Eh but America gives its poor monthly allowances and no matter how poor you are there, you must go to school... So what exactly are you saying?
I'm sure you'll agree with me that training has depth and quality as well. I agree with the monthly allowance you mentioned but majority of what we have over there can't be replicated here, at least not until our perspective and orientation is changed.
Many youths don't even need monthly allowance. They'll rather jobs are created so they can earn a meaningful income.

Seriously? What kind of entitled thinking is this? Is anyone responsible for training another person’s child? Is that why a poor person will give birth to a brood? The rich give birth to only a few children because they want the number they can give the best to. So the children who think they will never allow others to rest will end up in jail. Nonsense!!!
An enabling environment is what the government owes people. But to train the children of the supposed poor people! Nah.

Updating a phone makes the os more power efficient, it doesn't add extra mAh to the battery.
And when we talk about efficiency, power consumption, Ram optimization and so on is inclusive right?

When there’s an election and you all sit at home like it is not about your country or the future of your kids what do you expect? If everyone should turn out and insist on the number of votes being counted, recorded and submitted in the presence of everyone, after comparing the total number of votes with the total number of people around, things will change. If people stop taking bribes to vote for irrelevant unsuitable candidates, things will change. When people stop being tribalistic about candidates, but instead look for the most suitable candidates, things will change. Some of the people sitting in front of Alausa and CBN have ulterior motives. Some are there for the noise, some to see if any cash will be given, some to disrupt things.... The uprisings that changed the situation in some countries seemed to have been successful initially. A few years, and for some a few months, along the line, those who took over proved to be worse than those they wrestled power from. The best thing is to go out as a nation and vote in a way that your vote will count. Get international bodies involved and not the facade of involvement. Get international news bodies involved. Enlighten everyone, even the police, soldiers and thugs involved. Let the thugs know that in a country that works, they won’t need to debase themselves by becoming thugs. Stop voting in or allowing people who can’t lead to lead this country. A person who has no knowledge or history of leadership rises up to take up a leadership position, and everyone sheepishly allows this!!!!
When you read through post like this. One's tempted to believe this country cannot work. We really do have a long way to go. Hmm lipsrsealed

Definitely! But I don’t know why she was beaten. People protest in different ways. Some people protest peacefully while respecting the rights of others. Some protest like everyone else has nothing to protest about. They are bitter souls who don’t watch what they say. Then we have the ones who go totally overboard, burning buildings that did nothing to them. Bottom line, we don’t know what transpired between her and the police. But if it is true she was asked to reveal her breasts that are private to any woman, then they are no better than the criminals we pay them to arrest.
Well, I agree with your points. Majority of the youths on the roads are actually extorting money from vehicle owners here in Ib before they are allowed to move. It's a shame.

But I find that impossible to believe. Did she steal anything they felt she was hiding? This protest has brought out out the ugly in so many people who claim they are fighting for the rights of Nigerians. I honestly don’t believe her as I feel her story is contrived.
You are somewhat right but you do believe she was beaten right? - from the video evidence.

What are they doing with her bra? Sounds like she’s looking for sympathy. The police have acted like heroed who have their own grievances. What did she do attract their wrath? All these one sided meaningless stories!!!!
But you'll agree with me that the way they treated her was bad. She's not a criminal now. As for the bra! She was only appalled at how she was told by a female PO to take off her clothes (her bra inclusive) in front of other male POs!...
