Of course, that agbaya Daniel is bad news, and is a great representation of "free" elections being stolen from the people on election day |
As the elections approach, will Mr. or is it "Prince" Obi contest? |
Aw, the 1994 team. Now this is what we can recycle for Naija instead of useless politicians. That squad was one of the best of all times from Africa. SIA1, lets go!!! |
9ijaMan:Certainly not Major General Muhammadu Buhari Not in this new century |
Did you guys think that your government had any real influence in the world/among world leaders? I mean, Cheney, a fmr US VP? Please |
Again, useless maps of bullshyt |
Let the oil finish, every drop can go. Look at the Muslim states like UAE and Qatar, see how they have used their oil wealth responsibly. Yet Naija folks from Katsina to Kwara are busy booking flights to Saudi for hajj. Local people with inferiority complex |
No to Buhari. No to 1983 in 2010 |
Do not put Yakubu |
chyz:2nd that |
Blazay:What is this rubbish for? |
Well, I guess we are continuing with the recycling of old skool politicians that jump from one party to another. Anyway, the only tangible thing Okorocha said was that he'll nominate Ohakim as ambassador to Afghanistan LOL!!! |
jarkbauer:Emeka Chikelu and Ike Ekweremadu are listed to add to the number sheh? I thought one would first clinch the ticket of their party before "announcing" their Vice. |
so whats the latest on ibiam inter? |
Total re-branding!!!! |
excanny:Your first point (scrapping off house) is possible, especially since the majority of those men and women were not elected and are common criminals. Your point about the US is wrong however. The bicameral stance in that country, as well as everything political, is followed by rule of law, and has the people's interest at stake. Those who run for office in Nigeria could never run for office anywhere else, or rather, on the same conditions and inspections from the people found in serious countries. |
DapoBear:Thank you. |
The CBN is talking to us, the people of Naija, to do something to save the nation, or at the worst, our land (village, kindred, town, region). Those legislators and state assembly men have shown they are incompetent, lazy, selfish, and fools at 40. As a poster has already said, they are plotting on adding 10 more states with 30 more sinators to match. |
Andre Uweh:With the current Anambra and Enugu governors present, there is some hope. GEJ is preferable for Naija more than going decades into the past with IBB/Buhari and status quo Atiku. But Mr. Uweh, for the 50th time, your Ohaneze is irrelevant |
On one hand its true that elements from the Nigerian Film industry are making substantial profit. It's also true that we produce more movies than the majority of the nations in the UN. On the other hand, majority of our movies are poorly produced, directed, the acting sub-par, the costume manager/casting manager/and location manager poor in their managing, and the list goes on. Reasons why the film industry may be attracting interest from Brazil, and why it is remarkably profitable for some is a lil complicated. Yet, one reason for the profit is that Naija is behind in quality film producing, and since no one in Bollywood or Hollywood will show our culture, we are ready to buy original/bootleg copies that show someone speaking broken, wearing agbada, and running around in a village. We don't necessarily have standards for people in government, not to talk of film quality, so hey, it's all good, as long as we see things familiar to us. Brazil, of course they are not interested in our film quality, but the general curiosity of making a $100,000 profit using $5,000 |
Giving the slot of Vice to an Igbo wont solve the neglect you find in the SE/SS. Have Igbo people turned so gullible and cowardly that the offer of 2nd is equated with victory? Every election since 1999, those from the SE have had no vision whatsoever to promote the well-being of their people (and Naija at large). Instead, it is "Wait till 2003, wait for 2007, wait for 2011, wait for 2015", and so on and so forth. At that rate an Ghanian will become president of Naija before an Igbo person. The governors (including the already confused Orji) are confused, Ohaneze confused for a record 4th election, Igbo senators/reps confused, and you wonder why finalizing projects in the East (aka Int'l Airport, roads, bridges) take forever, and why Northerners and Yorubas like to promise comical items to Easterners. Easterners, organize among yourselves for this election, and hold your leaders accountable |
He not only owes Ojukwu apology, but also all the people of Abia for hijacking their mandate, mis-governing the state for nearly 4 years, encouraging the usual corruption and election rigging, and showing the world how useless Africans/African leadership can be. He claims it was Abia people who told him to become a political harlot eh? Shame |
