Crude Oil

Ejiofor Alike The provisional names of the 36 companies that were awarded contracts to lift crude oil by the Federal Government through the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) from June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015 have been revealed. Although the list is not final as more companies are expected to make the final list, it signals a paradigm shift to indigenous companies as against previous preference for foreign companies. The final list may contain more local names according to a reliable source.

The list, which was obtained exclusively by THISDAY, comprises 21 indigenous companies; eight international oil traders; two foreign refineries; two subsidiaries of the NNPC and three countries, represented by their state-owned National Oil Companies (NOCs).

According to the document, 21 indigenous companies were awarded contracts to lift a total of 630,000 barrels per day of crude oil during the one-year period, representing 57 per cent of the 1,179,000 barrels per day awarded to the 38 beneficiaries.

The list also showed that eight international oil traders got an allocation of 240,000 barrels per day, representing 20.5per cent of the whole allocations, while two foreign refineries got 60,000 barrels per day, or 5.1per cent of the allocations.

Two subsidiaries of the NNPC were awarded contracts to lift 90,000barrels per day, which translates to 7.7per cent, while three countries, represented by their NOCs also got 90,000barrels per day.

A breakdown of the allocations showed that each of the 21 indigenous traders got an allocation of 30,000barrels per day.

These companies include; A-Z Petroleum Products Limited; Hyde Energy Nigeria Limited; DK Global Energy Resources Limited; Aiteo Energy Resources,; Avidor Oil and Gas Company Limited; Azenith Energy Resource Limited; Barbados Oil and Gas Services Limited; Century Energy Services Limited and Crudex International Limited.

Other beneficiaries include, Eterna Plc; Bono Energy; Taleveras Limited; Mezcor SA; Sahara Energy Resources Limited; Tridax Energy SA and Tempo Energy SA.

The rest include, Ontario Trading SA; Voyage Oil & Gas Limited; Elektron Petroleum Energy and Mining Limited; Ibeto Petrochemical

Company. Also included in the list are eight international oil traders, which got an allocation of 30,000 barrels per day of crude oil each. Source Thisday

Dumexoga: Listen guy, i want you to know that its your mind that makes you a man. If you begin to listen to peoples analysis here, you will make mistakes. I remember when we were waiting for ministerial approval, there was nothing they didnt say. Now Oando has ministerial approval they are still talking. This will show you that, there are so many people here who are not serious. They are not moving forward and they wont let others to pass. I am accumulating as many as i can lay my hands on my dear. Mark my words, you will see how Oando will shock people. This is a massive one and its not for children or vegetable hearted people. Even without cop deal oando is not supposed to be at this price. At a time i stopped talking, because i see some people here sadists.

Elai147: INTER-MEMBER TRANSFER PROCESS/REQUIREMENTS

To transfer your shares from an in-active stock broking firm, you need to contact your target stockbrokers and ask them to carry out the transfer of these shares from the in-active firm to their custody. For the target stockbroker to be able carry out this transfer, you need to provide them with the following;
- Your current statement from CSCS (if you have CSCS online access, you can print your statement yourself)
- A copy of your ID card ( International passport, or Drivers license)
- Photocopy of evidence of share ownership such as- Receipt of share purchase, dividend warrant stub, or contract note)
- Bankers confirmation from your bank (the account must be in existence for 6 months and above alternatively, you can provide your target broking firm with your bank details and a passport photograph which would be forwarded to CSCS on a letter headed paper with the company seal affixed)

Note: Your target stock broking firm must initiate your request to CSCS on-line, process an indemnity and submit along with your KYC (know your client) document and the above listed physical document before your account can be transferred. So tell your target stockbroker to give you a KYC form to complete.
wow oga Elai thanks u hit it
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Michael11stock(m): 2:57pm On Sep 26, 2013
Elai147: There is nothing to worry about. Your stocks are safe and with CSCS. I am sure the suspension will be lifted soon. But if the need to buy or sell your stocks arise, you may want to move your stocks to an active stockbroking firm. However, unofficially, Cashcraft can approach other stockbrokers to help carry out your buy and sell orders- but this is usually done for their big clients or for those who buy and sell regularly. You can contact Cashcraft to know if they can make such arrangement for you incase you need to buy and sell. If they cannot, and you need to do some active trading, then you can transfer your account to any other safe stockbroking firm.
do not panic they will resolve it soon cheers

Audacius: While not really attempting to market them, my experience with ARM Securities has been good. All my transactions from inquiry to opening of account till date has been electronic. Never seen anyone from there in person-email phone calls. I had to open the account with 50k though.
ok thanks bro, but since i already have 100k in my CSCS is there any need to deposit money with them again? And what type of document did u present to them so as to be able to trade with them?
