PoliticsRe: Anambra central senatorial Election: Dora Akunyili (APGA) vs Chris Ngige of ACN by mensdept: 9:02pm On Apr 10, 2011
Ngige running for office itself is a scam. What moral authority does he have to run? How can ACN with all its noise give him the ticket, unless ACN in the East is just a joke, compared to the more serious ones in the SW.

The government of Anambra state should put him on trial for sabotage, electoral fraud, bribery, and violence. Time for all those morons to receive their overdo punishment for causing massive sorrow for the people, stealing their mandate, and stalling their development.
PoliticsRe: All Hail Tinubu . The New Undiputed Heavyweight Champion Of The Sw. by mensdept: 8:50pm On Apr 10, 2011
Tinubu has emerged as the victor in the just concluded round of voting. Of course, we all know that Yoruba people or leadership choose their own leaders, and these leaders have them in mind while in Abuja. This can not be said for the Southern Minorities or Igbo folks.
How often will her decisions be affected by her husband?

Interesting . . . I thought you for a second you were describing there what a Dora victory would mean? I mean we are speaking of a woman who more recently, healped steal away an opportunity for advancement for the people of Ekiti, helped the running of the country in chaos(especially from May 2009 through March 2010), prevent serious development in our ministry of communication, and helped PDP rig elections with no remorse , made a lot of noise and now wants to win senatorial elections.
What does her husband have to do with this election? Yes, even Fashola's wife may have advised him to do projects in Lagos, but the election is Fashola versus his opponents.

As for Dora did this and that, you must be mad. NGIGE is a thief, and he did even more crimes than I listed. You are classically trying to play games. You'll be surprised that indigenes of Ekiti conspired to run their own state down, similar to what happened with the thief governing Ogun state. You'll be surprised that she was alone in the struggle to get to the bottom of the Yar Adua mystery and she was at the forefront of getting someone to preside over the affairs of the government, at a time the US labeled your nation a terrorist nation, which ultimatley rendered her unfavored by the PDP criminals, hence, her campagin against them.

Seems like her husband has a huge effect on her political actions.
Your point is?

See how thread about the criminal David Mark's "re-selection" has turned into APGA and Ngige lol
PoliticsRe: We Are Leading With A Wide Margin - Dora Akunyili by mensdept: 5:55am On Apr 10, 2011
A Ngige victory sends the message that you can steal a peoples mandate, run the state into chaos, prevent serious development, cause others who won legislative seats to be rigged out in favor of 419 PDPers, be booted out by the SUPREME COURT so the REAL WINNER can govern, make alot of noise, and then win a Senatorial election.

I know Anambra people are better than that.

I c a new Nigeria. God we thank u. Jega, u av scored well avove 60%. That is a gud score in this exercise. We don't expect everything to be perfect. But I must say, this election is CREDIBLE
Umm, instead of the usual "thanking God o'", why not thank the courageous people of Naija, who, despite all the attacks, bombs, cowards, childish fools, complacent mobs, fake pastors, sharia-ist killers, WENT TO THE POLLS AND EXERCISED NOT ONLY THEIR RIGHTS, BUT THEIR COMMON SENSE!!!!. We thank god for brave Nigerian people!!!
PoliticsRe: Chris Ngige For Senate President by mensdept: 5:27am On Apr 10, 2011
chigo4u:
Now that he has won the senate seat (just was he did the governorship but was iwued) I think he should set his eyes above. Getting the senate presidential seat, particularly now that the ACN has a major grip of the national assembly. I think Chris Ngige's senate presidency will be effective. Am so happy he won all the madam sycophants and betrayers. One has to know there is always a different between appointment material and election material. Madam was paid back in her OWN COIN and I think now that she has lost, I no longer have issues with her atleast she has tested defeat in the field. And then for those tribal bigoots on here shouting acn, Chris Ngige is a political movement using the acn banner just for documentation. You get it? Onto the nxt one but am still interested in that his governorship election case in the courts
This is the problem we face as a nation. Ngige never won any governor election, instead he and Thief Uba, along with PDP machinery stole the Anambra peoples mandate. The Supreme Court came in and booted the criminals out.

