I beg to disagree with u sir.it's true that our economy is definitely not where it shuld be,but that doesn't mean that a lot of youths won't get lucky,leave school and start a successful life.
These girls are way too young(well,I guess their young,since they're in 100 level) to hav jumped into d conclusion that life in naija will be a dead end for them once they leave skool. They still hav at least 3 years b4 they start worrying abt a labour market that might or might not eat them raw and spit them out.
Making such a decision that early is like deciding not to put ur children thru secondary skool becos "gaining admission into d university in naija is hard",so why bother trying,wen u can teach them a hand-trade rite after primary skool.

I think good english is as a result of a little bit of both education and intelligence.Proper grammar,(in this case,I mean PERFECT diction)might not "entirely" be as a result of proper education;it's very possible for someone who hasn't been thru all levels of formal education,to acquire good diction thru intentional,self-improvement efforts(reading novels,newspapers,dictionaries, watching movies,etc).however,it is impossible for someone who has absolutely NO education(not even primary education!) to acquire "perfect" diction,cos,unlike d british,who hav only english as their means of communication,nigeria has several languages(including pidgin) which wuld undoubtedly pepper d language of a person that has never seen d 4 walls of any skool at all.such a person culd eventually be able to communicate,at best,passibly in english,but wuld never be 100% flawless.
On d other hand,a person who speaks "perfect" english,must hav at least,a reasonable level of intelligence,because it takes brains to imbibe and maintain some of d lessons we were taught in english language classes,afterall,you culd see two ppl who grew up in d same neighbourhood,attended d same skools and classes,sat thru d same grammar lessons,and are generally exposed to d same environmental factors,but one has impeccable diction,while d other still says: "kunle is fatter than I do" or "emeka and adamu has paid their school fees"
