Is there a finished gloss that goes over it after application for waterproofing?

csiworksnig:
yes it's textured surface, but it's hardly gets dirty to the point one needs to wash it.. Once it rains all the dusts settled on the surface washes off
Properties / Re: Gravitex Paint For Walls by Memejem: 7:33am On Feb 06, 2017
Good to know. I'll keep you guys in mind when the time is near.

About maintaimence. How exactly do you wash the walls when this paint is applied. Since it's textured. How do you remove dust and etc?

csiworksnig:

We have buses that supply to any location and if you also want us to handle the application part, we would be glad to travel down and handle the project or say paint the house.

let me know the square areas for the walls and then we can pick it from there. call or whatsapp 08093577005

This is a good point. I'll think on it. But I'm sure a power hose with pressure should be able to remove dust. It depends on how the owner maintains it too.

I'll surely give it some thought.

danny34:

I disagree on the maintenance issue. Look at the gravitex surface and ask yourself how you wash such surface, it's like saying you will wash a textcoat?

Gravitex is a good sight to behold, but am sure maintenance will be an issue. If you screed tour house, do silk, it has weather protection, can be scrubbed as is a smooth surface.

In Nowas filling station Trans ekulu, Enugu, there is a Genesis Restaurant there, Gravitex was used on the outside, you need to see how it looks now.

However, if your house is n an area with no dust, like a well tarred estate, you can do gravitex, if is n an area where dust will easily do it, please refrain.

Based on what they claimed the paint need very little maintainable. Dirt can be washed off with water.

I hope to use it for the exterior of the house of it's affordable me use different kind of paint for indoors.

If it's not too affordable i to hope to use it as an accent for the bottom half of the house

danny34:

Hello, why not? As long as you want Gravitex. However, if you can reach me let's talk about other paintings.... Am sure you are not doing gravitex all round. And how do you hope to maintain it when it becomes dirty or stays long?

Spyder. I've heard that this area in Enugu has a serious problem with erosion. Have you done a soil test in this area. I've heard that residential houses here are sinking.

Yes ooo. I can see that fee becoming an issue in the future if it not all included in the beginning

It's better that way so they don't cause complications in the future.

What is the estimated cost of the obganeche Agu because is this not an estate we are buying into?

Also, how inside is this estate from the main road/developments?

spyder880:
For payment of each plot of land , the buyer is assured of being allocated a plot of land (possibly chosen by them from the layout of the survey plans which I will attach hereafter. These are other things which your payment will take care of;

1. Your plot of land (This will be shown to you whenever you want)
2. 4 copies of the original survey plans as prepared by a registered surveyor. (Survey plan must bear you full names)
3. Four sets of original land agreement documents prepared and signed by a lawyer, bearing your name and address.
4. Electric poles on the streets, placed according to need.
5. Road to be created by a bulldozer, making entry into the land easier.
6. Traditional rites for land agreement (please note that this is not the ogbaneche agu payment as you start your building)
7. Rest of mind cheesy

Armed with all these, you can walk in and start your building construction today without any hassles.

Family / Re: Can You Live In A House Built By Your Wife? by Memejem: 7:05am On Nov 02, 2016
This discussion ended months ago.

Anyways, in response to your comment, I don't believe masculinity has anything to do with how others perceive you, but rather how you perceive yourself. It's a socially construed sentiment. If a man is emasculated because his wife has enough funds to build a house and he doesn't then in honesty I feel he isn't matured. This isn't the 1940s, this is 2016. The traditional role of a woman as a housewife is slowly becoming eradicated. Women are educated and make their own money now. The man is not the only provider. women are providers too.

Culture and traditions change and is created by the people. We create culture, not the other way around.

I can only speak for myself, I have a full time job so I don't see why I will not contribute to the family funds when I get married. It's not for my husband to carry the burden alone, marriage is a partnership.

At the end of the day everybody should marry someone who shares the same ideals as them. It's not by force.

davidif:

But don't you think it's emasculating to the man? Men are driven by pride in their achievements and if he can't be the leader and the provider, that shatters his ego (depending on the guy of course) which is what drives a lot of man.

On the flip side of it, a lot of women are raised and comditioned to to see the man as the one who provides shelter so if the man can't and the woman steps into that role (uncharted territory). That might tip the dynamics of the relationship. The woman might look at him differently and even if she wants to respect him it might be very difficult for her to do so.

At the end of the day, what you have is a role reversal in a relationship which might tilt the balance of the relationship. Any way it's my suggestion, feel free to disagree.

podosci:

Electricity used to be 22hrs daily but since this new government took over, the electricity situation as been very bad. Its not too late to move over here, Its about 40minutes drive to the Abuja city centre and 1hr30mins to the airport.

I really love this gate. Silent but beautiful. Not too flashy making noise up and down. But sturdy. I'm saving this in my records for when the time is right.

spyder880:
The way I like to hang my gates if it's a swing type is to hang the arms inside so that passers by cannot get a view of the insides of compound.

There is more than enough evidence to put brabus in a compromising position should he decide to take legal action against most people here on nairaland. The evidence is against him and he knows it.

If he was truly innocent he would have taken legal action long ago.

But anyways I know you're just trolling...how your chicken leg pillars?
