I was about to ask the same question. I use the 4/64GB version without second space (I dont need it), and the last update I got for MiUi 12.5 has been cool so far. So I don't get the point he's trying to make.

Xiaomi is crazy. Their software engineers are bunch of Amateurs. As bad as Tecno, infinix and itel are, It is very uncommon to hear users complaining about software bugs.

Mine is 9A and The RAM stats, Battery usage stats and Memory usage stats are all incorrect and inconsistent. In addition to that, the 5000mah battery is wack and doesn't last long at all. Sometimes when I power it ON, it gets stucked on the Redmi boot logo until I force it OFF and ON it again. I just pray it doesn't get stucked permanently one of these days. But I will try my best to sell it out before it gets to that stage.

The problem here is that I have forgotten the password and the sim card I used fir the registration have lost. Have anyone had such issue before and what was the solution?

Few weeks back, I changed the screen of my RN7 everything seemed good and fine till the next day, the network started going off and on. I'd have to restart the phone before the network would come up. I took it back to the repaired and he said nothing was wrong as the antenna was still intact.

The next day, the phone started having difficulty charging. It doesn't charge when it's on. I have to switch it off, before it can charge. And it takes close to 6 hours before I get 1% charge on it. This is really frustrating. If it runs down to 0 it would take the whole day before it gets to 1%.

Please what could be wrong? The battery, the charging port or software issues?

Definitely your technician. This is why I don't repair phones. From one wahala to another.

Your choice bro. There is a long list of things that has been corrected. For me I enjoy the feel, adjustments as well as additions made to the new update. I update my phones in good faith and if there are issues, I'm certain they'll get fixed.

You are talking about the app icon that shows at the top. They've removed it. Pull down the notification tray it's there. It's not just displaying the icon.
