Well while the world is changing and people are fighting for their rights, Naija leaders still think the people are all complacent and daf Usually a coach of a national team would pick players and a VENUE suitable for himself, that is, one that favors his team. Look at Bolivia, Mexico, and U.S. Those teams have stadia all over their countries, but for certain matches they choose altitude, pitch, crowd, or a region that suits the team. Not like Naija where one Hausaman wants to bring a important match to Kano or Kaduna. I mean, 4 what? |
and where are the moderators? |
Of course, GEJ will win, along with many PDP folks, including some that have no business recycling themselves for senator, governor etc. Meanwhile, ABACHA's son is waiting with other "opposition" folks to come and chop. Its pretty gloomy for Naija. |
Its sad that the opposition is Nigeria is often fulll of baboons and the devil's cousin. From "Action Group" to today. Dayum |
Shame |
The first video was something else. If more and more persons saw this video (especially among Ironsi's generation), I'm sure they'll be thinking differently about Nigeria and its leaders |
So are we playing Sierra Leone or Guatamala? |
When is Iwu going to crooke |
Since the civil war the Igbo people have not been politically serious. They keep quiet when those who stole their mandate continue to parade themselves as governors and senators. Meanwhile, other groups are sitting prettier than them, even developing their region. |
Arrest and Prosecute the thief IBORI. PERIOD!!! You know how many folks died in his state from a lack of roads, healthcare, jobs, security, scheduled salary payments, etc. |
How did Mr. Hafiz Ringim become IGP? Was he not previously in charge of the notorious Aba/Umuahia command? |
When you have Alhajis running the sports ministry and politicians as members of a SOCCER Admin, and it happens for a prolonged time, this is the result. Where are our people for goodness sake? See Egypt |
jason123:Yes you are right. Igbo people should sometimes stop running their mouth like fools, and hold their leaders (not the leaders of others-aka Awolowo, OBJ, Atiku) accountable. They need to also check themselves and their culture ( kidnapping, title taking, even bride price exploitation) Yet you are wrong if you believe that all Igbo are wanting to bring attention to themselves. Look at the Danish cartoon and how Hausas started to deal with Igbo and Christians. So the best thing is to be a serious group that is serious about progress |
^^^ Well, I guess whatever you were trying to say was that you don't support gays? Anyway if that's the case, good for you. Africans, rather Nigerians, have more important things to talk about and do other than gay this and that |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^The SE is not at all that peaceful, and is still lacking in infrastructure. All the regions in Naija are deplorable |
Obiagu1:One of the best post of the day. I would rather like to see a recall of senators and representathieves from region to region, as well as toppling of stupid governors like Daniels and Orji. Local protest geared at effecting change in addition to whatever national movements are taking place. Dayum, we need to rid our countries of sycophants |
oyebambam:Child, let me educate you small, David Mark is from the "Old northern part of Nigeria", the same as the sick man who decided to remain President called Yar Adua. So shut up about Igbo vote Yoruba childish nonsense. |
So whats next? Animal Rights activist from AFRICA shot dead? We havent even done the basics (free elections, power supply, corruption, tribalism), and have jumped all the way to gay rights because we've been reading too much NY Times. Its too bad an individual died, but gay rights from an African perspective is frankly silly and distracting. Yep I said it |
Only at the regional level, and major metro areas (Lagos and Abuja) can change on the level of the North Africans, can happen in Naija. |
ikay88:We arent talking about Buhari or Gowon or the past. We are talking about today, including at the state level. Installing a corruption fighter is not just at the presidential level, but a total installment, including among those that woke up one day and gave themselves the title of Pastor. |
Abagworo:Absolutely. After the 1999 election that saw a retired half-baked army general turned PDP candidate (OBJ) beat what appeared to be a more suitable candidate (Ekwueme), the then contractor Igbo politicians found it politically advantageous to say "Igbo President come 2003", which lead to "Igbo President 2007". This of course gave these fake advocates of Igbo advancement popularity and prestige, as well as a coverup to mismanage the affairs of their people. Thus came "Igbo must produce President in 2011", and now there's filthy talk of "Igbo Presidency 2015". Its all a joke and charade, and unfortunately, Igbo people have bought it and been distracted by it (along with others). At least some few and brave Igbo leaders have made somewhat of a positive impact for their people (Enugu/Rivers/Anambra Govs). So, its time to stop being distracted, gullible, and complacent, and deal directly with those in front of you, those ruining your very own village, those that bare the same name as you. |
Rubbish. . . Rubbish and more Rubbish. You just enjoy spewing rubbish don't you?
