Nothing but the truth. IPOB terrorist, thugs, hoodlums, Gboys, will argue otherwise you people live thousands of kilometers away and know nothing about the situation. Cho, cho cho putting mouth everywhere. Maybe you will understand this verse "Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? . . . Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it."

Shoo! Out
You are now giving the vulture something to feast on.

Vultures normally come here, fly around, make noise and fly away.

Deny them food and they fight over scraps (like they have been doing for about 3 pages).... and leave.

They only stay when they see food.

Like Jews and Tutsis you Igbo are addicted to self serving myths and fail to acknowledge the chaos you create. Btw, I've seen this mentality IRL with your boys in Nairobi. ACTUALLY, I wish you'd take on FG forces again! Hopefully, Kanu will lead from the front and won't flee like that other hubristic swindler, Ojukwu hypocritically encouraging his followers to fight on.
I am igbo and am INSULTED BY WHAT YOU WROTE HERE. If you have issues with some Igbos, deal with it. Dont you leave your Kenya and come to a Nigerian forum to spill such. BTW you owe MILLIONS of Igbos whom you HAVE NEVER MET an apology for this your UNNECESSARY STEREOTYPING

The witch of Myanmar is gone!!!!
This coup is a living example of the saying....... “ THE CANE USED TO BEAT THE FIRST WIFE IS ALWAYS KEPT IN THE CUPBOARD TO WAIT THE TURN OF THE SECOND WIFE".

She used activism to deceive the whole world into supporting her presidency only to turn into a SHE-DEVIL and use her military to commit genocide against the Rohingya people.

I bet back then, she didn't know that the snakes she was sending to eat eggs also eat rats like her.

Long live Myanmar's military !!!!!!

How about Lake Chad axis? If that place is not cleared out and the big Islands occupied, then I don't see this ending any time soon.
The same thoughts ran through my head. However, i think this operation to clear the forest areas is the more difficult of the two and should be done first.

The navies lake Chad countries of the MNJTF can do their mop up clearance after the boko asses have been softened by artillery and air bombardment...... Island by island.

Seems like an odd purchase.
Which is why I feel the manufacturers greased elbows somewhere for this kind of unnecessary purchase to fly. Even if they were donated, This ranks In the same scale as the purchase of LAVs from South Korea.

The LAVs produced by DICON and PROFORCE are no different from this so why look for something in your pocket in another mans bag?

Always ranting about how many local governments they control. Any smart person will see that large chunks of Borno and some parts of Adamawa are even more terrorized now than before.
Its obvious that they have changed strategy from holding local government areas to holding enclaves and spreading their terror and fear from there.

Nigerian Army fields Isotrex armoured vehicles

The Nigerian Army is now using Isotrex Phantom 2 armoured personnel carriers (APCs), images released on Nigerian social media have revealed.

https://www.janes.com/defence-news/nigerian-army-fields-isotrex-armoured-vehicles/
Personally not happy with this purchase.
Even if it's ONLY ARA and EZUGWU that are made in country, I would rather all vehicles of this category be sourced here.
When you consider that the cost of the vehicle and the shipping might be more than that of home made vehicles, you wonder.

However, anything that reduces the number of soldiers that will be lost to soft skins is welcome

Are the countless real life documentaries from the second world war to date Hollywood movies too? Fachfouch raised SOME valid points
You cant watch those documentaries from the world wars till date and you say you NEVER came across ANY instance of am army unit from the victoriius side being shitty on the battlefield.

His POINT I kick against is his sharing a 22 second video of men under fire in which some individuals were trying to get them organized and using it as a yardstick to measure the way the WHOLE ARMY fights.

Do we need to change the way we are fighting the war?yes.
Are we doing so? Yes.
Is the progress the way I want?No
Can we do better? Yes.
Is that 22 seconds video a reflection of the way the army fights? No.
Foreign AffairsRe: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by mekussa(m): 12:53pm On Jan 15, 2021
fachfouch:
No one is talking about Hollywood fighting and yes a single brigade... a single soldier should represent the entire army we're talking here equipment, uniforms and even how they behave in this video... if you don't see a problem here than you really should reconsider... this clip do prove how inefficient the war has been and prove the losses even when you win a battle it does cost you a lot of unnecessary lives and generally the situation in Nigeria does not prove to be well handled at all... they are still struggling with ISIS a lot.
you're talking like there are 2 ways of fighting the what you call "Hollywood" style and this -_- so how the US army is fighting like this ? how the French are fighting ? how the Russians are fighting ? how did the Iraqis win over ISIS ? I don't think they used the Hollywood style or the Nigerian style they acted as an organized well trained militaries not like this in fact in order to win over ISIS the Iraqis changed there plans and fired a lot of there useless generals and formed and trained with the US new units and bought new equipment in order to reclaim there lands because this style of fighting expectedly proved stupid and useless and made the army collapse in front of a militias.
So you mean that in these armies you mentioned no unit EVER fought like was shown in the video?
You also mean the video is a GENERAL reflecion of how the Nigerian army fights(such that they need to be restructured)?
You mean ALL soldiers act 100% the way they are trained to act under fire?

