Well i heard too much of it is not good, so i only use it when am going out. I can use 1 single bitter cola for a whole week... i just cut dem into tiny pieces, 1 per day and i dont chew. Just use it with care

I don't know if I should call this a BS, but just to appreciate the women here for being strong always.
Wifey put to bed yesterday at about 5.33pm, mother and baby girl are doing fine. Our last scan was Saturday 4th of August baby's weight was a 3.4kg at 40 weeks. The doctors relied on that scan report to say if my wife didn't fall into labour during the week she would be induced. Tuesday no labour yet, so she was admitted and induced. Wednesday morning the contractions had started but we discussed with the doctor to do a CS but he said her pelvic was fine to deliver the baby.

My wife kept complaining that the pains was too much she dilated from 2cm to 8cm at 3pm. I had to go drag the doctor when I realized the pain was too much for my wifey. Doctor checked her to see if she had gotten to 10cm, only for him to say she wouldn't be able to push out the baby and suggested they carry out an emergency surgery. Something we should have done earlier instead of all the pains she went through.
At 4.35pm or thereabouts she was stretched to the theatre and we thank God mother and child are doing good.

My daughter weighed 4kg at birth, all thanks to coldstone, pizza and sweetened doughnuts. My wife always craved sweet things and if I didn't provide she would sulk all day [I have learned though]. Baby is currently under observation as she didn't cry immediately after birth.

Was told yesterday that she would only be on IV fluid to watch her. But today after the paediatrician saw her and checked her, he said she need food and they have started feeding her. Said she's doing much better.

This is our first child and we are grateful to God. Fatherhood is bliss.

I thank God for His faithfulness in my life. My marriage will be 8 years by September 11. TTC for 5 years, had my first conception 2015 which I lost and had another miscarriage 2016.
This pregnancy was a miracle. Have to let go and let God. I removed my mind completely from TTC. Alas! The pregnancy came. The pregnancy journey was do smooth, no morning sickness. The devil wanted to strike again in my 14th week but God intervened.
Fast forward to 24th July (exactlly 38 weeks)
My water broke around 2am on Tuesday, 24th July meanwhile I was asked to do scan and ogtt test in my previous appointment. I was to do the tests on that Tuesday against Thursday, my next appointment. As jjc , I went for the ogtt since is an early our test after which I went to report myself at the labour ward. They shouted and said I would have come since that my baby might be at risk of getting infected. I never knew I was in labour too, was having normal mild movement in my system ooo though been praying for painful labor. The doctor asked the nurse to check me , that was how they shouted that am in labour.
The mild contraction continued while they tied something round my tommy( used to monitor baby's heart beat). Have gotten to 6cm when doctor shouted that the baby heart beat is faster than normal, that they wouldn't want to give chances, that I will be going in for cs. My husband just left hospital. Was asked to call him back to sign for the cs which I did. After like 2 minutes the doctor came back and said that they can't wait for my husband , I was asked if I can read and write, I said yes. I signed the consent. They rushed me to the theatre. In less than few minutes my princess was brought out crying her lungs out. My husband rushed to the ward for the signing only for him to see the baby. He was very happy and said I took the right decision.
I was discharged on monday 30th, while my baby was still on admission for jaundice. Baby was discharged on the 1st of August.
It can only be God. I remain greatful to God for his mercy, Grace, favour......

Pregnacare worsened my morning sickness in my first trimester, I stopped it when I started antenatal at 13weeks and started taking hospital routine drugs too, I’m 27weeks and I have resumed pregnacare because I’m not taking fruits and I need all those vitamins and minerals. So you can stop and continue later when your body can handle it, mine couldn’t at 13weeks but can now.

I dey tell u . @Frozenelsa are u a first time mom? If u are like me, then it might take a while before u start seeing bump o. Am in my 13th week and I still dey use torch find am. Though body differs, so u never can tell. Messyodi and other Feb mamas, una bump don dey show?

I have a tini tiny bump although if i wear free clothes its not visible at all. Wish i cud show yall lol.

Don't know if u have registered for antenatal yet, if u have, u can be taking d routine drugs given to u there like fesolate,folic acid, b complex, vitamin c n Co. Put d pregnacare on hold for now till wen u r a bit advanced. That's my thought. Pele

Good afternoon fam,

I noticed whenever i take my drugs (pregnacare plus) i get sick d next day. There was a day I deliberately dint take it, and the following day i only vomitted once in d morning. But whenever i take d drug, the next day i can barely keep any food down. Im 13weeks gone. Im thinking of stopping the meds for now at least till i get better but is dat goin to be safe for my baby? Or which oda drug can i take.

Good morning mama's in the house. Am 13 weeks pregnant and this is my first. Everything is going on well aside the MS. But I have terrible heart palpitations that it makes me so tired that just a little walk leaves me panting. I ve done necessary tests and doctors can't seem to put a hand on it neither can they give me drugs cos am still at the early stage. This palpitations started when I got pregnant.
Pls has anyone gone through this and how did u get over it. Is there anything I can do to reduce the beats.

I have this too. If i walk a short distance omo my heart races lyk it wants to come out of my chest. To stand for long is even a problem. But i felt its normal because our body is pumping more blood. What do i know

By friday i will be 12weeks o. And i am still vomiting left , right, up centre. Whew . Iv been given several drugs and injections but dey just help me not vomit for a day and its back to square 1. I dont want to take treatment anymore ojare. In the end it will all be worth it

Yea i take just 1 dat i chop into like 3parts which lasts me for 3days. Not like i chew it sef. I just place it in my mouth . Dats small abi

I ate it o! Didn't have ms but chewed it for nausea. The only down side is I don't get to taste any other thing cos it overpowers my taste buds. Everything else tasted bland.

Yes it helps me stop spitting. But i dont know how safe it is for my baby

The MS thing ehn...it is well. It has been off and on these days for me. Recently, rice, cake,malt won't go down my throat. I ate beans and yam today, it was heavenly. It will end in praise. Bunny19, how are you doing?

Kpele my darling. I am experiencing the same thing, i am in my 11th week, i thought by now it wud have subsided? I vomit severally everyday and i just had to stop the pregnacare for now. I am on folic acid alone for now. The nausea is killing me

For me i put very dry bitter cola in my mouth and for lyk 5days now i havent used my spit cup. But i dont know how safe this method is. Someone told me it helpd her in her first trim and dats how i started and it really relieved the spitting ish.

Good evening guys, please i have been taking dried bitter cola of late. Not that i chew it. I just place in my mouth and the bitter taste helps my salvation. Please how safe is it because my moms been making a fuss about me taking it and how it’s unsafe.
