AgentOfAllah: To be fair, I was the first to admit, if you read my post again, that seeking to deescalate conflict is a radical, and, you might even say "dangerous" idea. As I see it, peaceful resolution of a crisis situation is a far more compelling dangerous situation to be in than, say, something like interethnic war. But that's just my sentiment dominated reasoning though. What does your non-sentimental reasoning say? We have a law which says its unlawful to possess unlicensed guns. Assault rifles in private ownership is completely banned. This crisis has many roots but the immediate and most pressing is lethal assault by fulani herdsmen. So why are you calling for deescalation of an unlawful act? Shouldnt enforcement of law be the first criteria here? |

The idea of Yoruba traitors in conjunction with the igbos doing everything to destroy Yorubaland while pointing at fulani won't work. igbos and fulani pose serious danger to Yorubaland. So anyone addressing one and leaving the other is just a political hack, if anything, igbos are more dangerous and must be the first to deal with not fulani.
Like someone told my aunt today, there's going to be a serious clash between Yoruba first, the traitors among us must be destroyed first. It's really a waste of time facing igbos or fulani without settling the scores among us. Very well said! |

Only God can save Nigeria. Fulani is not a mystery. Fulani is visible. Fulani bleeds. Fulani cries. Fulani flees. In October 2013, ASA LG, Kwara State. Fulani herder killed a Yoruba farmer for protesting destruction of his farm. The people did not go to police, they went to OPC. Overnight the entire fulani village where the herder lived was wiped out. Herders, their wives, their children...all wiped off and the village razed down. Survivors fled and till today that village has not been rebuilt because they promised they would never return to it. That was the extent of their complete demolition. So fulani's storm will be met with a hurricane. |

This is very relevant, and indeed revealing of the culpability of fulani herdsmen in the death of Mrs Olakunrin. June 27th, exactly two weeks to July 12th when Mrs Olakunrin was killed by the herdsmen. - Commissioner of police in Ondo state Undie Adie has met the leaders of Miyetti Allah, Hausa and Fulani community
- The meeting was reportedly held over cases of incessant kidnappings in the state
- Undie consequently urged Fulani and Hausa groups to call their people who are involved in kidnapping to order
Following incessant cases of kidnappings in Ondo, the state commissioner of police, Undie Adie has met the leaders of Miyetti Allah, Hausa and Fulani community in the state.
According to TVC, the meeting followed the recent abduction along Akure/Ikere road.
The commissioner was reported to have said that the meeting became imperative in order to partner with different interest groups to curb incessant cases of abduction in the state
Going further, he was said to have warned the leaders of Fulani and Hausa groups to call their people who are involved in kidnapping to order.
Adie also urged them to always reveal the identify of strange faces in their midst to the police.

