Confirmedzombie: David Gift Okpara.
Why are ipob so heartless. Killed a DPO, cut off his neck and private part.
South Eadt a once peaceful region turned to the land of evil.
You will never see ipob, obedients comment on this thread. They mentioned the muderers as being gang members of Iceland cult, while you are fixated on mentioning those that were not mentioned. What relates South East to this murder in Rivers State or don't you know the 6 States that makes up the South-south? |

Another dissertation on Japa....if you are skilled and your skill sets are in high demand in a foreign country that better appreciates it, do well and relocate.
Whenever I read about racism in such dissertation, I instantly assume the writer means tribal bigotry that catwalks boldly in Nigeria and in many African countries is a non issue.
A stable life with a sense of order,is what many desire, it is not just about the money.
I will prefer to save £300 monthly after all deductions and expenditures than saving N500K monthly in Nigeria (which less than 0.5% of Nigerians can in Nigeria) |

The Transport for London's site says that the London Underground has 11 lines covering 402km and serving 272 stations, that it handles up to five million passenger journeys a day. At peak times, there are more than 543 trains whizzing around London......so it is good to use it to weigh the projection, while also bearing in mind that London is the size of Epe and Ikorodu put together. |

Simeonjoe1: Very much will change, in fact multiply corruption x100 and give the politicians 800trn my guy Nigeria will change in the next 5 years. We overblown corruption in this country too much, probably due to our low mental strength in scrutinizing financial audit, project implementation and utilization What was your home state getting as monthly allocation in 1999 and what is it getting now? |
Politics › Re: It May Take 300 Years To Build Nigeria's Infrastructure Gap - SEC by Mindlog: 3:23pm On Sep 08, 2023 |
Simeonjoe1: Normal. Try look US and look at Nigeria then tell me how long you'll catch up. Look at a typical German neighborhood then look at Nigerian disorganized housing structure.
But with adequate economic growth and increase revenue generation we can catch up with less time. Nigeria needs a budget of atleast 200tn yearly to catch up within the next 25 years....
With 200trn annual budget , those ugly makoko slum, those open gutters, those erosion degraded Street roads will turn to London in less than 10yrs. All na money Even with a 800 trillion naira annual budget with leadership fixated on benefitting from corruption, no much change. |

Samogloby: Obi and his useless supporters cause this rubbish from Omokri. I wish Obi and his supporters had supported Atiku in the last election, this would have given Obi the opportunity after Atiku presidency. But ambitious and lack of diligent calculation by Obi and his supporters brought this upon themselves. Why was Atiku aiming for the presidency after Buhari's 8 years? Why didn't he support a southern candidate to fly PDP's flag? I hope it is not a case of selective amnesia, which vice president in the last 24 years has gone to become the president after his boss' 8 years apart from Jonathan who became one upon the death of Yar'dua? |

nairalanda1: Botswana is less than 3 million people, and is what Nigeria would be if our population was 5 million instead of the 230 million people.
Botswana's main export is diamonds. It is the seventh largest exporter of diamods, and it has just 2.9 million people. That's why it can afford good looking roads and streets.
Nigeria? We can't because our populaiton is too huge to rely on one single export, and that is if we used the money rightly. Countries like Nigeria that have a large population size and are prosperous also rely heavily on exporting manufactured goods and services, and taxable income. A multiplicity of money streams if you will.
If Botswana were to grow to 200 million people, and still rely on diamonds...it would be as bad as Nigeria. Nigeria's population is burdensome because it is not productive as it should be and so much wastage in the system. There are states in Nigeria with population less than 3 million residents and billions of naira passing through their systems daily with intentional leakages and deliberately not exploring their human capital resources by investing intentionally on them because it would impact hard on the amount they want to steal. |

Raydos: This happens as a result of poverty, You can't see any politicians children doing that because they are all well to do!!
If poverty is eradicated, 70% of our problems will be solved, But on the flip side, We don't even possess the mental capacity to enrich ourselves!! Reality is that 20 years from now, more of such images of neighbourhoods would spring up. I regularly do google street views of neighbourhoods I knew as a child and as an adolescent, most of what I see is environmental degradation, neighbourhood renewal is non existent and majority are not even bothered as they are stuck at the base of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, have no capacity to mentally process the cesspit many of those neighbourhoods represents. |