Whether INEC announced him or not, how can you be so fast and daft to already say, " NGIGE for Senate President". My guy, coolio down.
PoliticsRe: List Of Presidential Candidates by mensdept: 1:45am On Apr 08, 2011
Government should not be giving rats anymore cheese to choose from unless they meet certain requirements. Usually serious nations, a party must have a certain % of the vote to receive funding. I know someone will say "How can they when PDP and the rest rig and rig". Yet, you see the Pete Obi story which shows that serious people will always end up victorious.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Riot In Ekwulobia, anambra. by mensdept: 1:42am On Apr 08, 2011
I remember some months ago many sources in the West predicted Nigeria was going to COLLAPSE on or before 2015. Depending on this election, that prediction will come faster than we expect because our people dont care for anybody, love money, are complacent, childish, and not serious.

They have tried to comprise Jegga and he refused and canceled the election.

Now they are threatening him with imprisonment if he refuse to rig the election for them.

They made a mistake by nominating Jega to head INEC - Cause they never know he is a man that cannot be compromised.

We are watching and waiting Let then succeed in rigging then PDP will see a different kind of Nigeria!

ITS EITHER BUHARI OR WE BURN ALL PDP LEADERS!

See half-baked potato. Why not say if no free election you burn ALL the leaders. Naija folks and their ABACHA or die stance. How is Buhari different from the same Naija mentality of Military rule?
PoliticsRe: How Pdp Plans To Rig National Assembly Poll by mensdept: 1:35am On Apr 08, 2011

PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole Seeks New Revenue Formula by mensdept: 1:31am On Apr 08, 2011
There is of course reason for the gov to say what he's said. The same thing can be said for localizing the police amongst many things. The problem is that we have many Iboris, Orjis, Nnamanis, Daniels, and Mallams who are occupying the seats that serious minded persons should be occupying. So, give the states more money may just as well enrich the crooks at the states

No, it's not grilling. That' s so 2010. It's now that she must step down.

Not only is this endorsement highly damaging to Ribadu's "popularity" but its strange that IBB has come out to officially back an "also ran" candidate. IBB knows this. Trust me there is more to this than meets the eye.

As long as the system remains the way it has been for the last 12 years, you cannot stop local criminals from contesting. If however, you get someone serious about fighting crime at the National level, then you hinder those local criminals from getting away with any of their planned mischief when, and if elected.
What are you saying?

The system has been like that even in 1984 when Buhari was the dictator, and during Abacha's regime when he (Buhari) was a de-facto member. Anyway thats by the way.

Why can't you stop criminals from contesting? Was it not criminals that contested in the 3rd republic, and even 2nd republic? Its the same old same old unless we hold the governement accountable and entirely Egyptionize or French revolutionize our selves and mindset
PoliticsRe: Scam: Delta State Gov Commissions Uncompleted Airport: See Pics by mensdept: 5:49am On Mar 28, 2011
Have you guys asked why and how Delta state came into being in the first place. All of these problems are not just a PDP affair, and the problems did not just start with this crappy airport that looks like it was built by illiterate Nigger Area slaves.

Until there is real grassroot movement for change, then our militarized experience will continue to make us a laughing stock among our grandchildren.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Faulty Strategy by mensdept: 5:43am On Mar 28, 2011
What sucks it at the local level (state elections/state gov elections) we have criminals that are again contesting. So even if GEJ or god forbid the man from our history book of coup plotters (BUHARI) win, they will be surrounded by a bunch of corrupt people, because we are distracting ourselves daily on irrelevant gist.

Buhari's anti-corruption crusade is a ruse, a smokescreen. How can the man stand for anti-corruption yet had the audacity to say Abacha did not steal any money. And to add insult to injury, Abacha's first son is running for governorship with Buhari's party in kano state. Haba!!!
Btw, can you list what exactly Buhari achieved in the past apart from kicking and flogging his compatriots into line under WAI although he was not disciplined himself.
This is exactly what those pro-Buhari folks are ignoring, and will continue to deceive themselves that Buhari is the answer. Buhari is part and parcel of the problem that we all find ourselves in when living and surviving in Nigeria. Buhari is not really any different from Abacha. Buhari is a coup plotter, he has consistently hijacked political party presidential tickets for the last 10 years, and has nothing new at his old age to offer today's Nigeria.

He will do what? We are no longer in a military framework

1) Gej will not win as many votes as you are predicting in the North following the loss of the NPLC. His support there is literally non existent. May I repeat again, the loss of NPLF was a HAMMER BLOW).

