helinues: It be like Israel no get anything for their head apart from war war and war You don't know anything about the deep-seated hatred that the Arabs and Muslim world have against Israel and their determination to destroy Israel and delete it from the surface of the earth. The existence of Israel on the surface of the earth is a violation of some of their religious and ideological beliefs. Tthat is why they can go any length to fight and kill Israelis/Jews. It is Israel's military strength, intelligence and Western support that has been helping them survive all this while. They hate Israel/Jews more than humans hate snakes! |

Over 300M units bids on queue ! That single offer of 90m may be deliberate to keep the bull on for long. Make them let me grab my 20m units in peace so I can relax for just 30-40% profit. I wont be selfish, I promise. |

pluto09: Are they really doing well? What is your yardstick for measuring "their doing well " Price movement Has anything changed with the financial statements? Please Note: there is a difference between the company performance and the stock performance Which investor would say a stock is not doing well if price jumps from .07 to N7.62+ (Deapcap)? Or from N2 to N15+ (Ellah)? Maximization of shareholders wealth is key....and the wealth/returns comes from price increase, dividend and bonus. Right now, price increase is compensating for the other two. |

[quote author= wwwihy post=138527380]Beautiful Aerial View of Lagos- Calabar Costal Highway in the Night is using N16trillion (approx. $11b) to build a single express road from Lagos-Calabar which will still take more than 4 years to complete. Imagine if this amount is used to repair, upgrade and build roads across the whole country Meanwhile, Ghana is using $10billion dollars to repair, upgrade and build roads across all the 16 regions of the country which will be completed in 2 years, latest 2028. Now, you can guess which of the two countries would benefit more socially and economically from the 2 scenarios. |

Valthegreat: There's something I don't understand in the trading pattern for stocks, if you check the market list for Japual you will see a long list of trades that has happened today but for 3days now I have been queuing at the maximum amount without getting any so how is the matching done?. How come over 100 bid has been matched with offers today but some bids will go through and others will fail, is it by first come first served or how does NGX determine whose bids to match first. Gurus in the house I need your help. Sometimes, you need to contact your broker trading on the floor to push your bid so you can buy faster. You cannot just rely on the app especially when there is so much huge demand for the stock, until the rush dies down a bit. |

wiki15: A lot of old Unity Banks shares converted into Providus-Unity Bank shares (17 for 18) will be available for public trade hence the listing by introduction being a strong possibility.
The good news is that there are more than 4 billion of these shares. Assuming that half of old Unity Bank shareholders didn't opt for cash, even listing by introduction will start with at least 2 billion retail shares meaning we may not lack sellers on Day 1 You may be right. But I fear those old Unity Bank shares may be entirely mopped up by current directors of the bank (insider deals) if they list by introduction, as they have both the funds and administrative leeway to do so through the brokers. |
