Gbadebo19:This Mr Gbadebo is from Illorin. His ancestors betrayed the Yoruba tribe for the Fulani jihadists. Mr Gbadebo's great grandfather was a traitor to the Yoruba race, his grandfather was a traitor, his father was a traitor, he is a traitor, and his children if he has any would be traitors to the Yoruba race and would not hesitate to betray you to Islamic Jihadists. There is no amount of good that you can do that can wash that stain of being traitors and Jihadists off you and your children. |
It's very hard to even get the accurate picture of the current situation on Twitter. So many fake news and too many propagandists on both sides. All these combined with the recycling of old situations and passing them as new. BTW, I'm just discovering this is the second attempt at an incursion into Kursk. The first one was October 1st of last year. They were quickly spotted and eliminated. Makes you wonder why Russia left that place unfortified. |
obedience4:You people never cease to amaze me. I'm sure you must be a paid "chat operator". When we criticize A for doing something bad, you bring up B as if B doing it changes it from bad to good. Last time I counted, The US has 149 military installations in Japan. That's minus the the 296 that was "returned to Japanese control". That's "a little more than a military base". In Okinawa, they say the US military occupies over 10% of the land in the city. Actually, I can understand Japan being subservient. If they are not, there will just be a "Long March to Tokyo". |
Faithti:I have seen reports that Ukraine came with air defense too. Russian intelligence failed woefully in that aspect. First, leaving a border city close to the warzone undefended, then failing to detect such a large movement of troops and equipments. Secondly, Russia must be underrating the Ukrainians in Kursk or determined to hold on to their gains in Ukraine. Like the report and many others say, they are not withdrawing battle-hardened troops from Ukraine, instead calling up reservists to deal with the situation. I'm willing to see how long Ukraine will hold it. |
obedience4:Sounds like a country under occupation ![]() |
dvkot:I'm really interested to see how Russia will respond. Ukraine is said to have about 10,000 soldiers in Kursk. Russia claims to have killed over 900 Ukrainian soldiers since the incursion began. Just recently, Ukraine struck a Russian convoy heading to the frontline in Kursk with HIMARS. Lots of Russian casualties I'm predicting is up 100. |
Procashtips:The obvious female features I'm talking about is breasts. I just didn't want to say it out loud ![]() |
shoodboi2:Edited: She is not a member of the Abcd community. Bold of you to even think conservative Algeria will allow a member of that community to represent her at the Olympics. "No tests have returned her as male. She has XY chromosomes and far higher levels of testosterone than the average female. If you have proof of the tests, post it." I have seen the interview of the IBA saying their tests show "she is a male". I don't know what to say or believe again.
Personally though, I don't think she should have been allowed to compete in any female boxing event. There is no equity in that, given the competitive edge. BTW, here is an unrelated pic of the USA U16 basketball team versus El-Savador U16 . Now, these are all athletes under 16. What do you think the score ended as?
|
shoodboi2:The Algerian is female by birth. Just seems to have a lot of "Male stuffs". I know it's hard to believe due to the absence of obvious female features. |
WriteerNg:E be like say you get time to dey argue with nonentities this morning ![]() |
dvkot:Omo, soldiers dey try o. Generally, they tend to follow orders as if there is an extra life waiting for them at home. I'm talking about soldiers worldwide. I'll rather desert the army than go for missions such as this. I heard this one is not for PR and the objective is the Kursk nuclear power plant so it can bolster Ukraine's negotiating stand. Damn, no consideration for the lives of the soldiers for what is basically a suicidal mission. |
Vic2023:Are they still fighting in Syria? Nawa o. When will that country have peace? |
Vic2023:Iran should stop disturbing us. They should attack if they want to attack. All these noisemaking doesn't move me. BTW, don't mind Trump. The man is just saying anything he can hold on at this time. |
dermmy:Genuine protestors should use their brain that they can always be infiltrated by people who have ulterior motives. A legitimate #Endsars lost its credibility when the said SARS was disbanded but still people started burning BRT buses, police stations, media houses, high court, looting and destroying private properties. I followed the protest from the beginning. The Bangladeshi youths said they were protesting against the "Quota system". They got the attention of the government and the said "Quota" was reduced from 30% to 5%. Rather than disband after achieving their aims, they let themselves be influenced by the opposition and international groups to continue and shifted to "the president must go". The same president they voted in this year with 75% of the vote. Now the president has gone. They are now left with their victory or loss, whichever they consider it to be. They'll look back to this day the same way Nigerians are looking back to the GEJ era. I just pity the 57 people, especially the three who received life sentences in the UAE for protesting. |
WriteerNg:I always knew it will lead to this. Another military dictatorship loading. That was how her father and first Prime Minister of Bangladesh was killed, leading to coups and countercoups that ultimately led to a long dictatorship. That's what happen when you protest without brains and clear directions. Congratulations to Pakistan and China for a successful coup. Freedom is now lost in Bangladesh for a long time. |
My brother na 100-0. Even minor ones she promises to pay, it will be left unpaid until I use vex pay am. My back don wan break ![]() |
Nwaikpe:You must either be a Muslim or a former Muslim. You seem to know the religion more ![]() |
