There are hundreds of Anambra military officers that started with Obasanjo, Diya and are no where near where Obj and Diya reached in their chosen profession, so don't downplay their achievements pls.

Cosmas Maduka and Adenuga in the same sentence? The only businessmen that should be mentioned in Adenuga's class are Dangote, Otedola, and maybe Jim Ovia.
Even Oba Otudeko(another Ogun son) is ahead of Coscharis and Innoson in entrepreneurship and wealth. Not to forget the Subomi Baloguns(FCMB owner, and father of merchant banking in Nigeria), another Ogun great who may not even enter Top 5 Ogun entrepreneurs.

That aside, you had to go back to Ojukwu Snr of the 40s to 60s to find a match for Adenuga in Anambra, guess what? At that time, Ogun had two representatives in the list of Nigeria's richest/most successful businessmen.

So in Ojukwu's generation, Ogun had two reps, in Adenuga's generation, bring a representative. Pls don't tell me Adenuga and Cosmas Maduka are in teh same class. Even Oba Otudeko(Honeywell group and highest shareholder in First Bank, and rated one of teh Top 10 richest Nigerians floors Maduka and Innoson, not to talk of The Bull himself.)

Please in Sir LP OJukwu's generation, no yoruba man was at par or even in the same category with him when it comes to richness. . . The only man that might be a distant second is the Dantata . . . . . Even today, another Anambrarian, Sir Emeka Offor, cant be compared with otedola or Adenuga. . . . . . . . . I wonder how someone can still be comparing Ogun with Anambra state after he/she has seen the endless list of business moguls and internatinally recognised academicians from that state. . . . . Thats like comparing ajibota with ajikpako. grin

I am still not convinced. I believe Ogun comes first. I ahve asked the Anambra people to bring their First 11 or Top 10 and let's compare with Ogun's.

A state that has produced Three Presidents(obj military, obj civilian, Shonekan), one VP(Diya), one elected but denied president(Abiola), Awolowo(Top 5 most powerful political leader in Nigeria's history).

Nigeria's only Nobel Laurette(Soyinka), Mike Adenuga(Top 3 living businessman, entrepreneur, richest Nigerian). And somebody is comparing some Nollywood stars or some ordinary ministers.

Which one be OBJ miliitary, OBJ civilian grin grin . . . . .  jarus pls try harder. . . . How can you be comparing OBJ with these greats:Zik of Africa, Nwafor Orizu, Alex Ekwueme, Okadigbo etc.

Politics / Re: Federal Govt Under Pressure To Arrest Tinubu by Metalgoong(m): 1:32am On Jan 10, 2011
Timmi:

Anyone that can forfeit over $500,000.00 to an American agency definitely stole the money and the same person after milking Lagos state dry is now parading himself as the savior of the southwest from the PDP. This charade of politicians that we have in Nigeria are all the same, all of them are thieves and riggers. We need to stop kidding ourselves and stop blaming one party while exonerating the other - PDP and ACN are all the same - corrupt and vote riggers.

Do not allow yourself to be used in aligning with any of the political parties, exercise your vote and vote your conscience, not along party lines. I will never vote for Tinubu for anything, but I might vote for the likes of Fashola, Aregbesola, Jonathan, not because of the party they belong to but because of their character.

Don't be used and dumped or better yet killed because of a politicians - especially people with dubious character like Tinubu. Their children are overseas enjoying our money that their father had looted and yet, innocent children and others are running errands, campaigning, demonstrating and in the process having their life wasted away.

Please wake up people and let your people in Nigeria be aware lest they will be used as usual.

WORD!!! . . . Tinubu is a bloody kleptomaniac who suppose to be recieving the Ibori treatment by now.

Well that's why its a referendum, its your opinion which you're entitled to assert even if I disagree with it, however I'd be willing to die for your right to assert it.

So far as you are aware that the majority of the Ndigbo populace might disagree with you.

I'm pretty sure that majority of Igbo populace would prefer an Igbo nation or Biafra instead of an unholy arrangement where they will be in the same state with Yoruba traitors.

I'm against any referendum that would put Ndigbo and Yoruba people into one state all in the name of Southern Nigeria.

If these other candidate has more grassroot support, what are they to worry about anyone's imposition? I don't know so much about these persons you mentioned but one thing you did not say is that they are bad in the job you said they are doing. If they are good, who care if they comes from the same mother and father, as long as they are there through the right process and on merit.
One thing I do know about Agulu people is their industrousness. I still remember a friend of my Dad in the 70s who is from Agulu and he was the proprietor of the famous EJIDIKE BREAD then and my father was asking him once why almost every known brand bread name then comes from Agulu? I think including the famous OUR LADIES BREAD (If I am not wrong), so I won't be surprised if the same thing happened in other aspects of life. I think also that most known supermarket (Home version) is own by an AGULU person too (check it out, I may be wrong).

But I don't want to dismiss your concern totally if all these Agulu people are there unmerit and I have no idea how Peter Obi will manage to impose ACN chairman or those you mentioned that are in the house of assembly, since they are from PDP, I think and were possibly among those those their vote impeached the same Peter Obi illegally.

It seems you know Agulu people very well . . You are right, their favorite business is bakery and retail (supermarkets).

This shows that IBB is strongly committed to the consensus agreement. . . . . GEJ will meet his political waterloo at the PDP presidential primary. I really pity the him.
