Does anyone know how much it costs to hire a civil engineer with Coren or Corbon to supervise a duplex?

IDEALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY.. 2.5% OF THE TOTAL PROJECT SUM... BUT YOU CAN NEGOTIATE USING THE PERCENTAGE AS A GUIDE,,,,

channel your money into something reasonable.. fish farming from fingelings to table size is not profitable in nigeria currently... that is why old farmers are selling of their tarpaulin and plastic pond.. the only profitable aspect of fish farming is Hatching and sells of fingerling... and selling of feeds and equipments...
i was once a novice like you.. i regreted entering the business i lost more than 1 million... the problems are ..after you have spent money raising the fish to table size and you want to sell, you will start hearing some ridiculus prices... and since you want your money back because you will keep feeding...you will have to sell it like that...

i challenge any one here for a debate... i ran it for 4 years...

with a due respect sir i think u are taking this professionalism thing a bit too far sir. so what u are basically saying is that a hnd holder shouldn't practice what he studied maybe he should go and do money ritual since he doesn't carry that big name tag to his title? bossman u are an engineer i know that but trust me in structures i don't think u can really go head to head with me even as at 5years ago, i have far gone off to a point i now design for California engineers i ve linked with via upwork and quora, u know what that means right, u have to start studying their design codes, seismic design etc have u even gone into those, or should i send u a design i made for an arab engineer some year back. yet i am not coren certified. all that body does is eat money and eat more money, their conferences are filled with old men sleeping all through the conference lol. in the firm i currently work my ceo will never want to loose me, he dares not i dont even go to office often, i handle big contracts for my self too and they dare not owe me a penny at the month end, thats coz im that good but since i dont carry the coren tag should i stop working and go and start doing yahoo yahoo lol since that one needs no proffesionalism? sir i am not saying professionals shoiuldt be recognized but stop that intimidating talks coz its pointless. i know alot of coren engineers that cant do real design other copy and paste design, we both know the drafting is nothing, the calculation sheet is where the bosses are know. i mean real calculation done manually not those automated ones. my conclusion if u can do those then u are an engineer. EOD!

1.. COST OF CASING PIPES.. WHICH HAVE STANDARD LENGHT OF 5METERS AND DIAMETER OF 5INCHES... THERE IS THE THICK ONE AND THERE IS THE ORDINARY ONE.. SOME MIX THE TWO IN JOBS BY PLACING THE THICK ONES AT THE BOTTOM WHERE THE PRESSURE IS MUCH AND THE ORDINARY ONES AT THE TOP TO SURFACE.. THE PRICES OF THE THICK ONE I HEARD IS ALMOST 20K FOR THE 5M LENGHT.... AND 10K FOR ORDINARY ONE...

2.... COST OF DRILLING ITSELF... IT RANGES BETWEEN 120K-250K DEPENDING ON THE DEPTH YOU GOING... MY RULE OF THUMP IS 3K PER METER...IT MAY BE MORE OR LESS..

THE REST ITEMS LIKE THE PUMPING MACHINE, WATER PVC 1 INCH PIPE AND OTHER ACCESSORIES... THOSE CAN BE BOUGHT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION..

Oga 48hours for (ANY) drawing, does this include the architectural, mechanical drawing? Haba don't you think it's to fast with back and forth with client request before arriving at a conclusion for the design. I have no idea how this 48 hours thing is possible. I think I might have to challenge your competent in my next project, be prepared my designs are crazy. What is your average cost? Can you please show us some of the samples of the designs you did in the past.

First of all... I am not happy an architect Drew this kind of plan for a client in this 21st century.

1. The Rooms are like a prison... God forbid.. if there is fire outbreak from the kitchen and have spread to the dining and living room.. the whole family in the rooms will perish because the only access way is the long corridor to the living room..

2. What we normally preach here about darkness at corridor will be experiensed in this plan because there is no natural light access to the corridor.
3. why locate all the bedrroms to that back including Master bedroom. For security reasons... a room is should at least face the gate... though not a must...

lastly... stanlee. pkease refund the clients money.. This is not an architectural design...
