You can keep going on about Iheanacho should shine, should shine etc. I have made my point before Nacho joined City until he left. I will judge him after he plays in an offensive/attacking creative system. By the way, Okazaki is not a key player anymore for Leicester City.
Why not purchase an attacking club then make a bid for Iheanacho

I have said it before

I told guys around me at first

At second I quoted someone here

Once again Vinicius junior is a crappy overrated player ,Brazilian scam

Chukwueze will do better than that young tout in the Madrid team

Mind you I am not overrating chukwueze, because I have always caution people who do that,Vinicius is a crappy player ,can you imagine getting a 17 years old unproven talent for 45 million just because he is Brazilian
I can bet everything I own that you absolutely did not watch yesterday's match. Vinicius was easily the best player on the pitch, by far. As in he kept on destroying his marker over and over and over again, and he kept on creating chances and he kept on going for goal and he kept on interchanging neat passes with Benzema, in fact the Madrid fans all applauded him after an audacious effort towards the end of the game. If you truly watched this match in particular before typing this then I wonder the kind of game you watched.

the Iheanacho hype was from patriots and City fans

Chukwueze is different because he isn't in EPL and he has put up stellar performances against top teams in La Liga, Kelechi was performing against small fries like Southampton and Crystal Palace..... I can't recall a big team where he really performed

When did coutinho play midfield this season ?

He has been playing from the flank seems dembele was at the bench ,But since when dembele started doing well he is back at the bench

Arthur/Vidal got the last midfield spot
No need for long talk check this image. Coutinho has played 9times in midfield this season and 10 times in the WF position which coincided with the period Messi was injured and also when Dembouz was having disciplinary issues

I thought you are the one who would always say invite them all to camp and then choose the best? Victor Moses is a welcome addition, if he comes and he still can't bench the players we have now(which is highly unlikely) then he will sit on the bench unless we want to play a 3-5-2 formation

Cc Chriskels. This is Dembele's last season at Borrusia. I want to point out two things. Check out that bad touch ratio, that's UNsTCH that is what determines his good your control is in tight spots and that determines how good your passing is in tight spots. Then you said he can't dribble just pace, please please do the comparison yourself

Cc Chriskels Compare Chukwueze's stats with that of Dembele who as at now is still adapting to the Barca system and you will get my point that he isn't suited to the barca model, that does not mean that he cannot be coached to learn the model, I told you already that he would need a season or two to learn it which would be detrimental to his development

Coutinho came back from his injury two months ago and yet he is still warming the bench now, how is he a starter? Haaa and ur point is Chukwueze's positioning? Bros do u know why Messi never liked playing alongside Dembele, before now? Do u know why Dembele found it hard to fit in till lately? The complains and reasons given by his teammates and coaches were his poor positional sense and decision making.

Dat said, when Chuks is caught up in a bad position, he conjures some improvised pieces of skills to wriggle outta the tight corner, hence, he easily beats his marker to save a situation. In other words, what he lacks with his positioning, he makes up with his impact dribbles. Please, can same be said of Dembele? Dembele only has his pace, which Chuks is also a match.
Dembele only has pace? grin grin I would ask you if you have ever watched Dembele before, just go through his stats and check the number of dribbles he completes per 90.
And down to the Messi part, it is still evident even now that Messi and Suarez do not exactly like playing with Dembele and that has absolutely nothing to do with footballing reasons, it is just because he is keeping Coutinho on the bench and Cout is part of the Messi-Suarez bromance, I don't know where you got your own idea of positioning because Dembouz's positioning is top notch and his runs off the ball is marvelous. And the reason given BT the coach for not playing him all along was because of his attitude not because of footballing reasons yet again, I suggest you research well before you conclude

Nacho won't cost much for now but he won't lack Epl club, trust me
You keep on misunderstanding and yet you don't want to learn. Iheanacho currently has a contract till 2021 or so and the buyback clause in the contract is 50million which means the buyout clause will be close to 70m if not more, for Leicester to sell it means you must bring up to that 70m except Leicester badly wants to offload the said player so do you see any EPL club paying 70m for him? Then you talk about going on loan, how many midtable EPL players are currently on loan to other midtable EPL clubs?? That's not how the business model is, if you are playing for Liverpool they can easily find you suitors from midtable clubs because that will foster the business model with Liverpool and along the line you will be able to get some of their academy players for free and all that. That's what Komekn and I kept on trying to explain to you but for some reason understanding it has been difficult for you

Dembele is not that suited to Barca style ,but the big deal is that he is getting the goals and assists .