You were the one that shared a link to a 22 second video and inferred by your comments that that was how the NIGERIAN ARMY as a whole was fighting ISWAP which has made them not win the war yet. FOR F--,KS SAKE ..... A 22 SECOND VIDEO !!!!!

If the ONLY point you got from my post was that there was nothing wrong,I just have to salute you and leave it at that.
Foreign AffairsRe: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by mekussa(m): 12:05pm On Jan 15, 2021
fachfouch:

honestly Nigeria have to rebuild and restructure its army this is very bad... this is not how you fight in a war...
This clip shows how the NIGERIAN ARMY in its entirety fights?

This Twenty- something second clip helped you conclude that the WHOLE army needs rebuilding and restructuring?

Even in the movies you don't see teams where everyone is calm and calculated under fire not to talk of real life.

Show me an army that doesn't have this kind of reaction from its men under fire and I'll show you an army that's not fighting a war.

BTW, since they were judged on a less than 30 second clip, can you tell us who won? The fact that the clip made it out shows they survived and if they survived. It means the boko boiz didn't.

I'LL TAKE THIS KIND OF FIGHTING AND THE ASSOCIATED VICTORY 10 TIMES A DAY over Hollywood standard fighting with losses.

BH two days ago took one of my favourite Monguno public transport driver named "One More" with his golf car into the bush.

This is one guy I so trust and ensured it was only I used every weekend during my 17 Months stay in Monguno as I really don't trust other drivers that are sympathetic to BH activities.

Infact there was a time BH held him and some drivers last year, when BH wanted to take two of our colleagues into the bush he told BH that the guys are not humanitarians, but Keke Napep mechanics.

"One More" I pray you come out alive embarassed

Infact between December and January over 10 golf cars have been taken by BH on Monguno road with the drivers into the Bushes.
Seems like they are building an array of vehicle laden IEDs. Maybe to try assaulting somewhere or.... in preparation for the upcoming military assault on their positions

I agree with your comments the Challenge for PROFORCE is to look at the vacuums that exist and see how they can exploit it. What I see is a Nigerian Made Infantry fighting Vehicle ( IFV) capable of carrying 12 troops over difficult uneven terrain in a short amount of time with a Remote Control weapons System ( RCWS) .Whomever does this gets rid of the widely detested Thin skinned Hilux vehicles. The challenge is :cost, armor protection ,reliability in battle and convincing GOVT to buy into it.
Convincing govt to buy it is my big fear here. It doesn't help that the private sector spends resources to develop equipment for the military only for the military to start producing those same equipment themselves.
If the few defence companies in Nigeria had FIRM COMMITMENT TO BUY(the final product, not prototypes) and in reasonable quantities. I feel they will outdo themselves in a bid to deliver.
The era of military built vehicles, bullet proof vests, helmets, ceremonial swords etc should be behind us. They should be giving out the required specs, throw out an open bid,evaluating/testing the end products and buying in the required quantities

DIA won't be stup!d to use open source OSINT, but the amount they budgeted is criminally outrageous, to believe a group of over paid comedians called Senators reviewed that budget is Satanic to say the least.
OSINT is used by intelligence agencies across the globe so, its not a bad thing. The amount budgeted (about 3 million dollars) is my issue here. I feel people are about to cash out with this. Even the senators you mentioned MIGHT get a cut too if they play nice

E shock you ba?
I think they even wrote OSINT instead of the full meaning to confuse some poor desk pusher in charge of appropriations.

A LOT OF THESE OPEN SOURCE INTELLIGENCE SOFTWARE/PROGRAMMES(OSINT) ARE ACTUALLY FREE.

MALTEGO is one of the few available where you have to pay and like you said its ONLY 40K for the server version PLUS TRAINING.

Someone in DIA has made a hit.
