The arc design gave a bit of trouble but with experience,we made it happen

dongc:yes you're welcome boss. Goal is to work fast while not compromising on the quality. Something happened, the first people that were supposed to do this job were nonchalant. Told them I intended to start working before 8am, I waited and kept calling on phone but they weren't taking my calls. One person eventually came and I told him if it's 9am and they don't start working, I will have to replace them. But trust them, they didn't take me serious cause after all, they know me too well and they were my bosses when I was still under apprenticeship. 9am dot and I told them to forget about the job, replaced them with the guy doing this work and even paid him more than what I agreed with the first guys. Told him the amount of dedication I needed and how much I want this to be delivered with my timeline and he understood. Dude needed the money and started working immediately. Before I was ta the workshop today,he was already waiting for me and we kept pushing the job. God so kind, the back of the gate has been 90% completed and before 10am tomorrow morning, I will turn and start working on the front
|
Thazard:once I turn the gate tomorrow, I will still weld it together with the pipes. That way it will be sturdier and firm. You're kind of experienced with this sort of thing though |
Thazard:sure thanks boss. Come back tomorrow for more updates as I intend to starting working on the front |
Completed the welding of the pan on the back. Currently on forming the arc on the top
|
Thazard:no rubbit. It's welding all through Look at the welding
|
spyder880:ok. Thanks for teaching me a thing or two |
omanzo02:the issue isn't investing in such tools. Issue is are you willing to pay for such services. If I give you a bill which includes the hiring of tools like that lifter, can you pay without telling me someone else is giving you a cheaper bill. Until you can answer these questions honestly, don't come and be lecturing us on how to do better when you can't pay better |
Doing this project, did you move your trusted hand s to site or you employed the from the local pool |
The closing up of the second gate is currently ongoing
|
topsy23:meh e no easy at all |
This story of Ini on Twitter be scaring me. I know situations I go to sites with just address and contact of someone to meet. E no easy and God save us all |
Ilola:definitely hell cause they're already in heaven |
Close up view of some of the materials being used here
|
We started working already on this gate. My plan is to finish whatever that is to be done on the back today so that tomorrow morning, I can start the main job which is the front
|
Na lié. You made conscious choices and that's what made you a criminal. You took the easy way out which is also fun way |
Why are some people not prudent with money. Like you borrowed money to celebrate your birthday as if it's your last year on earth. There's no other birthday coming. The guy is stupid but I won't pity you for a second cause you aren't serious with money |
BabbanBura:thanks bro. Good morning sir spyder880:you're welcome. Sure it will be an interesting one |
Hallabee1:now you know |
Heineken:then I fear you |
I intend to continue this job tomorrow so ensure you follow so as to get updates as we progress |
@spyder880, mufuta, brabusng, egunmogaji, invertedhammer, dongc and everyone else, your honorable presence is needed on this journey. You can ask questions, bring suggestions and even critique the job as we move. Everything is welcomed. It's a free world so you can just observe and learn so when doing your job, you know what to expect and where welders cut corners too |
The pan on this gate is 2mm. Reason is because the gate is already very heavy because of the materials. He went for the best and as such it affects weight which in turn affects the durability. The pan was welded today as well though not all. Man got tired and I wouldn't blame him. Working under the scorching heat of this sun isn't a small feat
|
If you observe closely, you will see everything on this gate is wrought
|
While working fast, I was on ground to supervise the job and ensure it's sticking to the original concept. Meanwhile the design of the pan was drawn today
|
Delivery time is two weeks and it's my priority to ensure that there is no single delay. Started by cutting the pipes into desired shapes and framing them accurately
|
I was mobilized on Monday but I was somewhat too busy to start immediately but I already paid for the materials make tears no follow am. So the materials were delivered today and my worker started working.
|
So I did a good job for a member here. It was a standing tank and he contracted me to do his gate. The original sample he brought wasn't clear enough as the image was blurred. So he suggested that I take the shape of the gate and install another design on it. First picture was of the original concept Second is the design I will build into it

Heineken:I fear who no fear heights join |
Some women are really suffering in this life oh. To think that someone's daughter is cohabitating with this one is scary. God give me such woman please |
KelvinCoaster:make una stop this thing na. Someone should please tell me how 5ml can do a bungalow please. I don't need bulletproof door or corrugated roofs |
spyder880:I'm awaiting the full story at the other thread. How 600sqm sheets did the job of 715sqm. We move |
