Fulani leaders had to send delegates to ask about the killings of their people, that was how brutal it was for them. Don't ever compare gbagyi & hausas to Yorubas, they are not in the same class. In the history of this country, fulani had been defeated by the Yorubas, Kanuris, Tivs & Igala.. Forget the present backup they're getting from the government, they can't fight an open fight. They are being massacred in Mali, Ghana, even by junkuns in taraba. Hausa man, It is not my fault that your ancestors failed you & your tribe. Shut up & take your L.

Ikechu12: Exactly why I don't speak on the fulani thing. The Fulanis have always had an expansion mindset since history. That's how they are, they've invaded and destroyed several ethnic groups and claimed lands all over West Africa. That's them but, they aren't this extra power tribe like Niggerians make them out as. There is a reason why Fulanis only attack in middle of the night or in large groups. As a tribe they are very weak. They can easily be tamed and have been all over West Africa except few. Most people aren't aware that Guinea has the largest number of Fulanis yet, they rarely create problem in that side of the West Africa. The same with Cape Verde. Most of the slaves taken to Cape Verde were Fulanis. The Portuguese it was it spinards (I can't remember) tamed the living shit out of them in that island. Infact, 95% of cape verdian are mixed and that's because the Europeans that took them to that island made them their fucking bitch. They aren't this overly strong group. They are only when given advantage and looking at Niggeria, the singular factor on fulani going rampage is Afonjas. Nobody else, not even the Hausa. That's very pathetic. As I said yes Massa slaves Will you deny that fulani gained advantage beginning on Jan 15 1966? Since you are knowledgeable about West Africa and Nigeria , share with us what political advantage fulani in Nigeria had prior to 1966. Ikechu12: My exact opinion. This is exactly why I have absolutely not even a shred of pity for Afonjas in all those reports of Fulanis invading, rapping and murdering their people. I have zero pity for them. Reason being THEY DON'T CARE as long as they are in politics. It's pathetic to a sense. Just completely pitiful.
People wondered why they were quiet throughout the time Fulanis were going rampage in middle belt and reason why they reported the killings have always been there so why are complaining now; claiming that people are complaining in attempt to make Buhari look bad. It's also reasons osibanjo claimed the reports of fulani attacks are fake. Afonjas are willing to sell the entire nation to anything just gain power in 2023. Quote me on this, they'll have no problem selling the entire shithole to Boko Haram if it means Tinubu becomes president in 2023. Quote me on that.
I'm sure they trying to figure how to pass the blame to Igbo. Shit they already blaming imaginary Igbos on social media..look at Adekina Grandson or whatever that mentally deranged nigga name is wrote recently. My little submission is that these crimes are not necessarily committed by these herdsmen because a lot of people who have been in this crime for long in those routes are now using it as a cover to commit their crimes. It doesnt matter if you have spent five lifetimes, each as long 70yrs, going up and down that road, your position does not agree with facts on this issue. Maiwada said many things...in fact he talked too much.
One of the key points in what he said is that if we attack their people we also have people up there they can attack. This has always been their hook to use to keep us in check. They always throw it up each time they sense we are about to go wild. Maiwada has not listened to Adeyinka Grandson, if he had he would realize that point is managable and even though it would be a loss it is short term and a far better option to cut everything loose in a flash point than to continue babysitting a degenerate region and backward people.
We can afford to loose a million lives now if doing save will save twenty million more who are in need of progress and sustainable future but are held back as hostage in a retrogading nation under the leadership of religious fanatics and terrorists.
Aare Gani Adams, even as a tout, is far better than nobilities in Arewa.
What is the legacy of Arewa nobility, is it not terrorism? Isnt the cause of dan fodio a terroristic raid and forceful conversion and trafficking of humans? ....and thats the founder of their nobility in North.
Just few years ago did the over 70yr old Emir of Katsina not kidnapa christian 14yr old girl and forced her into marriage and conversion into Islam...and then declared it is irreversible?
Wasn't Emir of Kano Sanusi the financier and instigator of a brutal riot that claimed many lives in North just few years ago.....and you knew this and still gave him coronation?