Coming from a Barca fan .
What is the Barca style exactly?? Being able to keep possession and having a high pass accuracy even in right spaces so you can execute all these brilliant triangles all across the pitch. I already pointed out that Dembele kept on warming the bench last season because he always lost possession easily and played with little or no motivation, this season he improved on that but at a time within the season he went back to his old wasteful self and even Rafinha played ahead of him, his head don cool now and he is back to what he knows how to do best, I watched the match against Levante and he hardly lost the ball four times, so as at now he has adapted to the Barca style perfectly except there is another Barca model you have in mind

So your assessment is based totally on his looks? Then if that is all and you don't have other factors like his height when he was 14 and his height now or something else then it is false. I remember attending my childhood friend's wedding, that too when I was still barely 24, all my attempt to convince them that the bride was my mate together with the ashebis fell on deaf ears, they maintained that she was 32 at least while I was 28, facial appearances can be quite deceiving

No offence but you need to watch more PSG games. They do not play a 4-3-3 formation, just because Neymar is given the freedom to roam doesn't mean it is a 4-4-2, I am guessing you will also say that Barcelona is currently playing a 4-4-2 formation because of Messi's position on the pitch?

Which 4-4-2? For which club? Di Maria plays in a 4-3-3 formation with Mbappe-Cavani-Neymar as the forward line. When Neymar drops deep Di Maria covers that spot. Then Verrati and whoever else gets the nod completes the midfield triangle. So how exactly is Onyekuru going to bench their midfielder? And how is Onyekuru going to bench Di Maria? See eh, if you go to PSG he has to deal with Neymar and Mbappe and he definitely will not bench either of them at all

Sadly, I don't think the club have this ambition. On current evidence.
It makes absolutely no sense to me. You have a beast of a striker, Aubemeyang to me is the best or the second best striker in the EPL probably just below....no at worst he is on par with Harry Kane. But when you take Aubemeyang out of the equation you now have pseudo-wingers everywhere, most of them are absolutely not creative or washed up like this Armenian guy. I get that the back line is poor and deserves attention but if Man City manages to outplay Liverpool the way Arsenal did for the first 10-20 minutes it will be early curtains for Liverpool so it is not as if their attack is excellent either. I mean you have a 4-3-3 of Aubemeyang and Lacazette(or whoever starts) and Iwobi, how exactly is that going to win a football match against serious teams? If I am an Arsenal fan I will consider my club a joke presently because it seems the board has settled with the Europa league as the next best thing

What is this guy yapping? I believe Iwobi has played as CM in a couple occasions under Wenger.

What’s your take on this piece?

Arsenal: Georginio Wijnaldum the perfect transition for Alex Iwobi

by Andrew Dowdeswell20h ago
Georginio Wijnaldum was the best player on the pitch as Liverpool dismantled Arsenal 5-1 on Saturday. His midfield transition would be ideal for Alex Iwobi.

Alex Iwobi was one of Arsenal’s brightest players in Saturday’s humiliating 5-1 defeat to Liverpool. That is a far more praise-enthused sentence than its actual meaning. In reality, hardly any Arsenal players played even remotely brightly. For Iwobi to be the brightest is not to say very much whatsoever.

Nevertheless, after some rather underwhelming performances following a strong to the season, it was nice to see the Nigerian play with the same energy, directness and attacking purposefulness that punctuated his play earlier in the year and as a fearful youth prospect.

Iwobi started on the left wing. That has predominantly the position that he has most commonly been used in throughout his career, especially since Unai Emery’s arrival in the summer. And he does bring some key skills that are useful in that role. He is a good dribbler, has decent pace, is an intelligent and creative player in the final third, and is improving in his end product.

That said, his lack of goals and assists, especially the former, does limit his value and efficacy when playing so high up the pitch. In the modern game, wingers and attacking midfielders are expected to contribute to the attacking returns of the team. In fact, it is often the case that wingers are the team’s leading scorers — Eden Hazard, Mohamed Salah, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo. Iwobi, though, will never really be that kind of player. He simply does not have the quality or striking mentality.

The same was said about Liverpool central midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. He was an attacking midfielder and winger built very much in a similar mould to that of Iwobi. Skilful, smart on the ball, athletic and intelligent, but lacking in the number of goals that he created and scored. And so, Jurgen Klopp, when Wijnaldum arrived at Anfield from Newcastle United, decided to change his position.

Now, two years later, Wijnaldum is one of the best central midfielders in the country, a dominating force with terrific range, composure, consistency and power. This slightly deeper starting position accentuates what Wijnaldum can do well and limits what he does not so well. And those pros and cons are comparable to Iwobi’s — for the record, I have long spoken of Iwobi’s potential in central midfield.

