Hi mamas, please what type of feeding bottle has a softer teat? i currently use tommee tippee feeding bottle (from 3months +) and my DS is having difficulty sucking. I'm suspecting the teat cos its kinda strong. Thanks

@ proudmom38, my mum insisted on the hot water bathing/pressing, she siad it was reallly necessary for FTM. Even the matron at hospital gave the same advice. Though they said 3months, i did it for 2 months. For d bleeding, i had it for 6 weeks.

Hello mamas, please i need some contributions. My baby is 2 months plus and is on EBF. i feed him anytime he gets cranky or sucks his finger. What I'm trying to say is that he feeds at least once in 1hr 30mins.

I'm starting work soon and really want to EBF him for 6months. How many mil will i express that will take him from 8am to 1pm when i'll be home to express more and 2pm to 6pm when i'll be home. Please mamas with experince, how did you do it?

@ rieme26, a friend of mine that usually gives birth through CS drinks lemon mixed with warm water (freshly squeezed lemon) first thing in d morning before food and last thing at night while waiting for the scar to heal before using corset. But you have to be sure your baby is not reacting to it.

Please mamas, does baby tribotan makes babies sweat? My DS sweats like crazy since i started using it for cradle cap and its kind of making his skin dry. Any remedies? i also notice that his stomach is rumbling (making sounds), is it something to be worried about? i don't want my mum giving him agbo o as she has started saying its diarhia. He's 2months, 3 weeks, on EBF and his poo is still soft and yellowish. Thanks

I saw a pead. today and she asked me to use baby tribotan from his head to toe that it'll clear. She also said the nystatin suspension like they say "curing from the inside", that there's no harm in giving.
All in all, i'll be using coconut oil n shea butter. i want his hair to come out fast for his dedication cos d thing don cut hm hair wella.

I'm a ftm and not a medical practitioner too. But my lo had cradle cap(seborhoea dermatitis) met a dermatologist and he told me to use sebamed anti dandruff shampoo for his hair, then daktacort cream on the affected part on his body and it cleared out in less than a week. You can try that,im not in support of taking flagyl. How old is your lo?

Please my baby has cradle cap and it has entered his body giving him white patches like eczema. i took him for immunisation and a nurse there told it's fungal infection and said i should rub him nystatin cream and administer nystatin syrup and flagyll syrup for 5 days. She also asked me to get potassium permanganet (spelling alert) and add to his bath water. I proceeded to the hospital and the crowd was something else, i waited 4 6 hours yet there was no available Dr.

Please has anyone experience such? What measures did you take? Thanks.

I just repeated the test myself once more and it's a BFP. In fact am still speechless. Will still visit the hospital next week for doctors confirmation.

Please o mamas, I don't understand all these vaccines u guys r mentioning; rotavirus, pneumococal etc. My DS was given penta and OPV @ 6 weeks and I haven't seen rotavirus n pnemococal on the booklet that contains d list of all vaccines to be given. Pls educate me. Thanks

@sexiebecky, to the best of my knowledge, I don't think there's something u v to do for ur period to start, it'll start on its own. You can encourage DH to use condom if you're not on family planning.

Noooooo, pls don't massage. If d fever is much, u can rinse his body wt water , he shd slp w.out cloth too just to control d fever(cos too much fever causes convulsion. U can put cold satchet water on d site on d injection and after 10mins u remove nd put it again. Or u wrap iced block in handkerchief and put it on d site of d injection. Av u given him piriton? 2.5mls of piriton too helps. U can check google for more info on ds

He has cold so he can't sleep w.out cloths. I haven't given him piriton. How I wish I saw Ds earlier, I wld v applied the cold compress. I'll do it tomorrow if its still necessary. He's asleep NW. Thanks
