cool

I do laugh when I remember the entire South East 5 state is a little over Oyo State in Land mass

So me going from say Eleyele Teaching Hospital Ibadan to University of Ibadan

That's like traveling from 3 south East state

.
Also do laugh when you remember the entire Israel is 22,145 km² while Oyo State is 28,454 km²......It means Oyo State that is bigger than the combined sizes of 3 Countries: Israel (22,145 km² ) + Malta (315 km² ) + Luxembourg (2,586 km² ) is their "senior broda".... cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

By the way Luxembourg is not even up to half the size of Imo State. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

NIGERIA CAN'T EASILY AFFORD IT...
Let's call a spade a spade, the country Nigeria is Poor... GDP per capita clearly shows that the citizens of the country are poor ..
And whether we accept it or not, majority of this overpopulated country are poor.. so now feeding pupils on school after giving them "Free education" is a clear sign of supporting the high population growth...
Other countries that feed and provide some free government support to citizens, their tax rate is very high...
Can we afford high taxation here?
Nigeria is "poor" but CAN EASILY AFFORD IT, resources are being wasted in fueling personal greed and massaging egos.
Politics › Re: Is Government Right To Feed Pupils In School? by Mindlog: 5:56pm On Dec 12, 2023
Yes, it is right to support children in public primary schools with feeding as overwhelming majority of them are from very poor homes based on the fact that good nutrition supports healthy brain growth in children and increases better educational outcomes,

For those children who didn't choose the vulnerable family they were born into, they look forward to going to school because of that food and it is cheaper in the long run as it reduces the drop out rate at that basic level of education.

Nigeria can easily afford it, the key issue is the corruption that is being embedded in the various feeding programs. Let us assume a public primary school has 600 pupils and the feeding budget for each pupil is N500, that totals N300k per day and for the 5 school days in a week, it totals N1.5m weekly and for the 13 weeks of the school term it culminates at N19.5m.......for the 3 terms in an academic year, we can round it up at N60m for 600 children in one academic year.......while each senator got a SUV worth N160m!

Taking them away only compounds their problem. Those kids ends up doing drugs and rely on government benefits.

Bad parenting is really killing their good system.

Even though beating is not totally the answer but can be moderated. I still make my kids to do punishments for bad behavior.
Moderation is relative.

A child's bad behaviour should never be enabled by looking the other way, it has to be promptly addressed and appropriately

Classic example of displacement......The woman is releasing her life's frustration on the child who is weaker under the disguise of "discipline" .

We have some children of Nigerian parents who have been taken away by UK's social service and now living in care, away from their parents till further notice because their parents refused to unlearn that beating a child as if they are hitting animals is not disciplining.

Their mother breaks the family because of greeds she abandoned them and to reconcile with her is a big no. I am waiting for her to report me to court 🙄 I will attend the court. if they grant her custody of the children and visitations rights for me no wahala I will release the boys to her and they will be unite with their sister. I will continue to do my duties as a father.
So wait till the court decides custody, visitations and provisions for the triplets before renting a 2 bedroom and parlour because renting it and their mother gets custody, will be unnecessary expenditure.

The children are not with him as he outsourced their care and they are staying with their grandmother and their aunt, who are both not presently married.

OP's mother and his sister can never the children' mother as long as she has not been clinically diagnosed to be mentally disordered nor proven beyond reasonable doubt that she is a risk to their children overall wellbeing.