You all don't actually know what is happening... Tinubu anti yoruba stance and silence is NOT because of 2023...
It is because both Tinubu, Buhari, El Rufai, Dambazua and co are actually the people that brought in this herdsmen to dispose GEJ in eventually Baba loss the election, but he won. Infact Tinubu was the sole financier.
This herdsmen are actually Fulani mercenaries
The middle men in the deal was Myetti Allah ...
Tinubu is guilty of every murder of these herdsmen in Southwest and Nigeria. Bullshyyte! Are you aware that in a past age, precisely October of 2010, Buhari as a private citizen went with his miyetti allah goons to confront Oyo Governor, Alhaji Lam Adeaina, over massacre of fulanis in Oke Ogun by Yorubas? Umar Yardadua was President that year. Alhaji Adeshina inherited the issue of farmer/herder clash from previous administration. Was Tinubu the middleman in that episode? |
Politics › Re: Tinubu, Obasanjo And The Fulani Threat In Yoruba Land by MetaPhysical: 11:41pm On Jul 17, 2019 |
Bulleye: The road Tinubu is about to travel now is familiar to Obasanjo . However it appears Tinubu is not well versed in Nigeria's politics and is therefore daydreaming. Can Tinubu be more pro-north than Obasanjo? What has Tinubu done for the so-called north that makes him think he is adored by them? How much sacrifice can Tinubu make to please the north compared to what Obasanjo has done? While Obasanjo definitely has his flaws it is better to trust his judgement on the current political situation in Nigeria . Has Tinubu observed how the Lords of the manor called Nigeria turned Obasanjo to their punching bag despite all he has done for them? Who is then Tinubu? Should I say Tinubu is foolish or naïve? Can't Tinubu read the handwriting on the wall.? As things stand now in Yoruba Land Tinubu can. never be at the forefront of pushing Yoruba agenda in the project Nigeria. Should Tinubu continue like this Yoruba would be worse off than the Hausa: Tinubu by 2023 would be a prince without a kingdom and the Yoruba would be slaves in their land . Tinubu has played his role and should leave the scene . A war is ravaging Yoruba Land and Tinubu cannot lead the Yoruba at war front You made a very cogent point, one I cannot dispute. I must give you a counter position, not to discredit what you wrote, which by all means is true...but to troubleshoot the political balance in 2023. It is evident that if any ethnic group has a true counter action to fulani madness that group is only Yoruba, either through politics or armed confrontation. 2023 is all about politics and it all hinges on Nigeria remaining a sovereingty, restructured or not. If Nigeria is still a sovereign nation fulani must be displaced from power, by all means. The longer fulani remains in power the more accessible he is to all the tools of nationhood and is therefore able to effectively implant his ethnic group as a majority and perharps in extreme cases even supplant fulfulde as official language. So his hold on power must be broken. Also, he would expect a return of that power to him in 8yrs, at most. That expectation must also be broken. When power returns to North a non-fulani, non-muslim, must be elected as president, who occupies for at most 8yrs and it comes back South and must again be occupied for 8yrs by Ibos. So what im saying is North comprises of many different ethnic groups, not only should we rotate power North, we must also intervene to ensure it cycles through the different groups up there. The root of fulani arrogance here is a sustained sense of entitlement to power. They have never been told or trained to expect anything else. Their training now starts now...into 2023...and beyond! Fulani is who must be punished and denied access to power, not Tinubu! In the case where Nigeria is no more....Tinubu would be forced to do what he wont do now, i.e. work with other godfathers in Yorubaland. |

OdumegwuOjukwu: Well, until recently, the killings have been alluded to Hausa/Fulanis. I don't really know if Hausas are part of the killings or the Fulanis have insidiously added their name to their nefarious act to provide some element of formidability. Basically, I am not sure if Hausa are also perpetrators or just victims. After living with them for many years the Hausas have acquired bad habits and became like fulani. We must purge them and get them back to who they were in their ancestry. All the indigeneous people of Nigeria have a traditional faith, underneath the outward faiths of Islam and Christianity. The traditional faith is what tied us all together and encouraged brotherhood and harmony. Fulani does not have anything but islam. They are determined to wipe out any ethnic that practices anything else but islam. They must go. How can one kafir come and destabilize and dictate what over 200 other native people believe and live by? The single exception faith practiced by fulani must be sacked from this part of the world. Kanuri, Hausa, Gwari, Angas, Tiv, Jukun, Zabarma, Nupe, Idoma, Kabba .....all the way to South with Ibo, Urhobo, Ijaw, Isoko, Efik, Ogoni, Kalabari, Tshekiri, Edo, Yoruba.... No one of these ever forced the other by sword or dagger to abandon its faith, and we all practiced and believed in different things....until fvkng Dan Fodio and fulani nomads got here. In Hausaland python was sacred In Iboland python was sacred In Kanuriland water was sacred In Yorubaland water was sacred. Everyone between these extremes shared in some commonality. Not fulani...only thing sacred to him is cow. He should mount the back of his gaddem cow and head back to his ancestors in futa jallon. We need to cleanse the land and sanctify it to the glory of our indigeneous ancestors. We will practice islam in our own way we dont need fulani style of islam....what they call islam is indeed terrorism. Wake up people! |

