Pavarottii:It's our attitude that got us here, will keep us here until we decide to "change" our attitude and move on irrespective of how hungry we get. The sermon is "we need to change our non productive ways" |
AtlanticBreeze:So I should start crying? USA went through recession twice and is still standing, so what? It's our attitude that will extend this recession longer than necessary. |
This guy is funny, so there is no one person worthy of holding an office in PMB's administration? When will we get over GEJ's electoral defeat? For the records, GEJ is not coming back for anything. |
That's a non issue. I have followed several of my female friends to church just to satisfy my curiosity, make her happy while letting her know that the relationship is not dependent on my continuance in following her to church. Spiritual growth is not a function of the church (which at best provides the props) but the effort one puts into developing ones Spiritual self. |
All these to justify his divorce. In the Spiritual hierarchy, you are either male or female, depending if you are giving or receiving. |
"Therefore, everything that is written in the Torah should not be perceived by us not as history, but as an instruction manual. All the actions described in the Torah are positive: all the devastations, including the ruin of the First and the Second Temples, wars, adultery and murder. We only need to realize what exactly the Torah is telling us. And one can understand it correctly only if he stops perceiving it as a collection of injunctions referring to the mechanical performance of commandments." . . . " We received our entire Torah, all of the knowledge about the spiritual worlds, from our Great Patriarchs, who ascended spiritually above our world, sensed the Upper Worlds, and described them to us. This is how we received the whole Torah—both the written and the oral parts. We cannot imagine the spiritual world because our sensory organs cannot detect it. Thus, to describe the objects and concepts still unattainable by us, Kabbalists use several techniques, languages. The whole Torah speaks only of the creation, governing, and correction of the world; never about history, geography, or anything else. As it is said in the Torah itself, the Torah is the sacred names, that is, manifestations of the Creator, the degrees and methods of His attainment." ~ The Zohar |
I have come to understand that going to church has become a vice holding people captive. It is now an ego booster, a reason to look down on another person. I have come to understand that the ego is the enemy one has to overcome to advance spiritually. |
There is one thing Grace can't do for you: overcome your ego. |
Gradually people are seeing the Light. |
hommespecia:Hahahaha Your strength no carry. "real men" are marrying 3 on the strength of a Bible verse, ask the Congolese. ![]() |
I think the owner is a troublesome or fearful fellow, why? Once he enters his room and pulls up the ladder, how are you going to reach him? B) landlord. |
If only you know what Nigerian men are prepared to do to legally have one more woman to spice up his life. |
She is eating her way through life. |
Jesus said "my Kingdom is not of this world," yet pastors are using his name to build personal empires, while the spiritual enlightenment of the congregants is shunted. We have failed to use our God given sense of reasoning. |
Is that a joke or what? |
Jesus came to show the way to overcome the ego and set us on the path of spiritual rebirth to reunite with the Creator. Asking and waiting for Jesus to come back shows the ego is still controlling us and we are not ready to embark on the journey of spiritual rebirth, which is personal, tough and has a price tag: overcoming ones ego. |
That's a good conclusion turned upside down. You have to be poor in egoistic pleasures to attain spiritual rebirth, does not necessarily mean being financially poor. |
What did you say she invented? |
It suppose be Mark Nsukabread |
Well said, few of us will accept it... |
1 bottle of original schnapps for you. "We are the risk takers" |
Any new innovation that threatens the status quo is always resisted. |
The people of Sodom and Gomorrah were not known for being Godless (or worshipping a particular God) but being homosexuals. Lumping atheist and homosexuals as one is ignorant. There is an Anglican Bishop (currently in the news) that is homosexual , does that make him an atheist? It's like saying since Nigeria was described as "fantastically corrupt", all Nigerians are homosexuals, as corruption is a form of Godlessness and doing as one pleases. |
kazuna:That was Europe and the flavour of Christianity then and now are not the same. Christianity was not brought to us for emancipation but control. I have been reading the Zohar and realized that the purpose of Christianity, as we have it, is at variance with what the Zohar teaches. Science is never at variance with religions. It is the pleasure of Elokim (bible Elohim) to conceal a thing (scienctific knowledge) and the privilege of kings (scientists) to find it. ~Bible |
It's not about colonization, Because virtually every continent or country was colonized at one point or another in history. It's about our strong held belief that science/technology and religion (especially Christianity/islam) are immiscible. |
When the concept of democracy was conceived, I don't think the aristocratic monarchs accepted it with open arms. a new concept of circulating money is concieved, and not controlled by the established Financial system, it won't accept with open arms. |
I await to read the counter attack. OP forgot to add that Pastors/Imams use the atheist and Agnostic platforms to preach hate messages against the atheist, Agnostic and other idolatrous religious thought, and love messages to their members. What a paradox. |
How is the cash call $2bn/year, and the outstanding was $6bn in 2015, and $7.4bn in 2016 and $20bn in ten years time? |
This is what happens when a boy thinks he is a man, and takes on a man's responsibilities. There is a Bible verse that says "when/if you want to build a house, sit down and count the cost" I feel for the widow that will now carry the load alone. So sad. |
So now we will be watching movies with our fridge in the kitchen... Good. ![]() |
You Are awakening... |
drizzydrag:I never doubted a fish being that big, just the way he was holding it with no apparent support. |
