The Governor of Rivers State has said that the index case of the Nobel Covid19 has tested negative, awaiting the final test in other to discharge the patient.

The single confirmed case of Corona Virus (Covid-19) in Rivers state so far has tested negative under continuing medical care. Governor Nyesom Wike disclosed this Sunday in Port Harcourt following inspection of the state’s isolation/treatment center and a Food Bank established to share palliatives to cushion impact of the sit-at-home order over the pandemic. He said, “For now, we are not hundred percent ready, but we are about 90 percent ready. Luckily for us, we have no serious cases. “The confirmed case is doing very well. They have sent her samples and it came out negative. Final sample has been sent and we are expecting the results. “We have visited to see readiness of the isolation/treatment centre in Port Harcourt. Though they failed to deliver the job on Saturday as promised, we are confident in the next four days, it would have been completed”

Have you noticed most cases of infected victims of Coronavirus are detected in Lagos.

A friend of mine just came back from the US and staying with us he came with cough and serious fatigue. I got scared and called a doctor from Rivers state teaching hospital pleading we want an urgent test.
To our surprise we were directed to Luth in Lagos or Irua in Edo state. As in....?

Please are we sure we honestly have the actual figures of those truly infected with this virus?

Please we need an urgent testing area in the South south cos I can’t jeopardize the safty of travelers when going to Lagos for test.

Firstly, let him check for untreated infection with a good doctor. Secondly, I will advice you guyz to do more of pre-intimacy like a lot of romance, kisses ... If possible, let him finger you very well till u get close to climax before penetration. He should penetrate slowly and control his mind ... and more importantly, let him embark on physical exercises, and eat good food. Let him eat eba with correct vegetables, always take carrots and cucumber and unripe plantain.

Man changes his DP to a poison, commits suicide while friends assume he‘s clowning

A man identified as Erestus Okpe has committed suicide hours after he changed his Facebook profile picture to that of a poison bottle.


The deceased, from Lejja, Enugu State but based in Maiduguri, Borneo State, took the action on Tuesday and the reason is still unknown.


After changing his profile picture on Tuesday, his friends thought he was just clowning them as usual, but the issue became serious after he refused to reply their comments.


They later notified his siblings about the development on Wednesday and that was when they rushed to his apartment, only to find him dead.

Abuja – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday won all in the 15 voting points in the Presidential and National Assembly elections at Mpape Central polling units marked 006 and 007 situated at Mpape Primary School, Abuja.

Members of the PDP A correspondent who monitored voting point one of polling unit 006 reports that PDP polled 92 votes against 64 of the APC in the presidential election; PDP got 95 votes against APC’s 60 in the senatorial, while PDP got 91 votes against APC’s 62 in the House of Assembly election. At voting point two of 006, PDP polled 120 votes against APC’s 23, while PDP polled 117 votes against APC’s 24 in the senatorial.

PDP also got 110 votes against APC’s 23 in the House of Assembly election. Also, in voting point three in the same polling unit, PDP got 118 votes as against APC’s 33 in the presidential; PDP got 125 votes against 34 in the senatorial and PDP got 120 votes against APC’s 33 in the House of Representatives election. Also in voting point four in the same polling unit 006, PDP polled 111 votes against APC’s 51 in the presidential; PDP got 112 votes against APC’s 51 in the senatorial; PDP polled 91 votes against APC’s 62 for the House of Representatives, Also, at voting point five, PDP got 131 votes against APC’s 12 votes in the presidential; PDP got 135 votes against APC’s 15 for the senatorial and PDP polled 133 votes against APC’s 13 for the House of Representatives. TAKING LEAVE OF A FAMILY

Beloved brothers and sisters of the All Progressives Congress, Rivers State, I greet you with mixed feelings, as I write these lines to accordingly Express a hard decision.

Yes, hard decision because I formally joined you in April last year and you received me with warmth and love. You made me feel at home, and we worked hard as a family to reposition the party and stabilize our leader, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who was then under tremendous pressure. We quickly rolled up our sleeves and labored behind our leader and with you.

Inspired by the leader's claim to equity, justice, and fair-play we inconvenienced ourselves to ensure success and our beloved All Progressives Congress became bigger and stronger. The claim by the leader that Rivers State should be governed at this time by someone of riverine extraction was believed to be a sincere and patriotic position. Hence we encouraged the membership to follow wholeheartedly.

For those who know Dumo Lulu Briggs intimately, I am an unrepentant team player who puts group interest over self. We didn't walk the streets because we were idle, we were not insulted because we were hated; instead, we did because sacrifices were required to liberate our state.

Our loyalty to the leader and party was total as is necessary for Party Democracy to thrive. As you all know, the principles of loyalty and fidelity demand justice for all. "To lead and we follow" must always bear the supposition of truth, equity, and justice.

We need to create a Rivers State of expanding opportunities and citizen responsibility. A State growing in diversity and in the bonds of love and ONENESS. Therefore, nothing must be allowed to threaten our sense of a common future.

The facts are known, we took steps to protect the party from sliding into a personal estate, if the PDP in Rivers State is owned by a strong man and our leader in the APC by default becomes a feudal lord, then our state is doomed. I have nothing personal to lose or gain, but we have all to lose if in a democracy we allow the aberration of overlords, hence my decision. While we were together I enjoyed your comradeship and so find it hard to leave, yet, men of conscience would when necessary overlook personal sentiments and emotions.

I am 100% Rivers just as you and so I trust that we shall keep our friendship and possibly realign if and when we feel the need. I bear no grudge or malice and I implore that you take none toward me, what is obvious is that I have to continue my quest to help liberate our state by advancing my vision on another platform.

I take from the experience valuable lessons, and from you, I took warm memories. I pray that God keeps us healthy and able to rescue Rivers State and elect a governor who will give Rivers people quality leadership and service.

Once again, I reiterate that it is about Rivers people and my doors are open, praying that we find ourselves in ONE ACCORD.
