Lots of you idiots chest beating, e go soon clear for una eye. Yes, we have good soil in the South, but how many of us cultivates it, na we dey carry English for head with nothing to show for it, we've receded in what we excelled in: farming. Majority of what we eat comes from the north, not because we don't have the means, we are just too lazy to cultivate it and yet you all are rejoicing that they diverted a local supply to another country........
Southerners are not lazy, stop peddling unfounded lies. If southerners outsourced farming it's because it's not seen as a high profit business especially with the kind of farming practiced in Nigeria (non-mechanized). It's only natural to leave it to those who will be comfortable wasting useful time while earning peanuts. Why do you think America outsources labor to China?

Are you saying I'm not educated? You must have missed my comments in the other crypto threads.

If they benefited from it, they wouldn't have bugded .

So as civil citizens all we can do is to comply , hopefully they'll come around
You don't just hope and comply with sensitive issues like this ,you make your voice heard and apply pressure through whatever means ,these sort of policies have the potential to impact the most vulnerable people first,do you think our politicians are the most vulnerable in our society? They are also fighting for their interests , have they reduced their monthly allowances yet?why do you think they refuse to talk about it?

Nigeria is a sovereign country, if they've decided to ban it, so be it.

As a law abiding citizen , i can only follow the law, i mightn't like it though .

It's pretty pointless crying all over the internet about the crypto ban, we have bigger issues as Nigerians.
What is a bigger issue than the stoppage of $200million weekly forex inflow into a crumbled economy in a pandemic, we need better education in this country honestly.

some black men will never have common sense to think for themselves, so you're willing to shut your economy in a time of lockdown just because someone else tells you there's some fraudulent transactions. Funny thing is despite all the gun violence in America they haven't banned guns, the person telling you has not shutdown Bitcoin in their own country rather they even make money creatively from it using tax. Africa wake up

The first thing that hits you is how people come here and talk about not engaging in a struggle with the criminals without a single one talking about the failed policing or health care system. Nigerians have normalized the Stockholm syndrome and are now in a state of learned-helplessness then tomorrow a riff-raff will come up with a thread on "500 reasons to not travel abroad". Plebs

She should shut up and stop being ridiculous.

so shoving snow that takes less than 2 minutes is so life crushing that she sees it as a sacrifice?

Some people really knows how to nag.

If her full senses were working she would have known that people have been living there and other colder places for thousands of years. Even with the cold there are people who would still leave a safe warm climate and migrate to colder regions.

If not that she is chasing clout, she would have known that one of the "worst" places to live in is the tropical weather. Infested with bugs, mosquitoes, venomous reptiles and other disease carrying rodents ( almost all year round) before crying over cold weather that last not more than 6 months all together in a year.

She should stop nagging and come home, after all even with insecurity that she is complaining about, 200 millions Nigerians are still living in Naija.

Instead of being grateful to God for the opportunity she is here nagging.

Edit.

For those of your insulting me. Look up the number of people that died from heatwaves in the last years and compare to dying from cold.

Or the number of people dying from hunger or malaria (tropical disease) every year.

My point is life is not easy anywhere and shoving off snow off your car is a little inconvenience compare to what most people go through in lives everyday around the world.

When are we going to start appreciating God's favor in our lives?

A simp: Is a man who foolishly overvalues women and places her on a pedestal. Female simps do exist too but are very rare compared to the male ones. The world simp is derived from the word simpleton and The full form of the word SIMP is Someone/Suckers Idolizing Mediocre Pussy.
A simp is a man who would do anything to seek validation form a women ie; doing her a lot of favors and spending money on girls they dont even date. Simps think its their responsibility to put more things on the table while the girl contributes nothing in a relationship. A simp considers attractive women to be superior to him. A simp values attractive women more than himself. A simp has no other purpose in life. Simps are basically one of the reasons why there is an imbalance in gender equality in relationships, social media and other things or places in life. simps are the people you see on social media spending a lot of time liking random girls posts and commenting heart eye emoji, hearts and complements etc on it and spending huge amounts of money on e girls on live-streaming apps like Twich, Live me etc and wasting money on only fans and premium snapchat accounts just to look at cleavage or soft Indecency when there is infinite amounts of free porn online, simps have the expectation of getting into a relationship or sleeping with her in return which doesn’t work out most of the time, simps either end up in the friend zone or get the girl to not have any interest in them at all. Simps have the mentality that women can never be bad or wrong they even play a role of white knighting ie; defending a women or picking her side even when she's the bad guy in the entire situation. A simp would stab a man in his back (betray a guy) in order to seek female validation. Compared to an average man, simps spend a lot of time obsessing over women. Simps are just beta males who have no game when it comes to getting girls. Simps think they can manipulate or seduce women with this behavior but they don't realize that they look pathetic and women don't find this kind of behavior attractive at all, The only thing women like about simpping is the free positive attention they get and not the person who is simpping. Simps are just desperate men who are getting used by women and they allow the beauty of the women have full control over them.

lol... I'll be very brief here, two reasons this is happening
1. Where do you think those your finance apps are keeping your money.. eg cowrywise they get 15% and give you 5- 8%.. Not sure about the act figures they give.

2.the other reason is the number of people emigrating to North America, that's where they house the money they need to have in their accounts..
I hope I have been able to convince and not confuse you with this few points of mine

This is most cheering news that I read today. Lockdown has not achieved any purpose in Nigeria. Before Lockdown, our positive cases in Nigeria was two-digits after lockdown it skyrocketed to four-digits 5000. Even after lockdown in Lagos , the cases has reduced compare to what Lagos used to record during Lockdown ( 100+ 200+) . Nigerian government should make Madagascar convid-19 organic cure available for everyone and normal life should be restored immediately.

No more lockdown!!!

How do yahoo boys function without electricity?

How do night clubs and strip clubs function?

Why is it only when it comes to producing we see all these obstacles?

Electricity became a domestic resource circa 1890 but before then steam engine cars were being manufactured and sold.

In the face of problems, solutions are sought.

Think differently.
Problem I have with blacks is that you don't take time to really read books and understand how things work, we prefer the easier route of praying or wishing away our problems.

Do you know the margins on production? You think the yahoo boy doesn't factor in the cost of running gen or the strip clubs just open and keep their gens running without knowing if they'll make a profit at the end of the day? Why do you think China is the production capital of the world today when any Tom, Dick or Harry can import machines and switch them on for production..

Nigeria has the population(economy of scale) viable for any market but companies prefer to move to Ghana and sent the finished goods down here.. why?

COST OF PRODUCTION ..
Do your own little reading, find out how market societies work then come back, I'll be waiting.

What is the difference between electricity and the steam engine? Before the steam engine Europe developed advantage from mechanized labor using the water wheel and windmills(one of the reasons they colonized you) , also read up on renaissance Europe and find out how the Industrial revolution came about powered by the steam engine and mechanization in the 18th century . If you like continue hiding your head in the sand.

Until YOU produce your nation is doomed.

Produce everything - Rice, pencils, clothes, footwear, sugar, building materials, razor blade, bicycles, etc.

A country of jobless people mocking their nation for even producing pencils is destined for failure.
and how do you produce without power?
