Herdsmen crisis: Ihedioha summons meeting between security agencies, Miyetti Allah

- Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo state orders security agencies to meet with the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) - Raymond Nkemdirim, Ihedioha’s security adviser, confirms the governor's order, which is the result of alleged invasion of farmlands in Imo - Nkemdirim also confirms that the governor was already waiting for the outcome of the meeting The governor of Imo, Emeka Ihedioha, on Tuesday, July 10, asked the heads of security agencies to summon a meeting with the leadership of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) concerning alleged invasion of farmlands by herdsmen. This position was made known by Raymond Nkemdirim, the governor’s special adviser on security. Vanguard reports that Nkemdirim said: “We have asked the heads of security agencies to engage the leadership of Miyetti Allah and get back to us quickly so that we can make a decision on the matter.”

Nkemdirim said the government was waiting for the outcome of the meeting. “They have already started the interface and before the end of today (yesterday) they will get back to us,” he said. Meanwhile, the report said stakeholders from communities in the south east zone recently noted that beefing up community vigilance groups remains one of the ways to effectively tackle security challenges in the area.

It was learnt that the decision was reached at a meeting of the Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) at Umuchu, Aguata local government area of Anambra state.

Ruga aside, those regions have other important things to attend to in their own internal affairs. In SE, leaders have issued a daily statement on this ruga, sometimes two press releases a day.

Let’s explore the option of going our separate ways.
The North will enjoy themselves in their country without unwanted Southern sabi sabi. They will have lots of fun & collaboration with their natural brothers from Niger and Chad.

Southern Nigeria Republic will secure a permanent solution to perennial conflict of post-election bloodshed if northern anointed candidates don’t win, overall northern hegemony, general stagnation, Northern domination agenda etc.

The regions in the South (West, East, South south) can restructure, exist independent of one another and develop at their own pace.

We just have to break away from this current madness for the sake of our future generation.

You said "Let’s explore the option of going our separate ways", then you lumped SW with SS and SE.

Since when did SW join the "our" gang with SE? grin

Our separate ways in SW means Yoruba standing alone and independent of any other, whether SS or SE.

Yoruba is not afraid of being by itself, in fact thats what we prefer.
