What if he takes him there and cut all communication with me? what if he fills his head with things he resent about me and I lose my son's love and affection? Since he is 10, let him remain in Nigeria and complete his secondary school education, which I believe he can by age 15-17,then his father can file for him before he clocks 18. |

For example, if one is getting married in the Catholic Church, Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian, recognized Pentecostal Churches etc, the couple do not need to go for court wedding. She needs to get herself employed so she can begin carrying her own weight asap, otherwise chances are she will be forgotten in no time. As for her marriage, we'll, she could file for divorce but that is about it. Dependent in the sense that her visa is tied to her husband's visa. |

christejames: Let's keep deceiving ourselves with the so called remembrance every year when what led to the death of most armed men are yet to be tackled
After the Civil War, has the 3R (Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, and Reintegration) been implemented to the later? Especially in the region where the war was fought?
Why is the country shying away from teaching the upcoming generations history about the war?
In Germany, all Germans in primary school are taught history about the first and second world wars to let them know where they are coming from. But here, we are gagging and trying to erase history of the wars because of some utopian fear... Well captured. |

KOVIC19COVID20: Sorry about your FRIEND. Please, any ideas what may have caused your friend to be asked to rewrite project?
I knew someone back then at Anglia Ruskin who was asked to go and complete the resit in home country since visa was expiring. Your friend’s unique circumstances may help get an exemption. But the school may insist they’re not going to extend nada. Also finished from Anglia Ruskin and had a course mate who had issues with her dissertation and visa was expiring in weeks, ARU refused any visa extension and advised her move to her home country to complete and re-submit from there.......a switch to skilled worker visa saved her! |

In a system where social service truly works and scrutiny is properly done......you will not qualify to adopt a child because you don't have the capacity to, outside money. |

Acidosis: As in. I absolutely understand. "Grass to grace" stories like this are a major reason so called "graduates" overlook many of these money spinners. The owner of the shop, I used buy my Nigerian foodstuffs from here in the UK told me in one of our conversations that he came to the UK for his Masters, graduated, started an office work and earning monthly salary. After 2 years, he had to ask himself hard questions, that his widowed mother used to go to Oron to buy crayfish to resell in Onitsha and that business saw him and his 5 siblings through university.....he re-strategized and went to work for a Pakistani who owned an African shop for about 6 months, learning the ropes and how he gets supplies from West African countries at the cheapest rate. There are so many money spinners many look down as "work for those whey no go school". |
