Hello Everyone, I am a Nigerian who recently moved to Croatia. I am surprised that I can hardly find any Nigerians, even Africans. It is a shame because Croatia is a nation thriving with steady growth in economics, boom infrastructure, and tourism. I am surprised there are any Nigerians coming to work here. Whenever I take a walk on the streets, it is full of Nepali and Indian nationals working in construction companies, bakers, cleaners, wolts, and other important sections where local nationals won't want to work. There are a lot of jobs here. The minimum wage here is 840–1000 euros. They have a very good health section and a beautiful seaside, which I think is the best in Europe. I haven't experienced any racism and the people are friendly, and mostly the women are very beautiful and they love black men. I will guide you on how to apply for a job in Croatia.

First, create a very good CV and create an account with Moj-posao.net. You need to translate the page because it is in Croatian. Click job for jobs for foreign workers in Croatia. https://www.moj-posao.net/HR/Izdvojeno/International/Foreign-Workers-Jobs-Croatia/   Start applying immediately. Please continue applying. Don't sleep or rest. another website for hiring foreigner https://brightfuture.hr/looking-for-a-job/ There are a lot of jobs for foreigners.

If you finally get a job, the Croatian Embassy visa application is handled by VFS Croatia in Abuja. It was straight-forward. High rate for visa approval for job applications. If you intend to study in Croatia, which is likely the easiest. Aspira University College in Split and Zagreb campuses is your best option. They offer a program in English with very cheap tuition fees. Study visa is straight-forward and easier. Please ask me any questions here. Please, nobody should DM me; I won't respond. We need very good Nigerian in Croatia. Croatians want foreigners who are likely to integrate very well into society. Learning Croatian is very important. Good luck.
@Lynoverse @charmingsamson @Eky29 and all please help, I'm having a challenge with my application.
My school isn't providing accommodation, kindly advise on how to get cheap accommodation for the purpose of visa application.

I don't know if the OP went via study visa, I am at the point of submission but I need clarity on the type of visa to apply for.

University of Zagreb is not providing sufficient information regarding visa.

But based on my research, 5K Euro is enough for POF aside your tuition

Yes, you need accommodations. I think your school can provide temporary accommodations so you can apply for the visa. It is also important that your health insurance and bank statement are legit because the Croatian Embassy in South Africa investigates everything. It's best to apply in May or June. Good luck.
Thank you for your response, I'll definitely use genuine documents.

Like how much can I have in my bank balance.

Can I use regular travel insurance or I should do student insurance.

Am I to apply for the Schengen type C visa or type D long term visa?

Thank you.

Pos business and gas business are something you don’t need to be worried about in an environment where prices keep going up. People will always fill gas in order so that they can cook and people will always prefer to use the services of POS rather than going all the way to bank which could cost them a lots more money (transport fare). So it easy to adjust prices.

One just has to set up this in an area where there are not too much people already doing this, cause it a commodity business. Establishing it in a place where there are a lots of people who have setup something like this will affect sales, if you manage to see one at all.. One will definitely find it hard to sell.

Once you can find a street where you are the first to do this, it would be great. The people there would have know you and feels comfortable dealing with you, when other competitors start coming in, which they will, you don’t have to be really worried. Yes! They will steal a part of your share but You will continue to control the biggest market share in that region.

Less than 1, 000,000 willl set up this and one will make his/her money back in less than 1 year and half.
By the way, he didn't ask for business idea.

BusinessNigerian Customs New E-auctiom Website Allegedly Compromised by mediafada(op): 12:20pm On Feb 13, 2024
I am writing to urgently bring to your attention the concerning issues surrounding the functionality and integrity of the eauction website, purportedly operated by the Nigerian Customs. My attempts to register on the platform have been met with persistent obstacles, raising serious doubts about its legitimacy and security.

Despite diligently following the stated requirements, including activating my Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and registering it on Tax Pro Max, as instructed, I have encountered insurmountable difficulties. Repeated notifications claiming that my TIN is already in use have prevented me from completing the registration process. Furthermore, attempts to reset my password have been futile, with the system indicating that my email is not registered, despite being the primary means of verification linked to my TIN.

These issues are not isolated incidents. Both my friend and brother have experienced identical challenges when attempting to register on the eauction website. Such consistent roadblocks call into question the transparency and fairness of the registration process, and raise alarming concerns about the website's functionality and legitimacy.

Compounding the matter, my efforts to seek assistance through the contact number provided on the website have been in vain. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to reach anyone for guidance or resolution. Additionally, I have sent emails twice to the addresses associated with the website, but have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment.