2) Buhari will do just fine in the South West. The region is made up of 60% muslims. These muslims go to mosques. These mosques act as the best form of political mobalisation. The Bakare factor shouldn't be underplayed as well.

BB is fine. Trust me.
Black Berry is fine, Trust me lol

What a great thread!!

I am English, from London but living in Lagos. BB has my full and unconditional support.

The PDP is an evil party. Anyone who has spent time abroad would understand this.

This country is being kept behind for run reason, and one reason alone: bad leadership.
BB has your full support because the country is behind. That point is remarkably fair. However Mr. Englishmanperson, the problem in Naija is not simply "bad leadership". A greater problem is that the people in general, you ready,

ARE NOT SERIOUS

Those in Tunisia rioting, or had rioted, even in Egypt, are not going to rid the current leadership and replace it with those from 1983. Americans, even those in LONDON, are not going to say, "Hey, let's bring the Prime Minister from 1983, Margaret Thatcher back to power", especially if she was a COUP PLOTTER. But as you can see, our people too complacent, confused, and childish, and cowards.

What ever happened to Abacha? I know he's late, but why can't a party adopt him. Why can't we make him president today

Like Buhari, he staged a coup, (including joining Buhari to topple a democracy). He was adopted by all the parties when he was to contest (Buhari has constantly been adopted by parties), he's a military man like Buhari- infact a General for that matter, He's ruled Nigeria prior to the invention of the Black Berry, He's from the NW, he has the same name like my homeboy in Syria although they-Abacha/Buhari- are as black as my cat. He comes at a time when a southerner hasnt been in power for too long, a time when the oil revenue is at a peak, when there's less tribal and religious battles, when there are at least some good governors around as oppossed to illiterate wing commanders and jr officers parading as state administrators, .,.,.,.,

I think the charlatans are those gathering to promote a former military ruler FROM 1983, who overthrew a promising opportunity for Naija to move forward. That's mad. That's really mad.

So this ranting is actually coming from a grown man? You can not continue to paint people in the north as murderers when your rant above is nothing more than a bigoted hate speech. By the way, hope you realize that you succeeded in making very little point here.
Where I have succeeded is that you read my post, got angry, and took time to reply LOL.

How else can you paint the north? If you were educated and googled Nigeria on both Western databases, and ARAB databases, you'll find that Northern Naija is and has always been a violent place, particularly from the point of Usman's "jihad". You'll also find that military baboons that decided to tell Nigerians that they have no say in how to conduct their affairs, that their kids can go to hell, and that whatever little infrastructure democratic leaders built, can be left to rot, came from:

The North.

Why is Buhari contesting for the 3rd, abi forth time nearly 30 years after he hijacked the nation without regard to anyone? You mean he couldnt come out and denounce IBB, Abacha, Abubukar while they ruled? Of course not. Especially not Abacha who he gladly enjoyed with.
PoliticsRe: Governors Of 19 Nigerian States Under Buhari - Most Are Millionaires Now. by mensdept: 6:04am On Mar 27, 2011
Buhari is not a democrat. He is part and parcel of the rogues that have misruled Naija. How can our so-called democracy be led continously by military men in khaki? Are we that militarized/colonized? Dayum.

Is Major General, Wing Commander, Chief, Commodore, General Officer Commanding all we are about in NIGERIA? Is that all we know and eat?

In serious nations the government/people is more important than the military, but in Naija the Military is more important than the nation. That is and as we have seen since 1966, a recipe for disaster.

There's no way a coupist is gonna come and deliver Nigeria, yes, the so-called hope of Africa, to the promised land. Never.

Sounds like you are not suffering from the miliatrized experience that Pro-Buhari fools had and continue to experience. For them we need military rulers to forever rule us, especially those from the 70s and early 80s. They post pixs of town squares (mainly in the north) of thousands-the same thousands that gather to kill Christians and Southerners in Jos and Kano because they have nothing better to do- who gather to poke nose at what Buhari is (not) saying.

The same happens in the SW and East, where candidates that could not run in developed nations are running, some recontesting (though they were already governor, senator, ammbassodor, minister) to come and loot again, and the people who have no light or road gather to cheer and clap.

These nairaland pixs simply show that our people are still mostly babies, cowards, and members of OWAMBE all night long.
