Fines were also imposed on the companies involved and some foreign officials were jailed. Nigeria was expected to follow up and prosecute the prominent Nigerians involved and also make the foreign companies involved paid penalty. Sadly these prominent Nigerians are still walking freely and PMB is afraid to prosecute them. We are even fortunate that USA agreed to pay us $200M out of the fines. We are indeed fantastically corrupt. My problem is the Nigerian youths and some Zombies who are so blinded by ethnicity and party to see how the so call 'Saints' are looting this country and pretending to fight corruption..

When the Haliburton case was prosecuted was there any entity called APC?

For Zombies who I know will be lazy to do research: Halliburton scandal took place under OBJ.

You are suggesting the Haliburton case that was "successfully" concluded and fines paid be reopened? Though it's pathetic that Nigeria got cheated either ways: first by the companies and again by the court that awarded the fines. Imagine USA making $Billions on our head, and we are not even supposed to ask how "our" $200m was spent

So in your mind it would be easier to reinvestigate the case than investigate what happened to the fines that was paid?