Given the mandatory requirement of access to the email linked to the TIN, it is implausible for another individual to utilize the TIN without access to the associated email. This discrepancy underscores the urgent need for a thorough investigation into the processes and safeguards in place on the eauction website.

In light of these pressing concerns, I implore the relevant authorities to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the operations of the eauction website. Transparency, fairness, and security must be upheld in all dealings facilitated through government-operated platforms. As citizens, we demand reassurance that our interactions with such platforms are conducted with the utmost integrity and accountability.

I urge prompt action to rectify the issues plaguing the eauction website and restore public confidence in its operations. Failure to address these concerns promptly risks undermining the trust of the general public in the integrity of government-administered services.

If you're experiencing same issues, kindly share your experiences.

Hello everyone and gurus in the house,

Recently, my neighbor has made false and serious allegations against me, and has gone as far as making explicit threats of physical harm. This, along with defamatory remarks, has created a disruptive and distressing environment for me.

I believe it's essential to address this matter appropriately and seek advice on the best course of action. If anyone has experience or knowledge in handling such situations, especially regarding defamation, I would greatly appreciate any guidance or insights you can provide.

Feel free to share any relevant tips, resources, or steps I could take to protect my rights, counter defamation, and navigate through this challenging circumstance. Additionally, if you need more details to better understand the situation, please let me know.

Thank you all in advance for your support and advice.

Lol. Many times? JI?
How many times please?
He contested just only once under the aegis of ANPP.
He returned as a mole in PDP during Aketi's election where he caused two factions in PDP to enable APC to win.
Few days to election he decamped and announced his support for Aketi of APC.
He was the only reason APC was able to take over the state.

How many times has he contested as you claimed?
Don't claim what you don't know, Jimoh Ibrahim was a regular customer for Ondo guber elections, himself and Ademola Adegoroye were the sure faces.
Jimoh has been contesting since 2003.
PoliticsThe Big Shoes Of Boye Adegbemisoye: Who can step in? by mediafada(op):
The path threaded by an elephant is certainly a big vacuum in the forest.

The name Boye in the political history of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo has been written with gold pen, not because he was once a chairman but because he surpassed the people's expectations of him.

At the time when little or nothing were expected from the local government, the time when we were made to beleive that there was no money in the LGA, that same time when LGA's has no demand from its people, he came.

Having emerged, legendary Boye converted the place to construction sites, roads, bridges, houses. Who would imagine that Lota Road would be motorable? Boye dared the unexpected, opening doors for expansion and more development.

Would you have imagined old people being payed monthly (I am not talking about trader money-like campaign strategies) Boye, like its being done in the advanced countries became responsible for the aged, what the state and federal government could not attempt.

Infrastructures, welfare, rural development among others made us more inquisitive.
We started questioning, where are all these projects coming from? Is there really money in the LGA? .......

Boye indeed got his second chance without hassle, it was indeed a well-deserved chance, guess what, he still never dissapoint, and now years after his tenure, his works still speak.

The tempo of the development was twarted by His Excellency, Olusegun Mimiko, who I reffer to as "One-man convoy". Mimiko single-handedly managed the affairs of the state and 18 LGAs, trampling on the people's right to choose their leaders, appointing best of his loyalist mediocres to help mismange the resources of the LGAs and for another 8 years, our local government went back to stone-age in terms of development.

Now another time is here, my main prayer is that the 18th day of April 2020 will be a remarkable day, I earnestly pray that a credible, free, fair and transparent election eventually holds.

Now its time, the spirit of development must be re-awakened, an agent of transformation, loaded with ideas and surrounded with great people must take over. enough of kill and divide, we must say NO to government of excuses, no chance for visionless and purposeless groups. We cannot endure another 4 years of excuse and comparison with the 16 years of PDP.

I challenge the great people of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo LGA to embrace our God-given Moses, Pastor Akintomide Ebenezer of AAC.
He has consistently affected people's lives even in his little capacity, his love for his town gave birth to Oijefon TV and her accompanying developments, ICY football competition shows his generousity even in his little, dozens of people living with him shows his passion for others, several children enjoying partial and full scholarship says it all.

The founder of Designers Principles, president of Voice international ministeries, proprietor of low-tution JOTAM schools, Director of Oijefon Radiovision had affected lives positively in all his platforms, employed labours, brought about developments. He surely deserves more.

For sustainable development of our dear LGA, let's support Pastor Akintomide Ebenezer of African Action Congress (AAC) as chairman, IOLG.
