, Indian Hemp etc; Kano State just went a little further by adding alcohol on its list.

As for the VAT, well again it is within its constitutional right to accept its legitimate share of the proceeds; and why not, especially if there are parts of the country (who should know better but) foolish enough to preside over the general poisoning and aiding of the moral degradation of their people, thereafter deciding to celebrate it by sharing the booty with Kano State - well so be it; besides the are many non - Muslims in the state who are indirectly benefiting from that portion of the VAT booty.

Finally, its not by force, anybody who doesn't like the law is always at liberty to leave and return to his own backyard.

kingoflag: Proven Achievers how? Whats Kwankwaso's achievements? Please name ten.

In fact just name 5.

If this is the rubbish move APC is trying to pull I'll be the first to mobilize at least 150,000 online to make sure this rubbish is destroyed... if GEJ wins after so be it. We're talking about the twin devils of corruption and economic stagnation and youre here presenting 2 corrupt men to us. I sincerely hope this story is rubbish.
On the issue of achievement, I would not even bother responding to you because I may be biased; but like I had already said before, ask around or come to Kano and see for yourself.

On the issue of corruption, well I don't know about Fashola but I wouldn't necessarily agree that Kwankwaso is corrupt (at least not in his present tenure because if he was, certainly Johnny wouldn't have hesitated from setting EFCC onto him, a tactics he seems to be currently using to suppress the remain 2 dissenting govs ).

I also put it to you that Kwankwaso is by far a better option than the present clueless ogogoro addict, whose tenure so far has been marked one after the other by numerous milestones of scandalous corruption; imagine a person who publicly refused to declare his assets as required by law and who continues to appoint well established criminals into positions of trust in his government.

BTW, you can mobilize up to 500,000 online paid GEJ apologists to do his bidding, however, that would not take away from the fact he represents the worst head of state Nigeria has ever had, shamelessly ever wallowing in crudity and unveiled corruption; nor persuade Nigerians in a free and fair election (devoid of rigging) into voting back such camel-like dullard into Aso Rock.
PoliticsRe: APC Mulls Kwankwaso/ Fashola Ticket For 2015 Presidential Election by MeAboki(m): 9:31am On Nov 28, 2013
Will vote that ticket, both are proven achievers.
Kwankwaso is additionally fearless, dogged, focused, a no nonsense man who delivers; if he can continue doing what he is doing for Kano State at national level, then many skeptical Nigerians will eventually be hailing this man - those who don't believe, should ask or come to Kano and see for themselves.

PoliticsRe: Mysterious River Appears In Enugu Community [PHOTOS] by MeAboki(m): 11:42pm On Nov 27, 2013
DerideGull: I guess you are inherently blind you could not read the following parts of the article listed below:

“Origin of the River
Although there appears to be some elements of controversies surrounding the healing power of the River, the community is not divided on its origin.

The traditional ruler of Nachi community, His Royal Highness, Igwe F.O Onuigbo, Obi II of Nachi, told DailyPost at his palace that the mystery River was older than him.

Onuigbo, who spoke through his Lolo, because of his ill health, said “I used to pass through that area to attend school at Inyi-Achi in Oji River, in the early 40s. In those days, there is no water there, the only thing you see there is white sand. But once you get there and you are thirsty, all you need to do is to scratch the surface of the land and ask if for water, water will full your hand immediately if you are an upright person, but if you are evil, no water will come out. That has been the situation”.

Another octogenarian, Chief Festus Ude told our correspondent that “later, we noticed that after some years, the water will form a stream there and would disappear in few weeks. If such happens, we will be fetching water there. However, women who are menstruating and evil people don’t go there. We never heard about healing power of the River until this recent appearance of the River”.

The 80-year-old man continued that “the last time it appeared was in 1992, and at that time, it just formed a small stream, which later disappeared. It has never been as large as this. This is all I know, we have never known about its healing power, this is the first time we are hearing about healing, I don’t whether it is true, we equally heard it like you”.

It is only in your moronic world that 11th day of November 2013 becomes early 40s as stated by royal father of the community and 1992 according to another elder man from Nachi. I must state that your comprehensible ability is quite anemic, olodo.
Ehem, Mr. Comprehension, I put it to you that you are even a bigger fool than I thought.

First of all, the royal father you quoted categorically stated that there was actually no river there, apparently its only you who placed it there in the 40s.

Secondly, even if we are to accept Chief Festus account that the stream use to appear for short periods, the last being 21 yrs ago in 1992; you would agree that the lasted episode, triggered by the Fulani man, is by all accounts the first time ever the water was allegedly accredited with healing powers; that was the reason why I jokingly suggested that the man should be given some credit.

Thirdly, if you weren't so chronically stooopid you would still have noticed (as earlier mentioned) that it was only a joke - mumu, so you still haven't noticed the smileys, abi you no understand wetin smiley mean?

