PoliticsRe: Inec Orders Re Run In Imo State by mensdept: 1:58am On Apr 29, 2011
So Rochas won only 12 of the 24 LGA?

PDP is mad, they are not at all going to grant you an inch, not to talk of mile.

ROCHAS won all the 24 LGAs, yet see propaganda already.

I consider the manner of the loss of APGA candidates to be an overwhelming rejection by Anambra people of Peter Obi's policy and style of governance. If he has any honour left in him, he and APGA will admit this. Every candidate that was closely associated with Peter Obi lost!
Yes and no. In fact APGA has the lead in about four Federal Const., but of course INEC has either not declared or has ruled inconclusive.

Nevertheless, Obi clearly is not as influential when it comes to "Nigerian-style" politics.

Dont forget that Ngige's role in rigging the 2003 election also helped in rigging out APGA and other opposition candidates from state and federal office.

Thanks for these fantastic links. It just shows that Ohakim is exactly what we all thought and knew- A ROGUE. His words are in effect incriminating, as he alludes to the fact that he has "structures" everywhere, like thugs, loot, police, and intimidation.

This guy never won the election in 2007, and has been an imposter ever since.

What a BASTAR.D

Well so am I, but you usually tell it as it is. This suggestion, well, is objective, but are you seriously thinking that Igbo leaders in PDP should handle this? My friend whats up now?

Catrated monkey, shut up your smelly mouth, idiott. You have never seeen anything good with the Igbo, You only come here to chastise them. Why did you not participate in voting in your candidates instead of venting your frustrations on Ndigbo?. Dirty son of a brain-dead monkey.
And I thought I was dealing with my age mate, but apparantly not. BTW, you didnt ask about your Nne's bed again. Why?

Who are your candidates? Is that the debate you want to have?

Really, I could give a rats azz about Ndigbo, Omo Yoruba, or Ijaws, but frankly, you guys continue to live in delusion, and its about time you hear what your moma aint tell ya--even about that bed.

Explain more,
Clearly you are on to something. Its not a conclusion that a sitting executive must or will deliver/sweep seats for his party, but often, that's the case-especially if he's popular. It's unusual, even in the corrupt Naija political landscape for a governor to continue to operate in the minority in his state.

Before I start, i would want no insult on this thread

I have studied the political landscape of Nigeria and watch the current events taken place. In my finding, I notice that the igbos and northerners are in the best position as it is right now. The following are my thoughts

1.) Now that there is SS president and he won by the majority of the nddigbo votes, he is likely to compenstae them for there effort by buliding a sea port or a VALUABLE international airport. this in turn would reduce the tax system lagos collect from it's port and reduce the total income of the state and in general the SW because they all share this money as i was told.

2.) Even without a mandate, the SE has already gotten what they want (economic power from the west) now in 2015, it would be either SE or NE president. either way they still benefit.

3.) Now that the SW is out of National politics of PDP, it is only normal for more positions to be avalible for the ndigbo given that GEJ gives his promise

4.) Lagos is the heart beat of the SW (yorubas/edos) if it falls they have to rush to the upcoming econmical power (port harcount). Now some might agure that port harcount is not an igbo town but in reality, it does not have to be an igbo town before they benefit from it due to the close proximity to SE

5.) most juice national contract will be given to igbos and SS because of GEJ

6.) GEJ has shown time and time again that he does not care about the north or SW. All he is doing is channeling his energy to SE and SS

PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS POINTS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU REPLY

i would like to see the igbos views on this.

Last week, Ndigbo voted wisely and for a long time, got it right. You hid in your dungeon and did not make any comment. A week later, your candidates lost, and you have crawled out of your dungeon to further insult Ndigbo. If at all you are Igbo, then you are a disgrace to the entire Igbo nation.
Perhaps I crawled out of your Nne's bed. Fool

Candidates lost? Which are my preferred candidates, because as you know, I am a godfather shee'

The only disgrace is that your region is still being controlled mostly by Warrant Chiefs. Yep, and the women at Aba this time have no balls. That's too bad

Chime is doing a descent job in Enugu. But the question is, what about the rest of the state. That question especially is important for states like Imo, Abia, and Akwa Ibom, where the rural community are on their own.

