It is ironic isn't it that kids in the South sometimes go empty stomach to school, even without shoes and stayed in place until the end of school before going back home, while these kids in the North go to school and got fed with meal yet determined to run back home before the end of class. This is the litmus test of Nigeria, those with ambition and those without ambition. However when these kids in the North grow up, they will be our ruling class, the President, ministers, judges, top military brass and top civil servants whereas those ambitious kids in the South would be relegated if they are lucky to junior ministers, junior civil servants, clerks and any ambition for presidency will be fought and sabotaged even with terrorism. These kids know they are made whether they are in class or not, so they are not bothered. |
How can you give one food without water, this government sef, Must you be advised on every little thing, some leaders are not prepare to pilot the affairs of state just like Buhari, Animals drink water after their meal of Grass Even Camel in the Desert take in Gallons of Water Midget El Ruffian at Kaduna must be Deranged to Provide Food Without Water Abeg make no body blame the pupil they are even more human than their state government who can not provide water for digestion after meal, so what will the teachers teach them in health education...that after meal you go and search for water else where. Nnamdi Kanu you are a blessed man, for the singular act of calling the country a ZOO. |
Kaduna State Government, yesterday, expressed concern over the desertion of schools by primary school pupils after taking the free meal offered them. The pupils have developed the habit of leaving school immediately after the free meal under the guise of going to drink water. The state’s Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Shehu Adamu, told newsmen in Kaduna that government was disturbed by the situation. He appealed to parents to ensure that children remain in school after taking their free meals, so as not to jeopardise the programme. Adamu said that parents must also ensure that no child returned home until closing hours, “otherwise the aim would be defeated.” The commissioner stressed that the programme was introduced to encourage school enrolment, attendance and retention. He said: “The main goal of the school feeding programme is to attract out-of-school children to school and keep them in class for them to acquire education and better their lives. “We will not allow a situation where children will just come to school and leave the moment they finished eating their meals; if it is about water, we have already asked parents to provide water for their children. “Therefore, parents have a responsibility of ensuring that the children do not only come to school on time, but remain in school till closing hours. ” On the delay in paying vendors supplying food under the programme, he said they had been directed to open account with Heritage Bank through which they would be getting their payments. Adamu said the bank officials would screen and capture all the vendors in their respective local government areas. He reminded the food vendors not to cook on March 25 and 28, being Good Friday and Easter Monday. This administration is like the proverbial famer who went after thieves that looted his farm produce and made no plan for the next planting season, the farmer do not need any prophet to tell him that he and his family should be ready for hunger the next year |
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos State chapter, on Sunday, said President Muhammadu Buhari’s foreign trips were not aimed at finding a lasting solution to the many problems confronting Nigeria as claimed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), but rather to show gratitude to presidents who backed him in his bid to be president. Mr. Taofik Gani, PDP publicity secretary, said the President Buhari was merely embarking on ‘Thank You’ visits to leaders of foreign nations who supported him during the 2015 presidential election, which explains why there is no improvement in Nigeria’s economy despite the numerous foreign trips since he took over. According to a statement from the Presidency, Abuja, President Buhari would depart for Equatorial Guinea Sunday. President Buhari has been criticised by a section of the polity for his overseas trips. A few weeks ago, PDP stalwart, Governor Ayo Fayose, charged Nigerians to compel the President to “stay at home and govern.” Gani said the statement attributed to Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information, on Saturday that Nigeria’s economy is beyond President Buhari was an admission that the APC-controlled federal government was incapable of managing the affairs of the country. “What they have admitted is that they cannot provide solutions to the problems of the country. The expression by the Minister of Information is a vindication of our campaign that the APC-led federal government is too kindergarten and intellectually arrogant to manage the affairs of this sophisticated country. “They are arrogant because they do not want to see any trace of PDP in their government. They have decided to throw out the baby with the bath water. The experience and contributions of great minds like Akinwunmi Adesina, Okonjo-Iweala and other ministers under the PDP have all been rubbished because the APC government wants Nigeria to believe that there is nothing good in PDP,” he said. The PDP spokesman averred that the APC government was “clueless” becuase many programmes of the former administration have been scrapped. He alluded to the Sovereign Wealth Fund championed by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former Minister of Finance, which he said “saved Nigeria from even what America cannot survive when there was world economic downturn. The fact that there is a sharp fall in price of crude oil should not make the Nigerian economy this bad.” “Our economy is bad because the people who are in control are clueless and intellectually arrogant, refusing to seek the advice of those that can assist them. They are only playing partisan politics with our lives. What is expected of the Honourable Minister is not only to apologise to Nigerians but to honourably resign. “They have no solution to the myriads of problems confronting the country. The other day, they said all the foreign trips by President Buhari are to seek solution to our problems. If so, how come things are getting worse? I believe President Buhari’s numerous trips is just to say ‘Thank You’ to world leaders who supported him during the last presidential election,” he said. https://www.today.ng/politics/92751/foreign-trips-buhari-on-thank-you-visits-pdp |
Does He Not Have A Son Or Daughter? Lying Should Be In Their Gene |