PoliticsRe: Electricity: New Owners Complain Of ‘overwhelming’ Problems by MeAboki(m): 10:44pm On Nov 27, 2013
I quite agree with this comment from the Kano Managing Director concerning the poor allocation to the State:

"The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Kano
Distribution Company, Dr. Jamili Gwamna, said power
allocation to his Disco had been far below expectation,
a development that had decreased the firm’s
revenue “drastically.” He said, “Our power allocation has been low in
recent times. So how on earth will customers pay me
and how will I pay money also? There has not been
power and when you threaten to disconnect
consumers, they tell you to hurry up with the
disconnection process.”

In fact I was surprised to come across a recent thread in which some ppl in Portharcourt were celebrating 24/7 power supply and was left wondering whether we are in fact sharing the same country and also what may be the national distribution formula/criteria; because most places in the Kano hardly get any light at all, leading to the unfortunate collapse of many of the industries - some are even suggesting it could be deliberate

DerideGull: Are you a dunce? How could you credit a Fulani herdsman when the stream is known in the community?
Lordy! oh lordy! oh my!
I bet all you did was zero on the key words, 'Aboki' and 'Fulani', in my handle and post respectively without fully reading the article before rushing to insult, though I am not surprised at all (we all know the motivation behind your insult).

It obviously didn't occur to you to read this part of the article:

How it all Began
Enquiries by DailyPost showed that it all started on the 11th day of November 2013. According to community sources, a Fulani herdsman ran to the community and announced how water covered the place just few minutes after he passed.

“He told us that he passed that place with his herd of cattle and soon after, heard a strange noise; when he turned back, he discovered that a big stream has appeared at the same place he just passed with his cattle. At that point, he ran to Garki and informed his relatives, who also came there and discovered that the water had healing power. From that point, the news spread to the community”, a source disclosed.

BTW, my post was intended to be a joke rather than serious; but of course you are too stupid to notice the humor nor the attached smileys.

Now go ahead and clap for yourself for displaying your woeful lack of comprehension - Big Fool, Olodo Rabataangry

@ rigormortis

You continue making a lot of sense in your posts as I had also been an ardent upholder of your position until recently.

Its a pity that the minds of our youths have been taken away from them and replaced with backward rigid ones, set in tribalism and religious bigotry, to the extent that they lend themselves incapable of independent thinking and the willing tools of our corrupt politicians, resulting in the divisive quagmire that we find ourselves today.

Unfortunately, it seems there is nothing you and I or anybody can do to change such negative mindset, as the rot appears to have already set in.

Being on the receiving end of continuous bigotry and bashing has taken its toll on me, I dare say that my heart has also become filled with resentment; that I no longer feel any desire to share the same nationality with some ppl and have instead become a firm believer of disintegration, because the concept of one Nigeria seems to have been dealt a cruel death.

I now look forward towards a new beginning, an Arewa Republic for me and my ppl (in any of its possible ramification) because such eventual possibility holds better promise than in the present unhappy unity.

Don't get me wrong, a unified Nigeria free of corruption is by far the best option; unfortunately that dream is now, however, too late due to the problem of inertia in our youths for positive change - as you correctly mentioned, may God help us all.

linuxuser: I will think its you people that needs your Allah. Please can you tell us how christians has been intolerant to muslim? Please give us few instances where christains have killed and maimed muslims. How many places in the entire world did you also know of christians carrying suicide bombs. Think again my friend. How many times in nigeria has christian went on rampage destroyinh mosques. You know the truth that your islam is a cult that stands for nothing but violence.
From time immemorial to date, Christians have killed and maimed more humanity than Muslims, however Christians have control of major world media outlets and so have been able to successfully manipulate perception of their atrocities at the expense of Islam, for example:
Christians had demonstrated ability the most deadly weapon of mass destruction (Atom Bomb) and had been the first and only ones to use it against human beings.
Adolf Hitler was one of world's cruelest dictators responsible for killing millions of lives.
Christians have created the most cruelest of devices for killing humans and are currently leaders in manufacture and sale of weapons used in ongoing wars responsible yet more deaths.
The involvement of the Americans alone, destabilizing countries of Asia & Middle East, is causing far more loss of human lives than all the terrorism attributable to Muslims put together; because American bombings by cruise missiles, planes and drones are killing more innocent civilians than targeted terrorists, which christian dominated world press suppresses through selective reporting and deliberated use of water-down less offensives phrases, such as collateral damage.

On the Nigerian front, there have been well reported cases of Christians attacking Muslims and burning of Mosques, as well as Christians pretending to be Muslims attempting to bomb churches in order to incriminate Muslims/Islam; notable among them was the case of Christian Biroms attacking and killing innocent Muslims while in prayer on Sallah day and roasting and cannibalizing on them.
