Though Mimiko is far better than Akeredolu in terms of infrastructural development in Ondo, but is not the best governor in other areas of governance indices. Adefarati and Agagu were more compassionate than him in providing alleviation for the suffering masses by providing job massively for the unemployed youths, and other social amenities.

However Akeredolu is the worst governor the state has produced since 1999.