SIRTee15:I'm not a Muslim. So there is no "you guys" when it comes to me. You are both sides of the same coin. While one has brutal adherents in day to day life, the other is full of cowards but has online clout anonymously. Both of you are to be avoided. I don't touch religious people even with a long stick. Y'all go to your prayer houses every week but leave there to commit various violent and non-violent crimes. Even priests of both sides have started doing regular prayers for fraudsters. Your gods must be proud of you all. |
Arostar2023:This one that killed innocent children? Also what do you have to say about the anonymous extremists and e-religious warriors on nairaland and twitter. Bunch of cowards. That's why you can't find them on Facebook or see them in real life. |
emmy512:You know the perpetrator is a Christian. But your religious extremism no go allow you talk truth outside. Religious extremism full among Christians but unlike Muslims, them no get liver to do the things Muslims get liver to do. That's why we see people like you in anonymous forums. You can't find them saying stuffs like this in platforms with names like Facebook. Me when I see religious people***
|
Chinkoalhaji34:How much time does the country even have. Things are getting worse. We are in the second year of his presidency already. Reverse or suspend these policies until you find a better strategy. That's what a people's president would have done. You don't wait until there is full-blown anarchy. The man is not doing those who put their reputation on the line to campaign for him any favor. He has proven all his detractors right. |
Please what happened to the coup some people tried to stage in Venezuela? I heard they could only topple some statues. Imagine a country announcing the election results of another country. Nothing we no go see for this life.
|
cocolacec:Stop spreading fake news because you want people to watch your YouTube videos. - The lady is not a doctor. She is a nurse turned health administrator. - They both went to the same high school. So not new to each other, even though they got married at 47 and 49. - It was a murder-suicide, which means both died. - The man was a truck driver, not a trash collector. - Nobody knows the motive for the murder-suicide. |
Kushites:No denying that. Provisions were made for subsidy until I think July, in the hope that the next president will take measures to contain the fallout before its removal. No plan, no strategies, he just announced it was gone during inauguration, plunging the country immediately into chaos on his first day. I planned to move some properties interstate two days after his inauguration. The people I had agreed price with prior had to tell me the price was now triple what we agreed due to his unguarded statement. |
Justnation:Your past and current ancestors are more moronic than I can ever be. |
WriteerNg:Is this man using style to call for a Ukrainian referendum on the new Russian territories? Good news for the Ukrainian people. They will surely do what is necessary. Innocent people do not have to continue to be killed. |
Procashtips:The thing tire me o. What were they expecting after their show of shame in April. ![]() If they like, let them listen to another plea for deescalation. |
Sheuns:I have to agree with you. I have never see anybody lose their political goodwill as fast as Tinubu. Lost it all from the first day after many talks of how he has been preparing to be president for years. |
Curious346:I disagree. Unlike Biden, he knows his policies are disastrous. His children also know due to their many statements and so do many members of his cabinet. Either he is too stubborn to see the policy through at any cost or he just doesn't care about Nigerians. I don't know if you understand Yoruba but It's now a matter of "A ti oje bo oloosha lowo, o ku baba eni ti yoo bo". |
Hedonisco:I wanted to reply you but then I remember you and your kind are only e-warriors but cowards in real life. Monday is almost here. Your mothers and fathers will be forced to sit at home as usual, and you're too lily-livered to do anything about it. I'll advice you transfer your brain and hope into freeing your mothers and fathers from their weekly shackles and forced imprisonment.
|
GreenxGreen:Very likely. I started suspecting that when there was rumors this year that maybe Tinubu has started paying back subsidy and IMF and Western News started releasing articles about how fuel subsidy is bad. Tinubu has lost a lot of goodwill, even to many of his core supporters.
|
Even if I didn't vote or campaigned for anybody in the 2023 election, I hoped Tinubu would win because I believed him to be the most capable of the contestants. My preference for the election was; Tinubu - Atiku - Kwankansho - Obi. Even if some of us knew it was Buhari that actually planned the removal of the fuel subsidy, Tinubu has actually mismanaged the process of the removal. That man disappointed me from the first day of his tenure with his unguarded and unwarranted statement of how "fuel subsidy is gone" without making plans on how to cushion the effects. With rising cost of living, hunger and inflation, two things bother me about the president. The masses are not seeing the effects of the money saved from fuel subsidy neither does residents see any changes in their states or lives due to increased FAAC state allocation. A man who supposedly cares for the people should have, even if temporarily, reversed the disastrous fuel subsidy removal until a better time, suspend taxes on food and essential products and services, and opened the borders to allow for importation of cheap food to tackle hunger and teach the greedy food producers and middlemen a lesson. Why isn't the president doing so? Maybe Tinubu people or members of APC should come and educate us. ****Disclaimer: This thread is for intelligent people and discussions. If you come here to say shit about Yoruba people, just a reminder that I can be a tribalist too, and very brutal at it for that matter. So keep it clean.
