MissionaryArchi:
Great reply sir.
Some client will go as far as telling you to forget about structural drawings and just give them Architectural that their supposed builders can handle the structural works and when it fails, they begin to blame the Architect or the non existing structural Engineer

Some Architects too are greedy. One called me up when he had a challenge. I gave him an idea about a few practical engineering solutions to his challenge. Na xo baba japa o.

Afriqan:
The graduates are not the problem. It's greedy home owners and property developers who try to ignore directions from registered civil engineers and architects that are behind most of the collapse.

I am sure someone like you wouldn't want to pay a structural engineer for ur home, you'd rather call Baba Kasali 'the experienced bricklayer' so u can give him 20k and build a duplex...

Did you read the part where he said he's a graduate of Civil Engineering .
He knows better than to call Baba Mukaila the experienced bricklayer. You've mentioned the real problem. Prospective home owners think they are smarter than practicing engineers. They call you up to come see them. You offer them advice with an agreement that they'll notify you when they are ready but they just get a bricklayer to do the job.
So it is what it is.

Exactly. He took away the simplicity

mrkings84:
Ok, it's ok. But now that the victims were unconscious at the time of the report I don't know what we are arguing now.....

Yes they were shocked, and that left them with severe burns (electrocuted) but due to quick rescue operation they didn't die.
So uncle in situations like this what will your profession call it?

It's no use going back and forth with you.
You're correct.
Enjoy your day.

mrkings84:
I don't need to check cos I know the meaning. It's u that need to go check it...

I know ur mind is it's only means when someone is shocked to death. NO, it means something else. That's I won't tell u. Go check it urself, at least u gonna learn something new...

Lol. Baba in Occupational Health and Safety, Electrocution means death caused by electricity. I don't need to do any background check. It's my occupation hmm.

Check America's Occupational Health and Safety Administration's definition or UK's Health and Safety Executives' definition not just some random definition from Google.

If they had sustained severe burns the write up will state it. But immediately you mention Electrocution in Occupational Health and Safety...... The victim did die as a result of the incident.

Electrical + Execution = Electrocution

mrkings84:
But I didn't see any line of the news where it's mentioned that any of the victim was dead, so why the rip??

Lol . Check the meaning of Electrocution.

Failed politics. Twitter is not talking about the ban. The masses are not talking about it. Only the federal government is talking about it.

Me think, the ban of twitter has even made the fg more unpopular

The attention (both positive and negative) they get from us has reduced. Someone like that foolish Adamu Garba has been quite ever since then.

They are becoming irrelevant already.

Thank God. The subject I teach is not something most schools understand or know much about. So whenever I'm called for micro-teachings like that, I'm not shaky because even if I "tabon", no body will notice. .

Sometimes I confuse them with my British accent that they give up looking for faults. Lol..

Luckily for me, I've never made any mistakes.

What subject pls?

how many days does it use? Mine use like 14 days and then I can barely do anything with it again

They do promo. I got mine for less than N300 last year. If your Playstore is in Naira, get a card that works and you can buy it once and enjoy on all your devices.

Even at that they dont have a very good bass like poweramp

Imagine if Spotify could partner with or just buy Poweramps' engine

m140:
Even at that they dont have a very good bass like poweramp

If you keep tweaking your phone equaliser you'll get something close. I still use my Poweramp too. But I just feel it's time we start appreciating our artists for a job welldone.

SirMichael1:
Nawah oh. I just keep getting it all wrong.

Lol. My job involves relating with people, both as Site engineer and a Safety Officer so I had to learn it. It's not natural for me. Left to me, it's just easy to avoid everybody. In fact I hate crowdy areas.
For the phone calls, typing is trying for me. Before you know it I've switched to voice notes. So most times I'll just call.

How then do you cope with your 'staying-indoor' spree? Also, do you like phone calls?

Contrary to that, I'm always on site. I hate chatting actually. I'd rather calls.

Spotify

You're on dark mode right. Fellow Xiaomi user.
Now you can exclude Spotify from being affected by the dark mode settings. Spotify is already dark. Look at the play button.

Go to settings, search dark mode, choose more dark mode options, then switch the button in front of Spotify off.

Peace.

SirMichael1:
You're a phlegmatic. You should go out more often.

A little. I lean more towards melancholic actually.
