edi287:Did someone actually say that ![]() !! |
Icon4s:When did he play all these positions at Leicester? He only plays as a CF and an SS at Leicester. AMF never, what is he looking for there when Hus first touch is currently so poor? And the times he played as a CF he was poor, SS even worse no offence at all, this is not to diss him but it is the fact on ground. OK let us bring in the Nigerian concept. I believe we will have a final 23 man list for the AFCON, Etebo is already a utility player(a way better one than Iheanacho, at least he can play one of his positions very well), Iwobi is another utility player and both can play that AmF role better than Iheanacho currently. Why add a third utility player? Are we taking all the players to the world cup? |
zuchyblink:Amen to that oh, big amen |
TheGoodJoe:The guy's talk was just tiring but u wasn't in the mood for his kind of argument. Salah plays virtually as a 9 all the time for Liverpool because Firminho is a false 9, if it was when Messi was playing as a false 9 David Villa and Pedro even Henry playing as wingers will be plundering goals because they are virtually the main strikers which is what the other moniker was trying to explain that Salah is a 9, but of course the fudr did not agree and resorted to insults. |
Icon4s:And Iheanacho can play all these positions yet he is siting on the bench at Leicester? Wow, Barca needs to snap up that raw talent ASAP |
andrew444:When did Higuain ever outscore Ronaldo? So Higuain was pushed out because of Ronaldo and not because Benzema was/is easily a better player than he is? |
andrew444:Are you talking about the Argentine Higuain or another European Higuain?? |
maidaboi:I have been trying to locate that picture of Uzoho, if after looking at that picture you believe that Uzoho is 14 then that guy is 11, finish |
jihday:Is it that none of you understood the reference I made to Uzoho? Come on people |
tbaba1234:First of all let us all remember that you looked at Uzoho's picture and declared that he looked....14? And you actually believed it to be true, now because you do not like this guy you have changed the narrative to 'he doesn't look young'. Anyways judging from the picture you can see a young lad who had been struggling to make ends meet, do you know the menial jobs he did at that age? You do not expect him to be looking young when he has been exposed for too long. |
tbaba1234:I have actually seen bigger students in their junior secondary. |
tbaba1234:Looks perfectly like an 11 year old to me |
tbaba1234:Aguero is older than Ighalo but I am certain he has picked up a few things under Pep. Even if you are 50 years old you can learn a few things like positioning, movement and stuff, there are some things you cannot learn but though but I doubt finishing is among them. Like I said if he trains with the likes of Messi I am sure his finishing abilities would improve a lot |
BascoVanVeli:If he trains with the best week in week out that's good enough for me. He can pick up a few things from Messi |
isan:Hit the club hard for what some fans(not all) did? I mean this is a 22-24 match season and you all want points deducted from Remo Stars because of what some hoodlums did? Fine them, make them play behind closed doors no problem, but point deduction is absolutely inappropriate |
tbaba1234:Of the 73 how many did he start? But that's all by the way, how is he not a much more proven goalscorer than KPB?? |
Joebie:I believe a Ghanian has failed his medical before? I can't recall who though |
tbaba1234:How many seasons did he play in the EPL? Two or three? If he had one great(not good but great) season out of say three then I do not think that is bad at all. Besides when Ighalp played for Granada he played as a winger then in most of his matches that I watched, always wearing that long sleeve stuff inside his main jersey and back then you could see that he knows how to beat his marker at least. OK now let us ask has KPB ever and I mean ever had a great season? He has one or two great matches every season and that is just it! As a backup striker Ighalo is better than KPB anyday of the week and twice on matchdays for me |
Earthquake1:Absolutely the worst transfer of this period by far . Barca in need of a backup striker goes ahead to buy KPB who is not an out and out striker ahead of Ighalo who is actually a proven goalscorer in a top league, I mean I understand that Ighalo's agents pointed out that he doesn't want a loan move but a permanent move and that is more than what Barca are asking for but come on, KPB ?? I know it is a done deal but I pray that stuff doesn't go through, maybe he fails his medical or something, you never know what you will get with these Ghanaians and their banku |
isan:Did the Remo Stars' players or staff beat up the referee? |