We have a list of bullshyyte in North we can roll out and use their nobility to mop the dirty floor. |

Politics › Re: There Is No War In South, Why Do We Turn To Peacemakers With Fulani? by MetaPhysical(op): 7:02am On Jul 14, 2019 |
Whenever Nigeria does something to Yoruba in which Yoruba feels it is a risk to challenge the issue, then Yoruba, by that inaction, has delegated domination over itself.
Domination is a dimension of authority. Relationships should be managed by expectations and understandings. When someone steps out of the expectations it results in undesired outcomes and diminishes the relationship. Therefore when unexpected behaviors are tolerated worse outcomes can be expected. When the worse outcomes themselves are tolerated then the relationship is no longer that between peers, it is now between a dominant bully and the docile victim.
More dimensions of authority ahead.
To be continued.... |
Politics › Re: There Is No War In South, Why Do We Turn To Peacemakers With Fulani? by MetaPhysical(op): 6:45am On Jul 14, 2019 |
May the soul of Mrs Funke Olakunrin rest in peace!
Her death is a loss to Yoruba Nation. Why so? The answer lies in the relationship between the people, their leadership and authority bestowed on the leadership.
Yoruba culture is arranged around a leadership in the center - whether a dynastic head, a symbolic head that rose through consensual acceptance by the people, or simply one forced upon us by statutory mandates. The role of a leader is to maintain balance between extreme positions and burden of demands placed on the community as an outcome of interactive exchanges between the people. In other words, exchanges between different people in the community will raise distrusts, accusations, prejudice, rivalry, envy, and so on...and ends in chaos and confrontations. Therefore the head serves as the agent that keeps orderliness and harmony in society. To do this effectively he will fit the role of Policeman, the Judge and the Priest! In Yorubaland there are actually deities that occupy these positions. The head cannot do it all alone so he keeps a council of helpers. But so that the headship is not corrupted with the chaos and confrontations bedeviling society he places immunity to buffer and keep the council sacred. This sacredness and immunity is what we loosely call division of powers. The Oba, the Ogboni and the Esho - Priest, Judge, Police! These three arms of traditional Yoruba headship rule by power of authority. A leader must have authority! So now, what is authority?
Authority is relative and must always be willfully negotiated, contracted and agreed....it must be available for review every so often for needed changes. Authority is delegation....that is, I am surrendering my interests and needs to the trust of someone with whom I share a joint hold in risks and gains. It is very important to understand this explanation.
All Yoruba jointly share in risks and gains confronting Yoruba. All Igbo jointly share in risks and gains confronting Igbo. All Hausa/Fulani jointly share in risks and gains confronting Hausa/Fulani. A Yoruba does not share ownership in the Igbo and Hausa/Fulani risks and gains, and neither does any of them share in ours...to each his own! However, if we are interested in co-owning Igbo and Hausa/Fulani risks and gains, then we must step out from under the Yoruba headship and enter into a bigger domain known as Nigeria, the headship of which is central also and resides in Abuja.
In the Nigerian domain where we share risks and gains, what are the contracts each of the ethnic tribes willfully negotiated and agreed to with the headship in Abuja? Did SS negotiate to have 87% of of its resources become a national gain...or was this forced on them at gun point? Are the risks suffered by people in SS also shared at the ratio of 13% to 87%? The produce in SE is a gain to all in Nigeria...but what about their risks, is it borne by all as well or are the people left to carry their own risks and burdens? What produce is Hausa/Fulani bringing to the table for co-ownership by all? What risks are you sharing with all? Under the common domain, Nigeria, is there fairness, is there equity, is there peerage?
Yoruba can turn away from the common domain and survive underneath its own central headship and grow progressively in co-ownership within its own peerage across length and breadth of Yorubaland. We can consider Nigeria to be a benefit if through that union our risks and burdens is a load carried by others in similar way that our gains are received by them. We know this is not the case because we are the only region that carry everybody's load.
So in summary, leadership is key but authority is supreme!
I will talk about the different dimensions of authority next.
To be continued... |
