Hello Guys! Please is it true that the UK Government no longer allows or approves dependants to come along to the UK?
I intend to apply for my Msc and would want my family to come along.
Yes, it ended with this September/October set.

fineboynl:
Child dedication. Should a child be deducted to a God or gods without their consent?

In modern society there is nothing like child dedication, Seminar to other form of child rituals and tribal mark. And These modern children are far ahead and better to all the children from regions where they still practice child dedication and other form of rituals during a new born child.

Should not a child grow up and decide for himself. Why does the parents have to dedicate the child to idols, tribal mark and or rituals.

I know its out of fear and protection due to many negative and religious beliefs but the regions that practice all of this for many years are still far behind and not any better.
Which modern society? No be me attend the baptism of the child of an English couple here in Cambridge, today? huh

Even the United Nations Human Rights acknowledges “the rights of parents to freedom of religion or belief include their rights to educate their children according to their own conviction and to introduce their children to religious initiation rites.” It is left for the government of each country to ensure that those religious initiation rites do not endanger the wellbeing of the child and when such child grows up, has the right to discontinue that religious pathway.

Sorry to disturb you, Bro. I argued something with him but I will like to ask you. I told him that, no University will give him admission based on his age for a BSc course and even visa. But he said, someone told him he can still get admission and student visa (I guess an agent). How true is this pls? Thanks!
He should rather focus his mind on getting admitted into the National Open University of Nigeria, then after graduating he can now decide his direction.

If I see you are committed and have skills that can help my organization’s growth, I wouldn’t mind how much you earn before I can invest in you
In OP's case, the visa issuing officer has seen through the "japa package" in the disguise of training, na today! cheesy cheesy cheesy

I work here in the UK as Neurodevelopmental Disorder Assessor because of my skills in Clinical Child Psychology, my organization is already paying thousands of Pounds for my continuous professional development to increase my capacity in service delivery with the certainty that I will be with them for the next 3 and half years, what guarantee do you have that if you send that staff to the UK for training, he or she would come back to Nigeria? cheesy cheesy cheesy

That’s what you get if you insist on working in a multinational without the requisite skill and network. You help out during the wait period.

You’re still the man of the house o, nobody will take that away from you, but you can pick up a few house chores while you’re at it

Life no balance
I am making efforts to wrap my mind around a wife who has become the sole provider in the home, goes out to work and comes back home to thank the husband and biological father of their children for being "humble" enough to "emasculate" himself to look after his own children when his wife is out at work? huh

Child care is the responsibility of BOTH father and mother.

Stating that the amount used for your training is more that what you will earn still doesn’t add up to why they denied you the visa.
An organization can spend a very hug sum to train it’s employees as far as they have something to benefit from training them
Some of this agencies can be so bias
If OP is earning N150k monthly, what would motivate his employers to spend about N5m for his visa, a return flight ticket, hotel accomodation, per diem, local transportation and the training cost (the training is even IT related and can be done online)?

He was rightly denied the visa.

Madam be a better woman.

When you wake up everyday, give God glory and adoration for giving you good health, a job and beautiful children that you are proud to take care of.

Thank God for having a man who can help you take care of the children while you go out and work, and when he helps you take care of the children, thank him for his help.

If you don’t like this style, there’s also another choice, start nagging him everyday till you nag him to self exile, then you can comfortably take care of your children and work at the same time while at it

That first point they gave is as hopeless a reason as I've ever seen...how can comparison of one's salary to the training expenses be a basis for disqualification...7 times bigger indeed.

Op didn't your company give you a covering letter from the body conducting the training?

The actual fact is that European countries are now weary of Nigerians especially these japa fever enveloping the country....they're always on the look out for the slightest reason to turn down visa applications.
There are red flags all over that visa application, that is a japa package and the High Commission rightly spotted it quickly.

Would they still be supporting Israel lock, stock and barrel. As we know some cities in America has Muslim majority, like Minisota amongst many others.

In the instance that Muslim becomes majority what would happen to the US policy in Isreal.
Muslims can NEVER become the majority in the United States, they are presently less than1.5% of the population and the "owners" of America have their eyes on the statistics and would "do all" to see it does not exceed their acceptable level.....figure it out. cheesy cheesy cheesy

There was a job I got in Birmingham, UK to work with children and young persons, apart from the professional skills required for the role, an added requirement was that applicants should be able to comfortably communicate in at least three of the following languages: French, Yoruba, Twi, English, Swahili and Arabic. Despite the facility being managed by the UK system , they didn't want these young ones being of African ancestry who have been taken away from their families to live in care, to completely get disconnected from what is part of their identity....language.

Different local languages is not the cause of Nigeria's disunity as people from the same tribe, who speak the same language do kill themselves regularly.

Other tribes are cheering behind u say? The day we SS pple will rise up against the criminal activities in Nigeria nd the marginalization that's when you'll knw we're only united because of SS. We can single handedly destroy the economy of this backward country, that's why they knw without us Nigeria would be the poorest country in the whole world. Maybe u think Nigeria revolves around the 3 of u.
It doesn't revolve around the 3 tribes but if SS say no more access to their oil, make everyone face their region.....South East go face their gas which they have the largest deposit of in Nigeria. cheesy cheesy cheesy