Biodun556: Lagos state alone consumes 600,000 cows perday.
The Fulanis sells cow while Yorubas are the butchers and sellers of beef. There are hundreds of thousands of butchers and beefs sellers spread across major and local markets in Lagos and other parts of the region.
The major source of protain in Nigeria, especially in the South West are beef and milk which Fulanis are the major suppliers.
People castigates Fulanis by calling them different names but send their wives to market to buy beef, they go to buka and order assaulted meat but dont care where these are coming from.
If the Fulanis take their leave, the price of food will rice to more than hundred percent. There will be severe malnutrition and loss of job among butchers and beef sellers.
We must realise the economic importance of the Fulanis and other tribes in Nigeria. Larger percent of the food will consume in Nigeria especially in the South West comes from the North. Beans, rice, spices and other grains are supplied by the Northerners; the Hausas to be precise while the Fulanis supply the beef; our major source of protain.
We must learn how to separate criminals from genuine business men. We must not let politicians create fear and false alarm which does not go beyond their imagination and perception.
Isn't it funny that some people refer to cattle as a mere animal? Yet we consume millions of tonnes of milk and beef daily.
No country in the World take cattle business for granted because of its nutritional and economic value. If RUGA settlement is rejected, our governors should take up the challenge by establishing the likes in the states to stop importation of milk , create employment and tackle food shortages.
It's a shame that we are importing palm oil into the country, if Fulani Herdmen issue is not well addressed, we will start importing beef also.
Importation of palm oil shows how lazy we are in agriculture in the South. The Northerners are the one showing keen interest in farming and we must not toil with their potentials and stop generalising. Very silly talk! We call on fulani to modernise by ranching but Yoruba is not able to modernise and start producing own beef? Very very silly input from a fulani masquerading as Yoruba. |

