oluafolabi: Nigerians and their never ending hypocrisy. The movie is rated 18+ meaning it's not meant for children. You probably saw the trailer and yet still went ahead to watch it. You have probably read the book too.
So what are you complaining about? I have never seen an article from you condemning po.rn in Nigeria but you can proudly show how much of an hypocrite that you are by condemning a movie into which so much effort was put into.
SMH. Thank you, that movie is rated 18+ and don't know why the op is ranting on about children seeing the movie. |

GEJ till 2019 Can you state 5 good reasons to vote for GEJ having endured the longest 6 years of a corrupt clueless government that will make Babaginda and Abacha look like saints. PDP has been running this country for over 15 years now and Nigeria still has a very low life expectancy, high crime rate, high unemployment, No welfare for citizens, laughable infrastructures....... You have to be dumb not to want a change. |

Politics › Re: President Goodluck Jonathan's Stewardship In Retrospect by mickyeddi: 4:35pm On Feb 06, 2015 |
yazz09: First of all you have to note that the president will not come and force anybody to labour and fend for him or her self. That been said.
There has been a tremendous turnaround in the agricultural sector of this nation since Jonathan regime. Before now farming was seen as a poor man business but today it's a different story. When I was in school, from primary to university there have been epileptic power supply in different parts of the country but today though we can't boast of 24hours power but we all know that it's "7 up". What of educational system in Nigeria that was almost dead, hence the trooping in of private schools all over the country. Not only is his regime building new schools but making government school teachers feel proud of the profession. What of the road he has embarked on constructing and or repairing. The Nigeria railway has never functioned for so many decades, but in his single stay in the office he has brought it from the pit that the past presidents has put it in and is lifting the sector high than every other transportation systems in this nation.
You still want more?
OK on more.
You say he is weak, that he can't fight boko haram? Let me ask you one thing, the alright USA, that I know you are praying to be a citizen of, searched for bin laden for 10 years before they take him out, but yet his boys still dey. ISIS has been terrorising for years now, USA plus other nations has not been able to take them out and they are claiming territories. But our president has fought boko haram not to a halt now but has paralysed them seriously.
GEJ all the way. Dude I'm European and don't crave for US citizenship like you folks in Nigeria. I di business in Nigeria and don't know much about its politics but what I know is there nothing I've seen so far that justifies another term for the current president. |
Travel › Re: Uae Entry Restriction(s) For Nigerians by mickyeddi: 11:56am On Feb 06, 2015 |
Nigerians! It's not only UAE that does this. Eastern European countries like Bulgaria and the other Balkan states have tougher rules for Nigerians in particular because una wahala too much. No be by force you must travel, you mention farming to a Nigerian they will say God forbid but will happily go and wash toilet and shave old women toto for care home abroad. |
Politics › Re: President Goodluck Jonathan's Stewardship In Retrospect by mickyeddi: 3:48pm On Feb 05, 2015 |
yazz09: @op you are an example of blind drivers trying to claim he knows it all. Tell me a president of this nation since 1960 that has turned the economy of this nation for the better. From our independence till now this administration has been the one that has constructively changed this nation in all the various sectors. The man you are campaigning for when he was the president what did he do to make this nation better. If we start writing his atrocities it will be a book on its own. I personally choose to vote for someone that has brought real transformation to our country, despite his mistakes. Nobody is perfect and nobody can do it all, but I'll not stand for a visionless, revenge seeking tyrant.
GEJ all the way. Well, you can counter the OP's arguments with GEJ's achievements in office. Tell us how Nigerians lives has improved in the past 6years, show us the reduction in queues in foreign embassies, show us how the power sector has improved, lecture us on how the security issues has improved in the past 6 years instead of lame responses. |

Politics › Re: President Goodluck Jonathan's Stewardship In Retrospect by mickyeddi: 3:42pm On Feb 05, 2015 |
Mr President is the only president in the world whose parliament gulps 75% of the national budget as alleged by the CBN Gov. yet they still soak themselves in $625m bribery scandal. Jonathan has not even initiated let alone fulfilling a single campaign promises except the one that he needs to surround himself with brain dead women in his cabinet. If that's not enough to engage most Nigerians brain to see this government is hopeless, then nothing will. |
Christianity Etc › Re: ''Jesus' Holiness, Saint Daniel MyeriJesu'' (A Reverend's Change Of Name) by mickyeddi: 10:08am On Feb 05, 2015 |
Chinaimporter: Religion is the cry of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.
The abolition of religion as the illutionary happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo.
A lot of people on this forum are so dumb that they will not be able to comprehend your post. |
