mhizbel:I'm finally home. I was not given the opportunity to vote. After the very late arrival they began to set up. We were divided into groups: the aged (60 years and above), the pregnant and nursing women, the disabled, and the rest. Accreditation began. Some minutes past 12 we were told that the BVAS machine that was given to them it not for our polling unit. On the BVAS, polling unit 16 was taped on but the machine was actually for 15. Oya rectify the issue nah, go and change the BVAS machine, wahala. From calling INEC official in charge, to I'm on my way, to call the software engineer, bla bla bla Those people wasted our time. It was past 1pm that they finally spoke up. They asked us to choose between going to get a new BVAS machine and voting today irrespective of the time and, rescheduling the vote to tomorrow morning. Of course we insisted on voting today. So, one of the presiding officers left with some security to go and get a new BVAS machine. Me I decided to quickly branch my house and settle my stomach. After eating I went back only to hear no more voting today. Na so I go back my house o. To think that I had high hopes for this election. |
Hatrick01:The best candidate. |

McBishop2020:My dear I have never seen someone that is so petty. There's no need wasting your precious time to quote him. |
TakeNigeriaBack:So much hatred coming from someone who just registered today. It's amazing how you've spent over one hour already on Obi's matter. Your tactics is quite stale try something new. You no get new pictures to post abi na only these ones you get. Obi/Datti 2023. |
Cerberus:Yes o. I have seen a lot of wahala come out from situations like this. There's this female friend of mine that kept saying none of her friends should report her man to her for cheating, even if we caught him red-handed. |

I think that other than their quest for power and strong devotion to religion the Hausas are very friendly and loyal. Their tribalism dey mostly for politics. Between the Yorubas and the Igbos I honestly can't say who more tribalistic. I am an Igbo girl residing in Akwaibom State with my family and I always hear Igbos especially the matured/elderly Igbos say things like "Calabar people (i.e both Akwaibom and Crossriver states) are not good for marriage, they are not trustworthy, they are not good for business partnership, they are lazy, unfaithful, etc. I mean they have something bad to say about almost all tribes except theirs. While these things are true about some of them they can't also tell me that there is no Igbo person that does not possess these traits. The funny thing is that they let us live peacefully in their land, do business and succeed, school, worship, buy lands, etc but of course we are better than them. Na so my aunty tell me the other day say "if you wan marry gbadawa East (go down to the East) ![]() Me wey don see better Akwaibom husband ![]() But las las sha all human get tribalistic nature. |
A good yoruba man. Nice one. |
Rest abeg! |
Sergio101:Wow! I just learnt something new. Thank you. |
All this talk about "Peter Obi's supporters are only online" is quite stale don't you know so my dear? ![]() |
In summary, Nairaland is full of so much hate and bitterness. |
It depends on the kind of roommate. Is it a single room you want to share? (Self-contained is also a single room o) Or Is it a flat? That is, you both have separate rooms but share the living room, toilet, kitchen, etc. Now here's my answer. If it's a single room, NO NEED! I value my privacy. If it's a flat then I may consider it. |
My dear, if you were a man I'd advice you to share your findings with your friend if you're very sure his wife is cheating on him. But you my dear are a woman and I'd advise you to stay out of this matter. My reason is because you're not even very sure she's having an affair and even if she is people will always want to judge you because you are a woman. They'll say you're being a home breaker and they will question your motive. If I were you I go just wash my hand commot o. I don't even think I'll keep being a very close friend to a member of the opposite sex after he's or I'm married. |

I'll choose a God fearing man anytime, any day. |
Hello mister, I'm not interested in anything that happens in anybody's bedroom. I really hate kiss and tell. |
Dating is an activity between two people who are exploring each other and are in a romantic relationship. So, no, sex is not necessary in a healthy relationship. And yes, sex is necessary when you are dating... as a matter of fact, it is the formula for dating. |
That is emotional blackmail. Don't let her use it on you. Some people amaze me o. like you claim you can't live without him but you can't live without cheating on him. |
Well, there is always something to learn in every way possible. I think your choice of a partner would determine what you get in the long run. |
ubunja:I'm a virgin in Christ Jesus. |
ubunja:And why do I have this feeling that you are being sarcastic? |
ubunja:I don't really know why. I think that most virgin guys are so clueless about sex. imagine having to tell or show him what to do... no no no. in my opinion, a virgin guy befits a virgin girl. |
To be honest, I don't want to marry a virgin. |
I think she finds him attractive and good enough to be her husband. |
For a life partner, any man that is not in the presence of the Lord is a big no for me. You must love God first, and be able to define your purpose in life and live in it. I must find him physically attractive and interesting. And oh... I can't stand an arrogant fellow. In summary, I just need a man that I can trust and I'm safe with . |
