Cool people and great food but too many Arabs. I’d rather live in France than UK. I regret not focusing on my French classes back then. i for get more options and could live in Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and others.

Please let me also add that Russian student Visa is not equivalent to a work Visa. You can only work for limited hours per week. However it turned out the university is cheap (Federal University) and if you can speak and teach English, employers will be willing to pay you well)

Hello guys, So this thing has been bothering me for quite a while now and I would like to have someone else's idea on it.

In my mid 20's currently undergoing a masters program at a Russian University (Somewhere around Moscow). Online because of the pandemic. The masters is a full scholarship with a little stipend calculated by your grades.
Now the borders are open and I have the opportunity of being there physically. Its kind of mandatory right now even. The scholarship is supposed to last 2 years with a mandatory third year where you will have to work for the school as payment for your scholarship. While studying you get paid, little money though, lets say 200k in conversion to naira. While working (On your third year) you also get paid but this depends on the role you interviewed for and your skill level. The masters is in Data Science and that is also my field.

But the only problem now is I just got a really good job here in the country that pays lets say about half a million. With my current projections, I could level up a bit more and settle down in 2 years

Now this current amount is more than what I will get paid in Russia both as a student or as a worker for the next 3 years (According to my projection). However, the school will cover accommodation, so the stipends are just for feeding, coffee, movies and dates, etc.

Do you think the masters is worth me giving up such a opportunity in Nigeria for the abroad?

In a nutshell, do you think having a foreign masters certificate is worth it?

I currently work in a company and my monthly take home is 210k. A friend helped me to apply for a Job in Canada, I did the interview Last Month and I was sent a congratulatry message Yesterday from the Company to start work in Canada.

Am having little fears, have not been to Canada, I don't know how they operate, I don't have family there, my friend that applied for me stays in New York.

There are several clubs and rooms in clubhouse app you can learn a lot and even pitch your ideas if you think you have a sound idea.

To pitch your idea as a Nigerian to investors abroad is nearly impossible. Those who have been lucky so far are very very few and they go through rigorous process. Most times some countries are flagged and priorities are given to western countries.

In club house app, you get to speak to these investors and even connect with them freely.

Just make sure your idea is very sound, because a lot of people will be listening. Don't go and embarrass yourself.

There is a club that focus on careers in tech and Remote opportunities for unpopular Tech Jobs that companies are looking for and willing to pay more.


This club talks about all the tech jobs that most people have refused to look into. Because everyone is talking about javascript or data analytics everybody's attention is on it. But what everyone fails to realise is, there are other roles too that even pay more than these popular ones and the reason they pay higher is cos there are very few people qualified for it.

So while you are looking at switching careers, know that regardless of your educational background, anyone can break into tech and get a very decent pay if they have the right information and mentor.

I currently work remotely as a Salesforce administrator. Got this job on indeed.com right after I received my training from a tech mentor whom I connect with at the NGO I was formerly working. She also runs the club (link already shared) on clubhouse.

One thing I can say is there is a huge difference between watching tutorial videos on YouTube or website and having a mentor guide you through a path.

Tel him you will be paid a small commission after sales...
Pick up your phone, snap as many cars as your phone memory can take, open a dedicated twitter ac, IG ac, Facebook ac, WhatsApp ac, ac etc... Take out time to post this cars, make sure you have the actual prices of this cars... You can add as much as #250k on it... Bring down the negotiations to as low as making #50k if need be just so I can sell. Set your monthly target... I assure you, if you get I client in a month, u make around #100,000k once you start growing, you can get as much as 5-10 client from all over the country and that hits you over #1m for just helping others sell their cars, Note all you invested was your time, energy, phone and data... No big financial capital...
Do not restrict yourself to cars, go for industrial machines as well, caterpillars, mikano gens, any thing, then you look for those big companies that need them and try to call their attention to it or market it to them... I have a badass programmer pal. Full stack engineer. Recently did a job for someone, and made some real good cash. Like up to $120,000. The money came from building software for 3 microfinance banks in the country.
He earns over 450,000 Naira as salary here in Nigeria as well. We got talking yesterday and he's telling me he cannot stay in Nigeria, that he's resigning immediately after lock down for airports are over.

His argument is 450,000 Nigerian Naira equals
1,162.97 United States Dollar, wheras in the US / Canada for instance, the salary is way higher.

My rating for Asus Laptops greatly improved when I used ASUS ZenBook UX303LN. With a decent display of 13.3" and an impressive 16:9 QHD+ (3200 x 1800) resolution, it's performance was simply plausible.

I think Asus has done a pretty good job of almost perfectly anticipating the kind of experience and features most users would like their ideal laptops to have.

The Zenbook Pro Duo definitely worths it's price, though I thought the secondary screen looked weird but your review made me realize it's use.

On cons, I think gamers and regulars are likely not going to find the system friendly. The trackpad's extreme position seems really weird.

On pros, the system is definitely an open cheque for pro graphics designers, 3D modellers etc, and users that employ lots of functions in producing their work.

Yet again Asus seems to always maintain their standard of using refined alloyed metal for body finishing which is commendable.

The dual 4k screen will surely give users a 'feel good' experience.

I will give a decent 85% overall.
