Good one but..... With the new platform, all my previously registered businesses are no more available on my dashboard |
GOOD DAY ALL, is there any known reason why there have been difficulties with the stage of the application process that has to do with uploading of documents for online screening.i have been trying to upload my documents since Wednesday to no success. the page always remains at the page where i enter my RRR code. even after entering and clicking, nothing happens, i am still at that page. i initially thought it was a Christmas/new Year holiday issue with the site but i have been trying since morning today to no avail. Please is there anyone that can give us(myself and other applicants) an idea of whats happening. Abi na so NOUN site dey do? |
You didn't get the actual crux of that debate. That individual was saying drones should be used to target foot soldiers. That's not the best method of employment of UCAVs. What Turkey has done in this conflict, there's no proof to show Azerbaijani are the ones conducting these drone strikes, is that they have used the drones to target armour, SEAD missions and large grouping of soldiers. That's how Drones are used. Also note, Drones are slow moving aircrafts, they can be targeted easily by more modern air defence systems. We've seen this in Syria, Libya and now Armenia. We need to have a mix of highly capable offensive systems. If we add the 8 UCAVs which we just procured, plus the 4 units previously in service we would have a good mix of offensive assets for LICW environment.[/quote You have a point. I made the comment strictly with regards to using drones against their trucks which they use to mount their AA guns as well as transport their footsoldiers. An army that can't move, can't fight. Using them this way gives us an advantage IMO. . However, I acknowledge the fact that buying these foreign drones opens up our behind and exposes us to silly sanctions from every tom, dick and harry. The solution (though long term), lies in domestic production..... The military REALLY needs to allow private production under strict supervision, the private sector has the ability to think outside the box and meet up the STRICT parameters a serious military would give them. My two kobo sha. |
quote author=lebuhsi post=95841261] I think you forget very quick that this is conventional warfare
I never forgot it not a conventional war. However, I don't think Boko boys would be so quick to confidently mobilize themselves and drive in a convoy of 10,15,20 or 30 cars to attempt an attack on an army base, outpost, super camp or any town if they knew that the possibility of their getting their behinds kicked on short notice exists. The drone function I envisiage is for taking out the trucks while boots on ground do the mop up. Drones don't need the conventional length of runway to take off or land, they also have a good loiter time which means its possible for attack and reconnaissance drones to be assigned to super camps in the field and deployed immediately info on an approaching convoy is sighted instead of waiting for support from the nearest airport. They can also sight an ambush and do some damage. |
They say action speaks louder than words. I remember how we shouted down someone on this thread who was advocating for the massive use of drones in the N.E. Look at the damage done by drones in Armenia. This happened in a space of months. I don't think BOKO BOYS would survive if they got this level of damage. They don't have to be Turkish, Chinese attack drones would do. |
Still scratching my head and smelling my ass to see or hear the offending statement here |
shadowprimezero:Ethiopia and Rwanda...... Countries ruled by STRONGMEN masquerading as democrats. I knew the Ethiopian prime minister was not going to comfortably share power with any party. It might not lead to civil war though. The military of Ethiopia has lots of experience with BRUTAL SUPPRESSION of dissenting voices. |
bidexiii:The SUDANESE Military Industry Corporation is surprisingly advanced. Their product range is nice. Tanks, field radios, ITV's, howitzers, bullets, anti tank guns, sniper rifles....... Though most of their products are copies of originals, it makes a lot of sense. Good template for DICON to copy too. |
Tobiloba2407:I tell you. But, if na only laugh all of them for heaven dey laugh us na im be say dem wicked. At least dem for dey laugh and pity us at the same time nah. See SWAT team that was selected from MOBILE POLICE units being taught how to handle guns and aerobics(dat thing no be martial arts at all).I really rushed to YouTube to see one ghen ghen video only for my eyes to start paining Mr and shame to start catching me. You then wonder what's been going on in all those police training institutions. |
youghs:The police minister should have just sat his ass in Abuja instead of going all the way to Nassarawa state with a full complement of pressmen to embarrass themselves. They should have at least stayed away for like two months make them learn other things before camera show. |
jpphilips:Hahahaha..... Dude please stop here, my stomach is paining me. |
Appisko:You , your FISH BRAIN and your INFERIORITY COMPLEX |
I like the fact that the blocks are 100% produced on site.@least you are sure of the quality. |
kabe1:In the second pic, is that a SOLAR PANEL on the bonnet? Are there ‘MILITARY GRADE SOLAR PANELS'? If yes, what practical uses will it have in a conflict environment? |
