I am into neurodevelopmental assessments, do QB testing for ADHD assessment and when I get to enlighten some Nigerian parents on the need to have their children assessed for glaring markers of some neurodevelopmental disorders, they reject in Jesus name.

To those who want to travel because they feel Nigeria is not progressing and because of their self hatred for the country. I wish to state here categorically that they should be allow to go. No country should stop them. Safe journey to them but they should also have it at the back of their minds that by the time they don't get what they want in the so called country that flows with milk and honey and they return back to Nigeria when they must have heard of the best happening in Nigeria, they will find out that those of us who stayed back to help sacrifice and build the country will occupy the best positions and we will take charge of every best opportunities and they will become beggars in their own home country.

Not also forgetting those who are spoiling the image of the country with drugs related crimes all over the globe all the time and running to developed countries to constitute nuisance. Your punishment is doing some push-up waiting for you. And may never return alive.

There need to be more awareness, so parents can see the need for early assessments and intervention.

From a clinical point of view, he needs to have Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions with a psychotherapist for talk therapy and getting his mind prepared to go see a psychiatrist.

The Psychiatrist will assess to ascertain if there are mental health issues that is triggering his compulsive gambling and I am 100% certain there is/are. XXXXXX medication would be prescribed to help moderate the compulsiveness.

Look around to see if there are recovering gamblers' groups and get him to join one.

The best is to have him buy into getting into residential treatment program and stay in the rehab for at least a month.

But all that is listed above will not be effective, if your brother do not have the will to quit gambling....it is a very difficulty journey.

seun mynd44
How is your being heartbroken from a romantic relationship, have a need to grace the frontpage?

Suicidal thoughts over a cheating girlfriend? Boyfriend/girlfriend relationship tend to be transient, many use it to pass away time at certain stage of their lives while not deeply invested in it because they know very well that their future will not have that boyfriend/girlfriend in it except belle enter and dem born the pikin, then baby daddy and baby mama levels while choosing to marry another person.

You do not need to move on fast, you need to move on at your own pace.

Family › Re: Kind Of Wife A Widower Of Four Children Should Marry by Mindlog:
At this stage, what is of the best interest of the children should be paramount not that of the widower,

The woman he has in mind, also has her own children and I am 100% certain that his children are not ready to be part of a blended family, so he has to "sacrifice" more years and raise his children on his own without marrying another wife, many widows do it and I believe he too, can.

His children need his 100% attention, not sharing it with his new wife, their step siblings and the half-sibling(s) that may be product of the second marriage.

Marrying his divorced ex-girlfriend is very likely going to cause problem in the family, madam will be "reclaiming the spot" she was denied many years ago and put the children at risk...... dem go feel it.

All are sinners.

But we are talking about people who see their own sin as nothing.

They have all disappeared because many of them have done dedication of children they got from adultery before God. Lifetime deceit of the man that married them who is unknowingly taking care of another man's child or children. They should go and confess.
Seeing sin as nothing is not gender based but a human thing as it boils down to the person.

Different people have different ways of disciplining someone, some use beatings(using involve whipping), reprehention, take the woman and children away from the man for sometime, seize his property etc.
They can be creative about it and call him to order if proper verbal correction is not heeded.
No one has the legal right to do all you listed.

It's just a complicated matter sometimes. Some abusive marriage latter became beautiful at the end. My pastor told us today how his sister fought for her marriage. At some point it was truly an abusive marriage that the man even beat her while she was pregnant and almost lost the baby. Fast forward, latter she became born again and so did her husband. They are now living peacefully ever after.
It's a gamble so decide how to play it.
Being "born again" does not wipe away the trauma of abuse, they are both ticking time bomb and let the Pastor continue encouraging people who can't think with their God given brains to hang on to abusive marriage with the hope of it becoming "beautiful at the end", such Pastors are due for psychiatric evaluations.

If it's a fasle accusation against the man because of the woman selfish intrest let the man get a good lawyer if he's still having intrest of going back to UK otherwise let him relocate to USA or other countries of his choice . I don't know why i am having a soft feeling for this man . However i will make some contacts and see if i can drop a number for USA
work sponsorship for him here .
If he can proof beyond reasonable doubt that he has never beaten the woman and the children confirms that abuse was not witnessed in their home, his lawyer will stand a better chance of clearing his name with the UKVI but with that hanging over his head, I am certain no UK company will gamble to sponsor him because it is Home Office that issues the CoS and they already have his name on their system with that case tied to his name.

He was with the kids in Nigeria and came with them to Uk ,how about if the position of the kids is different from the man ex wife? Have the woman even officially dirvorced him? We have not even hear the side story of the man. Or are you standing in defense of the woman? Let him get a lawyer too.
The position of the children is a strong determinant of the case while both the man and woman engage the services of lawyers to represent their positions.

What is very CERTAIN, is that the children will not be going back to Nigeria.

The woman has separated from him now and they can't be under the same roof, next is the divorce procedure which would be initiated in Nigeria, where the man is heading back to.

What advantage destroying the man life again. If she don't want the marriage again and dependentsvisa already cancelled. Let the man be once he can find his way to UK again. What are we fighting for in this world. All must die one day.
If the children are assessed and it comes out that their father have been abusive in the home, he is done for and getting Visa to relocate to the UK will be very low as the woman and lawyers would harp on him being a risk to her wellbeing, should he granted visa to the UK again.

All must die one day but while living, humans will battle it out.

I like the word you used " if truly " you and i know what most of our Nigerian women do over here once a woman discovered uk law favoured women most here and mostly when she found a new love however If the woman have a nigeria police report of abuse and video then it is a bad case but if no nigeria report as of when she wss abused and no video then no case if the man have a good attorney. I recommend for him to reach out to the number i sent out on this tread he may have a way out if truly he is innocent. It is touching story.
If there is no video evidence nor police report, that is where those in my field, child psychology comes in.

The professional psychological assessment of the children would give a clear picture of what their parents' relationship has been like over the years, if they were cases of domestic abuse in the home, there are techniques used for such assessments that would make the children spill the truth even if either of their parents have told them to lie against the other parent........long way to go

That's right he will have to go back to Nigeria and come back with his CoS but Most importantly is for him to get a job sponsor now begore leaving Uk . if
the kids was with him in Nigeria and he brought them to UK and chats between him and his ex wife before his arrival to UK showed no sign of misunderstanding
before him leaving Nigeria with the kids to UK only for his ex wife to collect passport from him and wrote for cancellation of the dependents visa . The UKVI can not ban him and his ex wife can't
win any abuse rather be seen a woman who deceived her husband becauseof her personal reasons. Are the couples officially dirvorced now ?
And you think decision will be based only on the chats between him and his ex wife before his arrival to UK ?

If truly he was physically abusive to her over some years and she presents to UKVI pictures, videos, medical reports and proofs of reporting domestic abuse to the Nigeria police.....what do you think will be decision of UKVI?

E easy to get sponsored job....with what skill? How will he convince prospective employer that they should overlook the reason for his visa cancellation?
