gift01:I am looking forward to it. |
Nice one.....24/7 electricity in Enugu state should be one of the goals. |
Nanorest:Where I choose to spend my life should not be of anyone's concern. I and my family prefer to live our lives here in Cambridge and travel to other parts of the world that excites us or will my chances of making heaven increase if I live and die a "first class" citizen in Nigeria? |
Nanorest:Why didn't you stay back in the insecure Nigeria and "make" money, abi no be guys like you dey launch new rides on a steady in Nigeria? |
hstar:He surely isn't. |
Talk with looters, at least they are not unknown looters! ![]() |
Coolsat:Canada is geographically 10 times the size of Nigeria but Nigeria have about 5 times their population...so you can imagine the spread and less physical social interactions, then the weather no mentally favour many immigrants. |
MasterJayJay:The song flashed through my mind once I saw the thread! ![]() |
U go dey upgrade another person house, whey no be say u lease am for at least 5 years, |
igwebuike01:Na so we see am o! ![]() |
I don't believe in "tithing". |
saintopus:The laws are there but low enforcement rate. |
jumper524:Yimu! If it is easier to make it in Nigeria, why are 133 million Nigerians multidimensionally poor during Buhari's presidency and expectedly increased now? Work through your old age....how many Nigerians retire comfortably at age 60? A Nigerian who is single and earning minimum wage in the UK is 40 times better off than his or her single counterpart in Nigeria, earning minimum wage. |
accordadoga29:And yet despite that "truancy", Anambra have the highest cut off mark of 139 in national common entrance examination in Nigeria today! ![]() Kids from your state of origin that attends school from 8a.m to 4p.m, Mondays to Sundays......what is their cut off mark? ![]() Never skip your Trifluoperazine again!

sukkot:I have watched the video from the beginning to end and I am yet to see the "mental health issues" you mentioned. She is going through a phase, many go through when they relocate to a new place as they struggle to adapt to a system quite different from where they had their formation. Even within Nigeria, there are Nigerians who were born and raised outside Lagos and when they come to Lagos for better economic opportunities, they struggle to adapt to what Lagos represents......some pull through, some return back to their comfort zones as they couldn't cut through. For those professionally trained in counselling, there is what is called Immigration Acculturation Therapy (IAT) and this helps migrants to ease better into the new system and those who are struggling mentally, occasioned by the move. There is someone who wanted to come over to the UK for his Masters this September intake but I had to talk him and his family out of it because I have known him right from his childhood and I know about his mood disorders that him and his family has refused to go for a clinical diagnosis. I know about his severe moods dips during the cold raining seasons in Nigeria and moving to the UK with the cold weather and the coming winter, he would definitely slide into Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) which will be triggered by winter, the depression it generates no dey get part 2 and some may become suicidal. I encouraged him to go for a Msc program that has May intake, so he arrives UK when the weather is warm and by the time the weather begins to dip in late 2024, he would have mentally prepared himself, also get a light box in his house and sit near it for about an hour every morning as the light would "deceive" the brain to "believe" it is the warm weather in Nigeria and would help increase the production of the hormone called serotonin. The woman in the video says she needs a job based on her work experience in Nigeria......she will eventually achieve her "okay". |
Impressive. |
NLPoliceWoman:Using your alternate account to complain? ![]() So infantile! ![]() |
Agbaya, why can't he compare himself to Davido? No be man like him? |
Poor anger management....2 lives wasted. |
Khyrvxjzy:I am also jobless like you, we are in the same WhatsApp group. ![]() |
Jomonix:He is not inciting anyone to act, Nigerians will continue to go about their daily lives, suffering and smiling. |
Normalizing dirty environment and feeling comfortable functioning within it, is surely a form of mental disorder. |
descarado:You want it to "come out" from my mouth, that there is more to it than plantain? |
yarimo:You truly see things in your head. |
Maureen4sure:Congratulations as I can imagine your joy! I know someone who had similar issue, she was awarded a postgraduate diploma in February because she didn't meet up with the academic requirements to be awarded a Msc. She submitted medical reports, involved the student advice, course leader, the school mental wellness team and the pastoral counsellor......the school granted her another opportunity to resubmit what was outstanding in early May and by first week of June, the result was out and awarded a Msc.....graduated in July. |
The end of a fast lane. |
TheFacelessMan:Counselling......if I hear! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Chidike200:When I was in Accra, the plantain I was eating there was no different from the plantain I ate while growing up in Nigeria. If you seek export business, even travelling by road to Gambia would not generate profit for you.....cross over Benin border, cross over Togo border, cross over Ghana border, cross over Ivory Coast border, cross over Liberia border, cross over Sierra Leone border, cross over Guinea Conakry border, cross over Guinea Bissau border before entering Gambia......what is so special about Nigeria's plantain that would get rotten before getting to Gambia? |
Blackveil:100% WRONG. |
Informative. |