The new Nairaland policy for Igbo should be to overthrow 9ja and install Tinubu as president. Yeah silly right, but then again, think about it. You guys flopped again in the selection/election, and currently, those criminals lording over your villages and towns will return for another 4 years to say, "Igbo Presidency 2015"

Mass protest and violence if this Ohakim bastar.d is trying to rig to retain power. Shameless fool. This is what happened 4 years ago, when Imo Gov election was declared inconclusive despite APGA winning the election. Before then Udenwa's rigging.

This round its the people's mandate or WAR
PoliticsRe: Southeast Sucks! by mensdept: 11:13pm On Apr 27, 2011
Yes indeed, the SE sucks politically. And instead of fixing their region, there's bickering left and right, and the constant migration to Lagos and the North. Add to that the silly Deltans-particularly ANIOMA, who instead of using their majority number, are political prostitutes to Urhrobo.

Imo people should be grateful to God that a strong opposition came forward to challange the PDP in their state, for us at Abia, its business as usual; there is no plan B. You either vote PDP or PDP, no strong or better opposition. I'm watchin the broadcast from INEC office live and its PDP all the way in ABIA, we are stuck with this misrule for another 4 years. Kudos to Rochas, well done ndi imo.
What credible opposition do you need? Do you guys want to dig up MI Okpara so you'll have credible opposition? Hello, there were many candidates and if the election was not rigged (which it clearly had to be), then how can ALL the Senators, House Reps, and now a dum.azz as governor ALL be returned for another 4 years? Not even one of those losers lost?

Where are those women in Aba who's grannies rioted against the same bullsh.it in 1929 against Oyibo? Dont tell me they are all Aristos now?

T.A. Orji was trying to go against former godfather. Seems like T.A. Orji has won. Abia is now more peaceful compared what it was last year.
See immature politician. What happened to roads, schools, jobs, security? Do you need federal soldiers and police to monitor your poop of a state, a state that Naija folks thought was a land of serious warriors that cared for their people?
PoliticsRe: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by mensdept: 1:23pm On Apr 27, 2011

Abia really had no option to fall to. Imo would have been in a similiar situation if Rochas had not come on the rescue mission from Abuja.
Nonsense. This is an excuse that morons are using to justify this rigged election. Abia State is about to totally collapse, and yet ALL the Senators, House of Thiefs, and now Governor have returned/re-selected for another 4 years. So you mean there was absolutely no "opposition" at any level? None in one of the worse parts of Africa?

Maybe Abia people should undergo Sharia Law since they clearly are a joke.

Orji for goodness sake.

But folks, why are we talking about 2015 when we havnt even formed the 2011 government? Premature and a bit of the same ole "Nigg.a-area" mindset

I pity Dora soo much but im happy Peter Obi is put to shame finally. This second defeat is even sweeter and it goes to show who was lying in the first instance.
Talking about Chief, Dr., Igwe, Chris Ngige lol. Praise singer

This is to tell our kids that its okay to rigg an election, which also robbed others of assembly seats, turn a state up side down with anarchy, and later contest for a senator. And you wonder why the SW is light years ahead of the SE.

PoliticsRe: SE Governors Should Map Out And Plan New Towns Now by mensdept: 12:17am On Apr 22, 2011
Rossikk:
I think rather than building new cities, the east should expand its current cities. Cities like Owerri, Umuahia, Aba, Okigwe, Enugu and co are still too small and can accommodate millions more people if expanded. If they have to incorporate surrounding villages into larger metropolis, so be it.
Those cities never had any type of structure to begin with, some growing out of British trade post and as you see today, jaga jaga. You can however work on parts of the city, particularly Enugu, but utlimately, you need to build a world class settlement.

But that cant happen until fundamental issues are cleared in Igbo political and social setup

All my solution threads are always based on the fact that you never know where the saviour might come from.

Look at Sullivan Chime, I bet you that everyone thought he would be like Chimaroke Nnamani. Well he is not.

Look at Peter Obi, he may lack revolutionary ideas, which is what threads like this can accomplish. Already there is a new town being planned in Omambala area (if I'm not mistaken).

Part of our duty is to spring up ideas for our governors.

An idle governor will likely steal money than a governor with HUGE expenditure to attend to.
You are absolutely right about Chime and to some extent Obi. However, you  cant limit the solution to the finding of a saviour. The fundamental problem Igbo people are facing now can best be summarized as being displaced--even in the East. The general mindset among them has allowed for complacency, money craze, power grabing, mansion building, and Northern town going. I'm a bit of Igbo, Bini, and Yoruba, and the Igbo side are living in various places- even in Katsina.

Isnt that crazy?
