Literature › Re: Bibliophobia; The Moribund Art Of Reading by menxer: 8:31am On Aug 15, 2016 |
Emeka71: Sometimes I wonder why some people hate reading. I think it is because they can't hold their focus on a book or lines of text for long. If you check such people love nollywood, Telemundo et al as little to no mental exertion is required. Typical example are those calling for a summary of the OP. 2 Likes |

GloryIsaac: Pain in patients with multiple sclerosis
https://www.livescience.com/images/i/000/027/176/original/medical-marjuana-120514.jpg Marijuana may reduce feelings of burning, tingling or numbness, as well as pain from muscle spasms, in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), according to a 2014 review study . The study found strong evidence that oral cannabis extract, which is a pill made from CBD, or a combination of THC and CBD, can help with these symptoms, the researchers said. However, not enough studies have been conducted to determine whether smoking marijuana helps with symptoms of MS, the review found That's true, I can attest to that. I once had tingling and burning sensation that initially I thought was infection, and a pharmacist prescribed antibiotics which gave little to no relief, until I took a Marijuana gin extract at a friend's place (my first time) and the sensation disappeared with the "highness." It was an unintended discovery. |

tiwiex: My brother. U just made a very important point here. No one seems to be mentioning Nigerian movies. No wonder our economy is such a mess. We either subconsciously did nor consider our movies without told not to or our movies are nor worth watching twice. I know that's not true, so we just over westernized out thoughts. Me sef dwy guilty because Naija film no cross my mind at all oh. I don't think so, there are few movies I have watched up to 5x and still like... Nollywood are dramas, I don't think I have watched any twice, they are just too predictable and straight forward, nothing to fire up my imagination. nastyesco: Is it Dollar that they don't have that CBN is instructing them on the margin to sell This is like a father who didn't pay his child sch fees but told him that he must come first at the end of the term So paying your child's school fees is a guarantee your child will have the best result at end of term? It doesn't follow. For a system to work all players involved must want it to work. |

MorningLight: And then you'll go live in a country where there's disciple if not more discipline...
You guys still don't want to stop behaving like goats... stop pissing in public places... stop disturbing the neighbourhood with blaring musics.. stop throwing dirts by the roadside... doing parties right in the middle of the road.. And then you want to go to a country where you'll serve jail term if you're caught doing all of these..... Now who's the goat..?? You dey mind them? Is it possible to separate indiscipline from corruption? How can we build a world class society while we still exhibit precolonial mentality and lifestyle? For PMB to reintroduce war against indiscipline means we are somehow still where we were (discipline wise) prior 1984 |