Which kind rubbish ode? Dont tell me that's your response. Your govs failed ya'. Your senators failed ya'. But cheer up, its happened in Ogun state too. ![]() |
Most of these posters were born after the Civil War and they continue to hate the Ndigbo. You said time heals everything. No. There is real anger amongst Igbo youth. Everyday we are hearing our people are being targeted in the North. I thought we were Nigerians? Everyday, we have to suffer the ridicule, the slaps in our face and the disrespect of our people. Enough is enough. There will come a day when the Igbo rise up, and you better hope that day is not not near. Because the way things are looking in the world, Nigeria could implode at any moment.
Excuses excuses. Those "born after the war", did they not have mothers, fathers, aunties, etc. that survived, fought and died during that era? I know many Igbo youth that arent angry at all, and instead, enjoying the wealth Naija has. They just arent holding on to the past or getting worked up on newspaper reports. Igbo leaders have failed their own people (as the case is with SS and Middle Belt, and even Yoruba). Those 6 Igbo govs that have been in power since 1999, what have they done, along with the 5 Senate Presidents una produced? So Biafra was noble, but time to move on and hold your current leaders at all levels accountable. Duh? |
Look at all the fools commenting on a newspaper report. Its now turned as usual to a Yoruba vs Igbo rift, when both groups are among the poorest in the world, who's towns, villages, and communities run foul with pollution, waste, deplorable roads, armed robbers, useless Pastors, and GREEDY Prostitute Politicians (along with ARISTO Chics). Yes, Akunyili is right by saying Nigerians should be represented (tribes, gender, religions, etc) at the national level. Why not an Igbo as Speaker or VP? No, Akunyili is wrong by implying that the Senate President or any position is the preserve of any group. Why can't a senate prez be Yoruba? What we need is a return to basics, and that is credible leaders at all levels. And its our responsibility to make sure we are electing or SUPPORTING credible people who can fix our sorry azz smelly country for the better. |
ANPP candidate from BORNO? Its obvious Nigeria has REAL problems |
^^^^ Its already bad for us |
dayokanu:Heads needs to role in that country. Real French Revolution. I mean, so its okay since its not a Tinubu thing? |
You're talking pure nonsense. What do my parents have to do with anything? Couldn't you strictly comment on the post without resorting to insults? I know she's not a senator but I still reiterate that most of them in the house can't comfortably list all towns that make up their senatorial zones. At least my senator friend is reliable on this info.
Thank goodness you've been reading my post and borrowing my tone (aka NONSENSE) lol, because that's what I find in the posters post and yours above. You say that most of our senators cant sing the anthem and dont know their region eh? Then I say that YOUR MUMSI and her MUMSI prob cant sing the anthem either. The point being that the Government (including those Senators, who I agree are fools) are simply a reflection of ourselves. They are complacent to their godfathers and emirs and all, and guess what, so are Nigerians in general. Imagine, the problem your poster friend has was that Dora has campaign material in Onicha and other places in Anambra, and thus she's daft. Meanwhile Mr. ANDY UBA, is scheming on stealing your mandate in that same senatorial zone, and you see how Igbo have lost their mind, just like every other group in the country. |
Dont mind all these so-called Pastors who dont even know where their faith originated. They discovered that our people were and are still daft, and saw an opportunity to be relevant, hence preaching and church membership and suit wearing. They are not deceiving me |
