SAK: When is OANDO moving now ?? Na wa o Be patient until when the share redistribution ratio is announced. I am not sure of the exact process or procedure but I think the registrars would have to do some work on individual shareholders' account after getting authorization/clearance from the company and SEC/NGX. |

gloriousdawn: Expect heightened volatility in stock prices as the year-end approaches, driven by increased trading activity. This may include portfolio rebalancing, tax-related strategies, and attempts to influence year-end valuations. Be aware of potential artificial price movements on the final trading day, as some market participants may seek to optimize performance metrics. Position yourself strategically to capitalize on these expected fluctuations while managing risks effectively. Valid |

A govt that wastes resources by searching online platforms to look for citizens and people criticising it. They must be ready to build a million prisons to contain people like me who are criticising the clueless T-Pain. Under his forsaken tenure, in less than 2 years, Nigeria has turned to a graveyard of people dying from hunger-induced stampede because of rush for a bag of rice.....Lagos, Ibadan, Anambra, Abuja, Okija etc. Something that was very rare just a few years ago |

Nettering nitwits can cry blood, Tinubu is focused and no amount of blackmail, vitriol and aspersions can derail his movement. Stop the hype and propaganda. Tinubu is clearly clueless and incompetent. Most Nigerians can always lick the ass of any rich or socalled politicians man, so I am. not surprised. Tinubu is a total failure. |

Raider76: I wouldn't call this a selloff. There were only four transactions =>100,000 in volume, while total volume traded for the day is <5m. I think it is just the effect of the uncertainty caused by the lack of clarity of how and when the share redistribution is going to take place. If Oando likes, let it drop to N20 or rise to N100. Those that would sell, will sell. Those that would buy, will buy. There will always be rise and fall in price of every stocks on NGX. This Xmas/New Year period is usually bearish. |

I was so impressed when I read about Otedola’s reaction to that of FBN. And he is a billionaire oh. I mean, you can still have a very good party without those wastages. I used to grant him benefit of the doubt but I now understand why some people always accuse Wale of bad corporate governance and mismanagement. The timing of this kind of recklessness is just not right. |

BabsO2: Oando needs to celebrate the big achievements it has made this year with the successful acquisition of NAOC assets with workers. The bigger Oando work force (ex NAOC & old Oando) need morale boosters of belonging to a great BIG Oando to ginger them to do exploits of restoration of assets to top notch production performance.
Abeg the staff needs the party to keep their spirits high to rev up production safely while thinking out of the box and enjoying their team working that will surely deliver results.
What you need is to get your snacks at the AGM . So workers need Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy to keep their spirits high? Incredible So other companies that did not invite these artistes, are you saying that their workers spirits are low or demoralized? |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 7:52pm On Dec 20, 2024 |
BabsO2: Shareholders are not the only stakeholders in Oando. The staff who create the value we all enjoy are also critical stakeholders that have worked very hard in the year and deserve their usual Christmas parry.
Christmas party is not for shareholders but for Oando staff. It's attending AGM and any snacks shared there that is for we shareholders when it comes to parry and merriment . Xmas party can be held in a modest way just like other companies. They don't even need to invite any artiste to have Xmas party. What is the essence of inviting and paying huge sums to 3 artistes when your shareholders are struggling and the company is hugely debt ridden? How many companies did you see or hear that they paid 3 expensive artistes for Xmas party? Will you do thst if your own company is strugling to survive? Stakeholders like banks and creditors are also there. We just read a few days ago how Otedola reacted when FBN held a lavish party for a retiring director. |

brotherly: Nothing wrong with celebrating with a year-end party, even if they choose a high-profile artist.
Their positive spirits indicate they've overcome challenges and are optimistic about the future. Holding parties to celebrate and paying artistes with shareholders money when the shareholders have not been paid a dime as dividend for a decade, and are dying of hunger? A company ridden with huge debts and struggling to stay afloat? Such parties should be held when the company is experiencing good tidings and shareholders and key stakeholders have been taken care of and are happy. |

Did you buy HONEYWELL at #4+ when I called severally here? I have said it, that one of the best ways to make huge money in the stocks market is to look out for undervalued stocks that have stagnated in price because the company is undergoing some restructuring, or turnaround. I mentioned Honey Well, Int'l Breweries. Int'l Breweries will also break out, but the problem is no one knows the exact time when the turnaround will be complete. Namaster: Divorced women are a big TABOO!
They should be AVOIDED like politicians avoid the truth.
It's either they are so HORRIBLE that a man who spent money on TRADITIONAL and CHURCH marriage could no longer put up with them.
Or
They are so STUPID that made the CHOICE to marry a TERRIBLE man. In other words, they did not see, or saw and chose to ignore, RED FLAGS throughout the dating and courtship phase until they got hitched to a bad man.
Either way, DIVORCED women are BAD news! Stop generalizing anyhow. I don't you think will be saying this if your sister or daughter becomes divorced one day. Things do happen that may not be the fault of the victims |

femisplash: This was a repeat of what happened in SEPLAT/ExxonMobil deal before it was resolved through the President's intervention. With recent acquisitions, the Government is working towards its projections of 2.3 million barrel per day. Stop telling lies and twisting stories to hype and promote a clueless and incompetent President. The Seplat/Mobil deal was blocked by NNPCL who went to court to enforce their right to first refusal as was contained in their original JV with Mobil which was in ratio NNPC 60: Mobil 40. They went into negotiations and as a compromise, Mobil had to concede additional10 percent of the JV to NNPC and sold the balance to SEPLAT. So the new JV between NNPC and Seplat is in ratio 70:30 Tinubu did not do jack! |