tbaba1234:So that means he was among the top 3 best players not the top 2. And by the way you said he was 'easily' the best player in both matches. I believe you have corrected that though |
fabyom:I do not bite. I would like to know your own opinion, that's shyy we are here. By the way like I said, if we play the same formation we employed during the qualifiers, then that would mean that even Samuel Kalu will be on the bench, Samuel can come in and change a game. What is the point taking him to the tourney if he will go and sit on the bench instead of going to the U20 and clocking minutes |
oloriooko:Sorry, what were you saying? ![]() |
oloriooko:On a good day they could have scored one goal in that first 20minutes it just isn't their day. But they are comfortable in the top half of the rest apart from the top 6, not sure how that is a 'pile of poo' |
tbaba1234:Did you check whoscored before making this deduction? I am not exactly sure I watched that match so I can't exactly say though but whoscored is implying another stuff altogether |
andrew444:I just dey look am. On whoscored another thing is written, even in the match against Barca too but let's just be looking. He is playing with 10 other farmers that can't even control a simple pass |
ChrisKels:I said a season before that, read through what I wrote again, that is the 01/02 season and they finished 15th. The next season the same set of players now finished 7th. How is Villarreal a shitty team? A team that finished 6th last season? They are struggling yes but they are not a shitty team by any stretch of the imagination. Should I also pull out Rooney's stats in the 2003/2004 season so you will see further why he went to the Euro? For goodness sake this is Chuks' first professional season, Rooney already played two complete seasons before he was considered for the Euro, that too because he performed when the ovation was loudest |
BascoVanVeli:We actually agree on this one, maybe you just did not like the analogy I used and for that I apologise. This is the point I am making, do what is best for him. You and I know that what he may think is best for him may not exactly be. But remember that Barcelona almost stopped Messi from attending that 2008 Olympics but Pep then said it was vital for his development, Pep the best coach in the world(sorry Liverpool fans but that's the truth) pointed out that attending an age grade tournament is important in a player's career even if the player is named Messi shows just how important that stuff is. Solanke is getting his big money move to Bournemouth off the back of his U20 exploits, there are better players but Bournemouth settled for him, I believe a stellar campaign in the U20 would earn him his own big money move and from there I believe he can continue moving up. I believe the Olympics is next year too, he should even be ready for it as well, seeing that he is actually the age he said he is there is no point rushing him and then burning him out, let's take our time, we ain't winning the AFCON with Rohr anyways |
ChrisKels:It is about getting noticed. I mean how many Nigerians except the ones that are well grounded in football matters are well aware of his exploits? Even those who do still have doubts considering who he is performing against. But remember when Keshi refused to invite Iheanacho and the kind of nationwide uproar it caused? Is Iheanacho a better player than Chuks? That is open for debate but Iheanacho was performing against the top teams so he was easily noticed, that is what football is all about. Ehm Bros oh, how did Rooney have a paradise behind him? I mean Everton are not exactly a top team, more like the Leicester/WestHam/Watford of those days. They were struggling wirh relegation a season before that so it was a poor team with a good coach. I get that Vullareal are struggling in the league this season but otherwise they are a top 6 team and comfortably qualified from their Europa League group and they could still finish 7th this season. Rooney did not have any paradise behind him, maybe you should check that first. And Rooney played almost all the season as a support striker |
Joebie:With our 50year olds, it should be easy. |
ChrisKels:First of all, please please please I am not trying to make him look poor not by any stretch of the imagination, I mean Iheanacho couldn't score against Newport County, Success couldn't score against...whatever the name of that team is, I can go on. So scoring a goal, regardless of the team is an achievement so no, I am not saying it is poor but this is strictly in comparison to Rooney's debut season and why he was easily noticed. I hope I have enlightened you now. Rooney scored against Arsenal twice (second placed team), Newcastle (third placed team) and Blackburn(6th placed team). He also scored against Leeds and I am sure you know Leeds used to be among the elite then and Aston Villa. So there you go |