It took Wijnaldum time to adapt to the new role. There were some defensive vulnerabilities, with his positioning sometimes exposed on the counter-attack. But as he grew into the position and became more acclimated with his responsibilities, such was the complementary nature of his physical and technical skills that he took to it superbly. The modern game demands a mobile a central midfielder with comfort and composure on the ball. Wijnaldum, and Iwobi, offer precisely that.

Whether Iwobi will every try central midfield or not remains to be seen. I cannot remember a time that he has played in midfield, but it is something that I would like to see. Hopefully Emery will give him a chance to do so sometime soon.

—FANSIDED
No vex eh but the fact that Iwobi is a starter for Arsenal at this present age and time shows just why they are not a top four or five team anymore. Let us be brutally honest, Iwobi is not good enough to be a starting winger or even a starting AmF for any top team, he plays the first five games of the season as if his life depends on it then goes completely off the boil, he has done that for three seasons now so that's just the way he is. At some point Arsenal will have to realise that they need to buy quality wingers if they are to challenge anybody

bro on point 1 I disagree with you a bit look at the picture that be good joe posted showing the golden eaglets players in 2013 you can see that francis is barely taller than kelechi and taiwo but today compare his height to them he's way taller and don't forget the aforementioned guys have grown taller as well.

When it comes to human biology no two people are the same some people develop gradually some others stay the same for a long time before experiencing a sudden growth spurt so saying what is possible and not possible without concrete facts except personal opinion can always lead to misjudgment
There is this picture that someone posted earlier, Uzoho with his teammates at Aspire that will give you a better idea, in that picture that theGoodJoe posted they were standing on elevated platforms so that the people at the back can be seen, it wouldn't be impossible if he was standing at a lower point than those standing beside him so the camera can capture it perfectly. But if you see that actual picture from aspire you will see that his height then is still almost his height now. By the way I didn't make this deductions from the image, I actually asked a friend a long time ago to get me the medical reports of the that U17 set when this issue of Uzoho's age first came up, he gave it to me and even told me it was published in nationsport or something like that back then, Uzoho's height now isn't more than 3cm abi inches taller than back then(I have actually lost the pictures of their medical report from their U17 days or I would have consulted it). Now you agree with me that some people grow slowly while others just shoot up like a plant in a dark place, but the primary fact which even you have alluded to is that between 14-20 there has to be something resembling growth, be it slow or rapid growth but there has to be something. In this case that he hasn't grown tall but has only added in his body mass I believe I am in a position to medically ascertain that he wasn't 14 then but he was close to the bone fusion age which is 17, that is only a 3 year gap so I don't really care which is why I agreed with tbaba when he said 22-24 because in that case it becomes medically possible.

Let me give you another example, according to Bolt he is 32, however records show that when Bolt was 15 he was 1.96m and as at now he still is 1.96m which means he wasn't 15 when he said he was, what happened? Bolt can't even play active football for 30minutes. Forget that he isn't a good football, he just doesn't have the stamina to complete just 30minutes of intense football at 32, how does that make sense

My elder brother studied abroad and by 21 he was already done with his masters and was comfortable there and he got married at 21 and I am a core Igbo man so the people saying that he can't be 20 because he decided to get married cannot use that as an evidence against him, it holds nothing at all

I am not sure that changing the age from 26 to 29 will change what I said but okay, it is possible for someone to grow facial beards at 29 even 35. Take a poor 30 year old off the street and you will see a serious increase in body mass with an improved diet, everybody can become fat or muscular I hope you know? With the right diet and daily routine which is why we don't consider body mass, we deal with height which cannot increase beyond 2-4 inches tops no matter the improvement in your diet. That has been my main point and the only reason why I raised it is because it is a valid medical point, in fact I can present this in court as my evidence and it would count

Has absolutely nothing to do with body size by the way. Beards are kinda hereditary too. Whenbwe were still in med school there was this guy who had absolutely nothing on his chin while I had a little goatee and he was the butt of all my jokes, between 24 and 25 when he graduated and his internship year I don't know how, but his face became worse than that of Osama. I thought he used drugs or something but he is my very close friend and I know he didn't, it wasn't until later on that his dad told me that he started developing his own beards at 30 that i understood that it runs in the family. So saying you can't sprout beards at 27 is false.

By the way isn't it funny that his height at 14 is barely 2 inches less than his current heighthuh Oga you can't, as in you cannot add just two inches between 14 and 20, absolutely not possible
