Without INT DIV, an H1 EPS of ₦7.00+ will give the SP a massive boost...

My projection is min ₦40 smiley
You may be right.
I just hope no interim div; so price can cool down a bit for me to load some units

If the possiblity of paying dividend becomes clear, I can buy it. The current run is going to crumble if they don't pay interim. Firstbank is a slightly different story because of the presence of that deep pocket.
Yeah, you're probably right

Normally, I don't do banks. PTSD 😁. But I've been trading access.
Access will clock N60+ once they clear the CBN requirement; they can easily sell off some stakes in their foreign subsidiaries as they indicated.

Sometimes, you may consider the possible turnaround period for a stock that is underperforming due to some specific reasons.
E.g.
Japaual: commencement of gold refining/trade activity
Access: compliance with CBN capital threshold vs foreign subsidiaries (will automatically report high profits and declare dividends once it achieves after the 1 year timeline given by CBN i.e. Dec 2026)

So if someone paid a million dollars into your account and the originating account is known to belong to someone in the illicit drug business it means you are also in the illicit drug business? It means you are guilty? Is such a conclusion logical? The money was traced to drugs because they know who transferred it but Tinubu himself had a legitimate source of livelihood. A mature man with real identity and name to protect saying this kind of thing publicly can be sued for damages after being warned. Are you wiser than the judge or judges that didn't convict him?
Congrats! Suit yourself!
You can even throw a party and celebrate the same record/information that the person involved did not want released for the public to know.

Where did they get their guns and weapons from?
What other kidnaps and killings have they taken part in? etc

If you know all this, then you should rest assured that Oando can bounce back. They just need to quicken their restructuring.
It is hard to see one's investment lose value, but companies in these critical industries always overcome their challenges:
Breweries, Cement, Oil & Gas (upstream) due to natural barrier to entry as a result of high capital requirements, hence few competitors.

What is the rationale behind supporting Israel and Jews?

Can you explain?

And before you call me a fanatical Muslim know that I am not.
I support Israel and Jews because they deserve to be in their ancestral land that they had lived in and ruled historically by kings like David, Solomon, Hezekiah etc for more than 3,000 years ago. Long before Jesus Christ and Mohammed were born.
But some people all of a sudden claim that the land of Israel only came into existence in 1948 and they gang up to attack, destroy and exterminate Israel using many lies. When Israel overcomes and defeats them, the aggressors start shouting ''genocide''.

Even the Quran mentioned Israel and the Jews but some people now say they want to exterminate them from the face of the earth just they want to take over the holy land.

Imagine seeing your OANDO portfolio drop by up to 80%, and someone calls it a blessing. I bought some of my OANDO holdings at N71 and above.
No situation is permanent in this market.

A stock with solid fundamentals or prospects in key industries will deliver in the long run. Trust me. The problem is our inability to hold and be steady when price falls.
FBNH at IPO price was N30 in 2007/2008. It dropped to N3-N5 for some years.
Today, it is N121+

There are several examples.

If you believe in the prospects, Oando can still bounce back; you will not lose!
But it depends on your investment goals, horizon and your willingness and capacity to hold it out.

A good Q2 result notwithstanding non declaration of interim dividend will keep ACCESSCORP up and moving.
Investors would be compensated with the final dividend which surely it will pay.
Even with good results, the price would be affected somehow if no interim is declared. Investors would move funds towards banks paying interim dividends. And there is no guarantee for a final dividend until they publish draft results for the full year, which will be next year.

A rich friend snatched a car without your knowledge and parked it in your house while he traveled. The police traced the car to your house, so you’re an armed robber who specializes in car jacking: your logic. 👌✌️
I did NOT say he was CONVICTED!
I only said the funds in the account were traced to DRUGS! Tell me if it is a lie.
In the US, plea bargaining is part of their law. Not every crime or offence leads to conviction if the prosecution accepts your plea bargain.
And no one would willingly plea bargain and lose USD460,000 for no offence or crime.
Let's educate ourselves properly and stop these conspiracy theories.

Present the report of the investigations and show where he was convicted as being complicit in the deals. You and your type are the ones who use vitriolic sentiments to push whatever drivel you desire to push regardless of any facts before your naked eyes.

Stop derailing the thread.✌️
You started the stories to justify drug dealings on this thread!
Now, that you are being exposed, you are typing ''stop derailing the thread''
You are asking me to present evidence and show where he was convicted and still saying ''stop derailing the thread'
Hypocrite.

You’re the one who doesn’t know how things role in the U.S. Tinubu is a Black man, who was an easy target to convict and score cheap political point. He wasn’t an American, not to talk of being powerfully connected back then—he was just another “nigga”. Al Capone was an American and a Philanthropist that was loved by the people around him, until his later years when the gang rivalry turned violent. So it was easier for him to get away with his crimes. Al Capone was officially confirmed as a drug gang leader, nothing of such was reported or confirmed of Tinubu apart from him forfeiting funds deposited into his accounts while he was on political asylum in the state. Don’t forget that he had already retired from ExxonMobil and was a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at that time, so ~$400K (check the exchange rate in 1993/4) was not really a big money for his status and stature. I don’t want us to derail this thread. ✌️
The funds deposited in his account were traced to DRUGS! That is FACT!

Cant she relocate to somewhere in Europe, US or Canada?
These SA people seem to harbour hatred towards her and may do something dangerous to her if she still stays here.

Most of those talking don’t know how these things work, and I avoided engaging with the topic since I’m not Tinubu’s spokesperson. It’s not uncommon for us to do peer-peer naira/dollar money swaps as people in diaspora and it’s not every of one’s friend that one knows their “true sources” of income. Also, a friend can as well ask you to help them receive an inflow into your account if their own bank account has an issue or their daily or monthly transfers have been reached. As a friend whom you’ve related with, you may not think they’re into drugs and accept such a request. If Tinubu had been involved in the drug deals (and his account was not just used as a conduit without his consent of the deal), he would have been criminally convicted and jailed, and would not have just forfeited the funds.
I don't think we need to restart further debates on this issue.
The FBI and US court thoroughly investigated all possible circumstances surrounding the matter and settled everything.
Both the sender, recipient, source of funds, activities, etc. were all investigated. None of them came up with all these lame stories and rationalizations that are being thrown up by people here who were neither party nor witnesses to the case.
Even the person at the center of it all did not come up with all these excuses and conjectures.

But we are Nigerians; a people highly talented with uncanny ability and capacity to manufacture incredible, outrageous, mischievous conspiracy theories on every matter or topic. We ignore all the facts and evidence and go for our fantasy conspiracy theories
When the person is in our camp:. we create and polish the best conspiracy theories to praise, eulogize, worship, adore, defend the person.
When the person is in the opposing camp: we manufacture the craziest conspiracy theories to denigrate, demonize, rubbish, humiliate the person.

It's okay.
Let's continue. We dey together inside the country as e be!
