does this mean that local flights can Still take off? I need a flight for tomorrow morning |
the salon is in gwarinpa. don't have the physical address off the top of my head |
not to derail the thread mavin but what does my location or signature have to do with anything?. i read Dreams post and understood it very well. Heck a couple other people read and understood it as well it was pretty straight forward. And u just made an assumption based on the fact that she mentioned another company she used 5 times in the past but had a bad experience the 5th time she used it. is she not allowed to try out other companies or she's expected to be a loyalist to only one company even if she had a bad experience with them? jeez!! anyway back to the topic at hand. |
if ure a natural based in Abuja there's a deal on dealdey for a natural hair salon. I've gone there once and she's pretty knowledgeable and really good. The first hair salon I felt comfortable at. p.s. I don't work there just wanted to let natural heads know that We finally have a place to visit. |

Three layer chocolate cake with ganache filling and swiss meringue BC. Still need to work on my handwriting
|
Dreams so they don't ship to Abuja? |
awesome!! thanks for the info. |
^^ Yield has said everything. there are home made treatments u can make and the ingredients are readily available. the Mayonnaise treatment is a good deep conditioner, add 1 egg yolk, some honey and olive and u have a deep protein conditioner treatment. for deep moisturizing treatment try Shea butter, honey, oil (olive or coconut) and any cheap conditioner u have mix them up and apply to hair. let it sit for a while and rinse. I use the treatment above for my hair as well as black soap for my shampoo. its less drying for the hair. twisting or braiding the hair after sealing in moisture is usually the best way to lock in moisture. wish u good luck on ure journey. p.s. Yield completely in love with ure yarn braids. u did an awesome job. |
^^ thanks for your candid review. I would definitely try them out. but yeah that shipping outside Lagos clause has to be revised. I'm based in Abuja and wouldn't want that additional hassle |

if op can't speak Esan isn't it up to the father to teach the child? again this shud not be an issue. ure son is very lucky to have u both as parents with Ur diverse and rich culture. picking up both languages is a huge plus not now but down the road. as a matter of fact expose him to more languages and see which one he picks up first. we are in age where the more language u speak the better. Ur son can go places just based on the languages he can speak. please I beg u don't let this matter escalate. I'm sure u guys are well educated and realize that this world is changing and getting smaller. u want the best for Ur little man start now by building his future |
madam ure the primary caregiver. Unless ure husband has CCTV around u, I think ure making a mountain out of a molehill. If ure hubby wants his son to learn Esan first then its his responsibity to teach him since u don't speak the language. which means more involvement in his son's life. Why are u making this an issue? agree not to speak Yoruba to ure son and move along to more important issues. |
what brand of cocoa powder do u sell? |
http://pencilkitchen..com.au/2012/08/milo-pound-brownie-cake.html#more here's a recipe I found online for Milo brownie pound cake. sound delicious, I'm definitely going to try it. |
then as one poster said, the guy is just stressed with work and marriage planning. I'm just concerned about the fact that he needed to involve his momma in something so trivial. u guys need a heart to heart convo before the wedding. maybe this is a blessing in disguise. use the opportunity wisely. |
its a common mistake we make, refusing to teach kids how to speak their native tongue. I left naija and for 10 years I neva spoke more than two words of Igbo. the first day I came back to naija and saw my dad, I automatically began speaking Igbo. it flowed out naturally. people who know me cud not believe I still remembered how to speak Igbo. we have a culture and many are ashamed of it, while others are fighting tooth and nail to uncover there's. I don't know as much about my culture but everyday I try to learn something new. |
I was going through a journal article for my assignment and saw a citation from Nairaland based on a comment from a poster made in 2008. Nairaland has done it again -a widely recognized source of public opinion in Nigeria. If you have access to journals you can check it out. The name of the article is Intimate partner violence among immigrant Nigerian women in the United States: An analysis of internet commentaries on the murders of nine Nigerian women by their male spouses by Anita Kalunta-Crumpton (2013) That's all folks now back to my reading ![]() |