I doubt if Nigerians will be patient enough to wait till 2019 before kicking this scammer out of aso rock |
This man is just clueless and old. He talks too much. Talks without thinking like his bloody illiterate Daura dolt. He should be fired before his clueless speech compounds problem to the country. The problems Nigeria is facing is already much |
He should also warn Buhari and his parochial brothers to stop eyeing our oil via NNPC policies |
Buhari is an arrant illiterate and very uncivilized and unintelligent, even unintelligible. I challenge anyone to convince me otherwise with factual reasons. Buhari will yet prove to be one of the greatest mistake Nigeria will be making as a nation. The judge submission is quite commendable We are in a complete dictatorial regime where the rule of law has been jettison into the garbage bin. |
BiafraBushBoy:Are you justifying Buhari's flagrant disregard for court orders ![]() Your post left me with a congealed blood ![]() |
StarOnEarth:Honestly, i think you're an embarrassment to everything decent in any society. The sooner you get out of your stone age mentality the better for you. The rule of law prevails at all times even during the war. You appear to be out of this world. |
This administration is showing every tendency of military dictatorship. I think we are gradually sliding back to the stone ages. The judge was bold enough to state it as it is. I am so happy to read from this honourable Judge. Shame on Mr John Tsoho(dishonorable charge and bail judge) who received bribe, promotion offer and plot of Lands to violate our 1999 Constitution. shame on Mr John Tsoho. My only advise to Swiss govt is,to please don't release the remaining Abacha loot in your country to this apc govt, because there is no sign of fighting corruption in them,if you do be expecting influx of Nigerian refugee in your country. |
An Abuja High Court has ordered for the immediate release of an aide to the former National Security Adviser, Nickolas Ashinzeh, from a military facility, warning against wrongful detention of suspects by Nigerian security agencies. Mr. Ashinzeh had approached the court to protest his prolonged detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the Nigerian Army and the Chief of Army Staff Tukur Buratai, without trial since December 23, 2015. Mr. Ashinzeh also prayed the court to order the respondents to pay N500 million as damage, and also issue an apology for violation of his rights. In his ruling, the trial Judge, Yusuf Halilu, ordered Mr. Ashinzeh to be released with immediate effect, adding that the agencies responsible for the detention must learn to act within the provisions of law. “The respondents have not behaved like those living in a civilized society. They behaved like we are still in the military era. “The EFCC’s motto is: Nobody is above the law; but they are acting as if they are above the law here,” Mr. Halilu said. He further said the era of overzealousness on the part of security officers would no longer be tolerated. “The EFCC Act is not superior to the 1999 Constitution as amended,” said Mr. Halilu. Mr. Halilu noted that based on Section 35 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, the detention of the applicant since December 23, 2015, is illegal, wrongful and a “blatant” violation of his (Mr. Ashinzeh’s) fundamental rights. He however did not grant the applicant’s prayer regarding payment of the sum of N500 million for damages as well as an apology from the respondents. Mr. Halilu also did not grant the prayers sought by the applicant that a perpetual injunction be issued to the three respondents. “Perpetual injunction can only be granted after trial especially when an accused person has proved his case. “If the EFCC has a case against the applicant they should take him to court,” he added. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/200130-judge-orders-release-dasukis-aide-blasts-efcc.html?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter |
Like PMB like DSS, no regard for our legal system but want to be obeyed... gradually destroying our democracy. |
An Anambra State High Court presided over by Justice R.O Onunkwo on Thursday gave four officials of the Department of State Services in the state who were involved in a battery matter two months to appear before it or risk being sentenced in absentia. The court order was coming following repeated absence of the DSS operatives in court on the issue. Onunkwo said after the two-month grace, the security operatives would lose their rights of defence, adding that he would be left with no other option but to enter judgement in default against them. The DSS officials had in April 2015 allegedly brutalised a businessman in the state, Chief Ifeanyichukwu Nwokoye, and his wife, Jessie. The court therefore ordered hearing notice on the DSS personnel for March 15, April 5th and 20th, as well as May 17th, 19th , 24th and 26th. Justice Onukwe, said on the March 15 hearing, the DSS would be expected to cross examine the witness who gave his evidence-in-chief on the March 10 sitting. The court had on 7 March summoned the DSS to appear before it on March 10, which the security outfit did not honour. When the matter came up on Monday March 7, the counsel to the DSS, Mr. S.T. Oneh, had announced his discontinuance with the matter. He said, “I used to appear for the respondents (DSS) in this matter. But the respondents have disengaged my professional service. I hereby notify the court that I no longer represent them.” Oneh, who tendered a letter disengaging his services by the DSS to the court, argued that he would not want to force himself on his former clients. But in the resumed hearing on Thursday, the DSS did not put up any appearance, a situation that caused the judge to give a leave of the court to the applicant’s lawyer, Prof Ilochi Okafor, SAN, to proceed with his motion to continue with the case in the absence of DSS. Nwokoye and his wife were allegedly brutalised by the men of the DSS in the state where Nwokoye’s sight was affected. Nwokoye, who narrated his ordeal in the hands of the DSS operatives, said, “I was handcuffed with my wife like common criminals. “I have never seen such a thing all my life. The retina of my eyes has been damaged. I was humiliated for no offence committed.” He alleged that he was brutalised because he refused to release information about 22 expatriate medical doctors invited by the Anambra State Government for free medical mission in the state, who were accommodated in his hotel. It will be recalled that Nwokoye had dragged the DSS to court for allegedly infringing on his fundamental rights. http://www.punchng.com/i-will-jail-you-in-absentia-court-warns-dss-operatives/ |
Good riddance. I rather disown my son than allow him bring the family to disrepute |
I wonder who the purposeless mallam is waving at.