YORUBA YOUTHS PROTEST IN ABUJA - Some groups including the Yoruba Collectives have marched on the streets of Abuja to call attention to the rising cases of insecurity in Nigeria - Led by Comrade Ariyo-Dare Atoye, the protesters demanded for justice, restructuring and a review of the country's security architecture - The protesters also reminded President Muhammadu Buhari that Nigerians supported him massively in 2015 because of belief in his capacity to secure the country A group, the Yoruba Collectives, and some supporting organizations stormed Abuja on Wednesday, July 17, in protest against the killing of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of leader of Afenifere, Reuben Fasonranti, by suspected bandits. The coalition which asked the presidency to take strong actions against criminals and those causing insecurity in the country, expressed worry that it is now difficult for farmers to go about their activities. The protesters, led by Comrade Ariyo-Dare Atoye, said they were demanding justice, restructuring and the overhauling of the nation’s security architecture from the federal government. They also demanded an end to open grazing across the country. “Our nation is trapped and encircled by forces of anarchy and terror. Our people groan in pain. Our lands are subjected to evil capture while injustice thrives as a rule in our nation. “Woe betides a nation where truth is forsaken and falsehood is elevated to statecraft. Our dear nation Nigeria is at the brink of imaginable catastrophe except we act to stop the impending doom,” the group told journalists during the protest. The group lamented that critics of insecurity in the country are now tagged enemies of the current administration. While noting that the security challenges predate the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, but that the issues had been terribly aggravated. "Security trumps every other consideration for many Nigerians who worked selflessly in 2015 for the ascension of President Muhammadu Buhari to power. "Even those who did not vote for President Buhari believed or had believed that security is one area where the president will excel, but today, even Katsina, the home state of our dear president is under the threats of bandits," the protesters said. The group said the murder of Olakunrin by suspected herdsmen along the Benin-Ore highway had brought to the fore the terrible experience of ordinary people and local communities in the hands of bandits. Daboomb: In addition to that, they have realised that "real power" lies in owning LAND and not in nomadic roaming about. They have thus decided that they will own as much land as possible, in any country that allows them, using violence and terror to get their way.
Importing Fulani POPULATION and GRABBING LAND, is their twin objective. They tried it in some West african countries including Ghana bu tthey were repelled by the authorities.
It is ONLY IN NIGERIA that one of them became the President/Ruler, an an ardent one for that matter. So, he is using all the resources available to him, to pursue this "Land grabbing Agenda" of the Fulanis from all over West Africa, be it the military and other security forces, our financial resources, e.t.c
But to steal someones land, occupy it and live there perenially, is a more difficult objective to achieve because you will have to either exterminate all of them (which is the strategy of the Fulanis Buhari imported to Nigeria) or so much intimidate them that they cant fight back (which is similar to the situation of the Palestinians and the Israelis in the Middle East).
I was watching a TV programme this morning where one Fulani leader who was their guest said "Anywhere the nomadic Fulani has his COW and Family", is Their HOME and they are entitled to Land in those places, be it in Okigwe in the East, Oke Ogun in the South West or Tiv land in the Middle Belt or anywhere for that matter"
Now, anyone who examines that statement closely will see that the Fulanis have made up their mind to steal land from the indigenes, at all cost. So the RUGA charade of Buhari being peddled by some uninformed and ignorant Nigerians (even in the affceted areas), is just a smokescreen for land-grab and it is a foundation for a prolonged tribal war which will make Rhuwanda and Somalia, child's play.
The Middle Belt and the people of Southern Nigeria (SE, SS, SW) better be prepared for what is about to hit them and stop all these 'between-themselves-bickering (especially the Igbos and Yorubas) otherwise, they will be wasted before they even realise it. You dont have to agree, before you can forge a common front against a common EXISTENTIAL ENEMY. Arm yourself properly and prepare to defend your fatherland against foreign Fulanis that your President has imported to kill you and take over your land.
Self Preservation and Self Defense is a spiritual obligation of every humanbeing.
BTW: A lot of the so called "Leaders" from Southern Nigeria, are prepared to throw their people under the bus and sell them out, just because they want to be in the "good books" of Buhari and they have a political ambition that they know could be affected if there is resistance from Southern Nigeria/Middle belt and they side with the truth. Beware of such leaders because a house divided against itself cannot stand, those sort of leaders are the first that need to be weeded out, because they are traitors! One of them has the effrontery to go to Pa Fasonranti's house, a day after his daughter was murdered by Fulani Herdsmen, to tell him to his face that "herdsmen are not kidnappers afterall, Evans was not a Herdsman"! But l hope he was reminded that Evans does not operate from the forest and shoot and kill innocent people at random, notto mention that "survivors" saw and knew those who attacked them Very nice input, love it! |

The heads of cows in that herd is almost 5000, if not more. It is wrong to have these many cattle in one village, the whole farm in that village will be overwhelmed and completely ruined if these many animals are grazed in the community.
So it is clear that fulani is not only using weapon to destroy lives, even when not carrying weapon, these many heads of cows is enough to ruin livelihood in the community. The cows themselves are weapons of mass destruction..
This is good move by the villagers. Cows should be quartered in one place with ground management or other means to give it sustenance.
The Hausa NW says they are moving South due to desertification. But bringing these many cows into a village will also destroy feeding for population. So they cannot run from scarcity up there to cause scarcity elsewhere.
Nobody told their forefathers to vacate futa jallon and come here. If there is no grass left in Hausa NW to feed they should head back to futa jallon, there is plenty grass and water there for their cows. South has its indigenous population and native emdowments, they must not be dispossessed. Land and territorial competition has always been cause of war....land is security, fulani cannot secure itself by denying others security. Kudos to the villagers!
If they attempt to attack or if the govt condemn the villagers we must all speak up and defend those people with our voice and action.
