Opiletool: I did one of a Benin man last week too. Got a 5 because his English was clear like a typical African trying to be careful not to make a mistake. Searched him on the internet in order to get correct spelling of his name, then I discovered he's been in the state for very long, yet he still speaks typical Nigerian english(in terms of speed). And one mumu girl go dey blow Amerinaija grammar because she study English for university. Despite sey she never even enter Benin Republic for her life. Hahaha.

Those people calculate and budget rigorously to even see change send give their people for Nigeria. Still yet some family go still complain and complain they shout say my uncle is abroad my aunty is abroad. Nah so abroad easy nah. I tell you, e no even easy that side ooo. |

I transcribed a call yesterday that the customer is a Nigerian, Igbo woman precisely. The son seems to be an extravagant person, so the mum was telling the rep to also include her email or phone number, so she can be getting update as well. She said she wants to teach the son how to be responsible. The woman was just tearing Igbo any how with the son while the call was going on. "Chukwuma, bia denye email address gi nga" was one of the conversations. Working with QA can be real fun sometimes. . The call was supposed to be 11.3 minutes, but the actual valid conversation lasted just for 8.4 minutes. The remaining part of the call was left for the son and mum to speak in the background. |

Estringx: Guys, I have one prayer point for you guys. Pray that SCC {29} doesn't rate your call. Either you get 2 or 3. The note on it is always: Wrong format for numbers below 10. So you too dey complain about a rater huh? Professor emeritus of QA . What about this This is a big lie. Tell us what exactly what you did wrong. You won't get better with this "your self justification".

wisewordd: Omo that rater with number "thirty" no be here oh. Just because of "this" instead of "so" wey still go with the sentence for fc uk of over 20min, na one straight oh. That person is really stupid and wicked, honestly. That was how he/she rated me 2 on a call I know I worked on very well. He listed all those blah blah blah that he/she normally list's, but out of annoyance, I just resubmitted the call with no changes made (I was like anything wey e go be make im be). But surprisingly, another person rated the call and gave me 5. That sucker dey spoil things for person. |

PattyMike: QA slack is going nuts. They just gave themselves unnecessary headache with this new beta platform. Now because of complains they've removed the timestamp again and taken it back to normal. So many different problems mehn it's overwhelming the SCC are doing incredible work. E be like say I go forget this Silver badge copy that other guy wey open another QA account. The risk is just too much I might or might not end up in the old platform. There is nothing too special about that silver badge though. I entered the badge last week and what I've noticed is that I now have too many Fc UK calls on my queue and I get quality rating warning every now and then. |

PattyMike: It's not the rater. Take a quick glance at the failed script you'd see that a very large portion of it was submitted as untouched like 60% of wetin you transcribe o. If I had known I would have just suspended transcribing calls for today. They have crashed my rating drastically. I just hope they don't boot me out. |

SUPERPACK: Yesterday and today have been funny on Qa world, everybody is complaining about 1 auto error or the other. Even a whole PAU C is complaining too, I even saw her asking for call clarification, this is the height of the current problem. Pls it seems it will be best to take a two days break, I no fit shout abeg. @Nwafresh take heart but Qa have run mad and even Erlen is confused too. . The redo courtesy is gone guys. This is what Team manager said: I'm sorry but since it would have been submitted by someone else already, we can't expedite a re-do, Jude.
I understand the frustration of one inverted speaker label but that's our rule that it will be rated a 1.
We are considering removing the re-do option altogether. I will likely be requesting for it so that there will be no further complications and frustrations of varying levels.
Everyone will just have to make sure to work on their transcript the best they can each time and not be reliant on the re-do courtesy. . Las, las Jungle don mature, Both the lions and the lizard have to eat or be eaten. A stupid call rater is currently on the loose, run for your life . I swear, jungle Don really mature for us newbies ooo. And this is coming now that one SCC tricked me into transcribing 2 rep to rep calls. They said if the call is about one rep calling on behalf of a customer, it should be transcribed. So, after transcribing the call, lo and behold I got two straight 1. When I contacted the SCC again, she started describing another thing altogether. Now they have crashed my Last 10 calls rating from 4.3 to 3.1. We will survive sha, na Nigerians we be. |

PattyMike: i have reported on slack. They said the issue is currently under investigation cus other transcribers have complained as well and she'll get back to me. they just spoil my rating for me. Now i dey fear to touch another call sef Exactly. It's like I will take a break for now too. I did a call this morning and after completing the call, I was unable to submit. I contacted one of the SCC but she said the fault is not from their end. The call just expired like that. |

PattyMike: I saw this on both failed scripts. as if i didnt touch the call at all. i hate cheating for my life. if i fail i go know say i fail make correction and learn but this is not fair at all. I saw similar complaints on slack this morning too. The lady said she edited everything, but after review she got 1. And when she checked her transcript, it was returned exactly as it was generated by the auto transcript. |