Chai.... this is twice the monthly salary of the MERE COMMISSIONER Why are they treating Osibanjo like this |
So this rabble-rouser is married but went ahead to flirt with the inbreeding Ota orangutan. How do she combine family work and her tweeter lying profession |
OKDnigeria:The diminutive man is an emasculated and ineffectual errand boy. His office is not recognized neither is it regarded by the superior masters. |
salam1:Console your self..... Islam encourages child abduction, rape and forceful conversion. Oya give me one Christian senator or governor that runs baby factory business and I will give ten Muslim leaders with child brides |
On Kanu we stand... No amount of rule 9 can deter us from proclaiming and matching to the land flowing with milk and honey. Not even a thousand seun(a mere mortal) can dissuade us. Abi they can stop a moving train. don't bother banning me cos my mind is made up already |
The stands of these bigoted Muslim fanatics here is the reason why Islam will be forever be condemned, castigated, despised, abused and seen as the harbinger of primordial social vices and terrorism. Where were you guys when the pedophilic senator from Muslim extraction protested heavily against the law prohibiting child marriage? They simply said the law was in violation of their Islamic right/rites. Boko Haram, ISIS, al-quada, Al-shabbab, Hezbollah, child marriage, jihad, eye for an eye, polygamy and Sharia are the making of Islam. quote me anywhere |
ItsMeAboki:May your daughter or sister be kidnapped, raped and forcefully converted to paganism. I can't believe a sane mind will be vomiting those stuffs coming out of your mouth. To opine that Yinusa 'S action is not Islamic will amount to sheer hypocrisy because this isn't the first case of child marriage in Nigeria. Sanni yerima bought an Egyptian 13 year old toddler and claimed his actions were enshrined in the Sharia law. You should be asking yourself why VVF is rampant among Muslims |
ItsMeAboki:Save us the face-saving cock and bull story. What actions did all these you mentioned take? Had it not been for Punch, vanguard and well-meaning Nigerians, Ese would still be trapped in Kano. What was Sanusi's action when the matter was first brought before him? Who converted Ese to Islam and married her even without seeking the consent of her parents? If you happen to be a father and your son brings a toddler home and intimates you on his plan of marrying her, what will be your first action?? Why are you Muslims plainly evil and backward in all ramifications? Why did it take the order of an ordinary emir before a kidnapped victim is freed? |
If islam and muslims is against Yinusa's act, why did they all keed mute when the rapist brought the little girl from Bayelsa?...islam is the archited of all the evil its being accused of |
Celebrity monarch..... Dont be surprised if he ends up desecrating the land ![]() |
Mmmy:Imagine the clean Enugu environment he inherited from the past government is now a shadow of itself. No tangible project in the state as is the case with other Eastern states. Even the road leading to his hometown is nothing to write home about.....as if he is guaranteed a second term in office |
Facts and figures have clearly revealed that the religion of Islam and it faithful are the single most probable cause of large scale social unrest the world over. Just recently an Uzbekistan woman in Russia beheaded a two year old girl she was supposed to babysit and brandished the toddlers lifeless head and running amok while shouting Allahu Arkba then when interrogated by the police she said Allah commanded her to do it . Do we talk of the madness of ISIS,BOKO HARAM, Alshabab etc and making the several abduction of underaged girl by Islam faithfuls This is really why Nigeria should be destroyed. Just a few weeks ago, Muslims beheaded an Igbo man in Sokoto for carrying the Biafra flag; they beheaded Akaluka because of a false claim that his wife desecrated the Koran. And how many Pastors have been beheaded in the North? In the hundreds, and Christians massacred? In the hundreds of thousands. The sooner this Satanic and diabolical slave plantation called Nigeria ceases to exist, the better for humanity. |
